Advantage Sales and Marketing currently has a number of immediate openings throughout the Portland area. We are looking for outgoing, customer oriented individuals to conduct in-store product demonstrations at major local retailers.

As an Event Specialist, you will conduct in-store demonstrations for both food and non-food products, to generate excitement, brand awareness, and drive sales through product promotion.

If you like talking and interacting with people and get excited about trying new things, this opportunity is for you!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage shoppers and promote new and exciting products in store

• Educate yourself on new products and communicate features and benefits to shoppers

• Build strong relationships with store managers and personnel

• Report event activity on a daily basis through an online reporting system

• Set-up, breakdown, and clean product demonstration equipment

Qualifications

• Product Demonstration or retail/grocery experience desirable

• Sales and customer service experience a plus

• Must enjoy working with the general public

• Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer service oriented

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalency required.

• Must have reliable daily access to the Internet

• Must pass background/drug screen

Up to 35 hours per week; Number of days scheduled will vary from week to week. 6 hour shifts w/30 minute break.

Job Description Pinnacle Capital Mortgage is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an underwriter in the Portland area. This individual underwrites simple to moderately complex mortgage loan application and evaluates loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk. The underwriter will be responsible for reviewing credit, income and appraisals and stay familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the mortgage field. Job Description

Wages: $15.53 to $19.41 per hour. Full scale is achieved within 15 months or sooner based on experience and job performance.

This is a full time position and benefits are provided.

Vacation: 1 week after 1 yr., 2 after 3, 3 after 8, and 4 weeks after 12 years of service.

Duties: As a Full Service driver, you will deliver products to restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals, coffee stands, warehouses and like accounts as the route is assigned. This is a physically demanding position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently sit, stand, walk and drive a truck with reasonable accommodations. This role requires constant bending and reaching and must be able to lift 75 pounds and push and pull 200 pounds consistently throughout the entire shift. The Route Driver is exposed to cold as he/she goes in and out of refrigerated truck and customer cooler and freezers.

Employee will operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, computers and calculators. Math skills are very helpful in performing the duties of this position. Routes are set to fairly tight schedule and the employee needs to be organized and efficient in the use of his/her time. He/she must effectively meet all service objectives by delivering reliable service to all assigned accounts and deliver all products to scheduled accounts in good condition and within scheduled delivery time.
