speaking on this only bc it’s within my lane but being on this site over 10 years i’ve come to recognize that there’s a certain breed of socially awkward guy that started out as a super combative 4chan/reddit transplant anti-sjw blog back when those were all the rage that specifically just argued with sjws all day but eventually through whatever life events ended up garnering some left-wing beliefs so they’d rebrand a few times, getting a little more “normal” with every go and even becoming friends with some of these sjws unlike their peers that somehow are posting to this day in 2023 like it’s still 2012.

but these guys never let go of their core bigotries typically levied against less “respectable” people of color and/or lgbtq people and if you bring up these people these guys will go on and on about The Hellsite and how innocent dudes will get harassment campaigns levied against them by these ugly caricatures. and then if you look deeper at their diatribes or have a reasonably long memory you realize most of these guys started it or did their own heinous shit.

it ends up being hard to get a good track record of these guys because of the nature of receipts and web archives and how nobody seems to like including timestamps in their screenshots so you end up like me who just recognizes names and sees posts these “reformed” dudes make years down the line about how unforgiving this site is and you can only go “i think that’s the guy who used to do nothing but pick fights with trans women and communists all day”

its just one of the weirder features of this site along with, again, the weirdos that are still maintaning their anti-sjw rantsonas in 2023
