baroque and rococo

between 1720-1789 (baroque era ) the seperation between wealth and poverty was very prominent the rich would make it a point to dress as lavishly as possible showing off there wealth as much as possible when they go out sillk was the most popularfabric during this time period while linen was more common for udergarments.

During the Rococo period. The fashion in the courts became extravagant hair styles were styled as tall as possible and the skirts grew wider. Outside of the courts was a different story people leaned more towards simplicity even aristocracy started leaning towards the fashion of commoners wearing things that they would usually wear inside outdoors, almost li’e how we were Lounge/activewear outside to run errands or just as everyday style.
