Legendary #warnerbrothers #cartoon star #daffyduck made his first screen appearance on this day in 1937 in the #animated short #porkysduckhunt. The scheming, short tempered duck soon became one of their most popular characters, second only to his arch rival #bugsbunny, and their best cartoons often featured them together, particularly the #rabbitseason trilogy. Unlike Bugs Daffy rarely got the best of his antogonist and usually ended up spluttering and lisping in rage.
