With these Sous Vide Herb Rubbed Pork Chops, you can step up your pork chop game. The sous vide method makes sure the meat is cooked just right, and the herb rub gives it a burst of flavor.
Ingredients: 4 pork chops, bone-in. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 teaspoons dried thyme. 2 teaspoons dried rosemary. 2 teaspoons dried sage. 2 teaspoons garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat the sous vide bath to your desired doneness temperature e.g., 140F / 60C for medium In a small bowl, mix together dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried sage, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the herb rub. Rub each pork chop with olive oil, ensuring an even coating. Generously coat each pork chop with the herb rub, pressing the mixture onto the meat to adhere. Place each seasoned pork chop into a separate sous vide bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing. Submerge the sealed bags in the preheated sous vide bath and cook for the desired time e.g., 1.5 to 4 hours for pork chops. Once done, carefully remove the pork chops from the sous vide bags. Heat a skillet over high heat. Sear the pork chops for about 1-2 minutes per side for a nice crust. Serve the sous vide herb-rubbed pork chops hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy these perfectly cooked and flavorful pork chops!
