I've been listening to Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn" while hammering away at my new work. My heart strings and deepest sentiments are always hollowed out and put on display by the classics. Life can be filled with beautiful, wonderful, lovely, and fiery, smelly, garbage-y distractions. What's really important is what you do to distance yourself from the beautiful greasy smells of the universe. What you do to reset. What you do to loosen up, simplify and lose the weight of your mind. For me it's always excercise (cardio), yoga, playing music and taking photos. What's yours?
