The Official NGE Character Ranking

It’s finally time for the official ranking of Neon Genesis Evangelion characters, as proclaimed by me. While there are a lot of characters to examine, I’d like to focus on the main characters of the original TV series, End of Evangelion, and Death & Rebirth.

WORST OF THE WORST

Gendo Ikari

The story's villain, it's only appropriate to set him dead last. A grieving man turns to putting 14-year-old kids into mecha robots powered by souls. From parental neglect to his agenda to end the world and start the Third Impact, Gendo Ikari can only receive small sympathy points.

Kozo Fuyutsuki

As Gendo's sidekick, I can't let Fuyutsuki off the hook for aiding and abetting. While he does show more compassion towards Shinji Ikari for the identity crisis every other episode than Gendo ever cared to, helping your former college students end the world doesn't look good on a resume.

No Harm No Foul

Kensuke Aida

Kensuke is a little military nerd who just dreams of piloting an EVA. He likes learning about all the actions of NERV or the UN - but also has the horned-up aspect of being a 14-year-old boy who carries around a camera. While it's nice to allow Shinji to have some friends and a form of escapism through his brief stay with Kensuke after running away (again). there isn't much that we know about Kensuke.

Toji Suzuhara

The other half of Kensuke, Toji is the more outwardly expressive and even passive-aggressive. We're introduced to him through his anger at Shinji for Toji's sister after she is severely injured from an EVA/Angel attack. He's the stereotypical "delinquent" who attacks Shinji as payback for his sister's injury, but he turns a more empathetic leaf after witnessing the mental suffering Shinji faces while piloting the EVA. When Toji is selected as the Fourth Child, everything takes a turn for the worse and we never see him again after that fiasco.

Complicit?

Ritsuko Akagi

Ritsuko lives in the shadow of her mother who created the MAGI System, the living, breathing programming holding NERV together. She's the only other person aside from Gendo and Fuyutsuki who knows the true intentions of NERV and SEELE, and for that, points off as being a piece of the end of the world. Ritsuko is still an interesting character as she internalizes and intellectualizes everything until her breaking point in destroying all the Rei copies. I feel bad for her in the cycle of abuse her mother and then her goes through under Gendo's romantic relationships with both of them.

Yui Ikari

This poor woman died and her husband decided it was time to end the world. Had she not passed during the Project E experiment, Shinji would have been a functioning and less traumatized boy. She is such a kind-hearted person who had a positive impact on those around her, and it's sad to see what her legacy turned into through Gendo's distortion.

Misato Katsuragi

Misato always has me going back and forth on my opinions, but I do admittedly love her as a character. Her hotheadedness and drinking habits make her a piece of emotional release from all the environmental stress. Her traumatic past explains the present, and her motherly care for the pilots stands in direct opposition to Ritsuko's risk of the pilots for the sake of destroying the angels. She is largely unaware of NERV's true intentions until the untimely end.

Ryoji Kaji

Kaji is somehow a triple agent working for the Japanese Ministry against both Gendo and SEELE, really just looking to find the truth of it all. He's an admirable character whose only real flaw is being so goddamn horny for all his female characters - except Asuka so I guess there are some moral boundaries. He knew that his life was constantly at risk by working behind everyone's backs, but he's still a positive role model to Shinji, almost showcasing what the positive outcome could be.

The Children

Kaworu Nagisa

We're introduced to Kaworu as the Fifth Child following Asuka's synchronization levels dipping to unprecedented levels. He's a poetic character who quickly befriends Shinji and shows his affection toward him in unexpected manners. As it turns out, Kaworu is actually the seventeenth angel, Tabris. His interest in humankind and otherwise odd behaviors goes seemingly unnoticed by NERV. Kaworu's goal is to reconnect with Adam, but instead, he finds Lilith, rendering his mission a failure thus allowing Shinji to kill him.

Kaworu is one of the only people that shows real love towards Shinji, and that cannot go unappreciated.

Shinji Ikari

Love him or hate him, Shinji is still one of the most interesting case studies of the human mind. A traumatized 14-year-old boy who has never felt real familiar affection since his mother's passing. Abandoned by everyone but commanded to not run away too. He's just looking for some kind of approval. I believe Ritsuko summed up Shinji's character the best by equating him to the "Hedgehog's Dilemma", in which hedgehogs need warmth in the winter so they huddle together, but just end up pricking each other and causing more harm. Shinji cannot be intimate with another character without some outcome of mutual harm.

BEST GIRLS

The lifelong battle, who is the best girl of Evangelion?

The truth is, there is no real answer. They're both amazing.

Rei Ayanami

Rei I - The child we're introduced to is snarky towards Ritsuko's mother as seen in a flashback - calling her an old hag. This Rei is a product of what Gendo really says in private, and thus is killed by Naoko Akagi for repeating the words said behind her back.

Rei II - This iteration of Rei is who we're most familiar with throughout most of the series, socially withdrawn and living in admiration of Gendo for the majority of her lifespan. In her interactions with the other children, she learns to be happy and to cry. She knows she is easily replaceable to NERV's mission. In being the recreation of Yui, she exists as how Gendo saw Yui. This version of Rei passes in sacrifice to destroy an angel.

Rei III - This is the final iteration of Rei seen in the series and End of Evangelion - and is the most expressive one yet. She knows what happened to the previous incarnations, but didn't live it herself. She's angry at the world, angry at Gendo, angry at Shinji, at everyone. She knows she's replaceable, but can't do anything about it but become indifferent to the changing environment.

Asuka Langley Sohryu

I take Asuka as my favorite for her relatability. She says what we're all thinking; and just like Shinji, she's just looking for affection. The main difference is that she refuses to admit that she needs help, for people to look at her, for people to appreciate everything she's sacrificed to get into her position. She holds herself to a standard of pride, never taking out the Interface Headset clips in her hair. She thinks she's grown up, but it's all the trauma that's forced her to become so mature against all odds.

Asuka holds a special place in my heart for some unexplainable reason, so I have to place her in the top position.

Anyways, that's my ranking of the main characters of Neon Genesis Evangelion. lol.

Day 19

SEELE!Rei AU notes I wrote on the bus

If you've seen this account's post, you're probably aware of the SEELE!Rei AU that's been circulating in my brain. To those who are curious and like the concept, here are some tidbits and notes I've made about it under the read more !!! BRIEF EXPLANATION: This is an AU idea of what if Rei was raised by SEELE alongside Kaworu instead of by Gendo/NERV?

Having Rei and Kaworu as siblings would be pretty good for the both of them. Rei would have someone to relate to and be comfortable around. Kaworu would experience similar stuff too, and wouldn't be exclusively Shinji-centric, making them have a possibly healthier dynamic/relationship. Rei could also be a tad more self-expressive, since being raised by SEELE would rid her of all the conditioning* and restrictions* (by Gendo, at least) she went through in nge canon. That doesn't rid them of all their problems, though. As we know SEELE has a dummy system as well, meaning Rei would still view herself as expendable and question her identity and self (possibly even more, with now having much more information to go off of to analyze.) Poor Rei'll have to deal with another organization's instrumentality planning deal again :( Kaworu would still have to choose between Lilin and the Angels. He is still a (unnatural) progeny of Adam, after all. I don't think he would suffer any less dread and anxiety from that in this AU. Having Rei around would probably lean him more towards his decision of saving the Lilin, though. What fun to constantly have to battle your nature of returning to your angelmom/soul's body, amiright? Yeah. Having Rei in the custody of SEELE makes me think that it would be best that she wasn't a Yui clone. No more weird ulterior Yui motives!! That would pose the question of how did they come to exist then? Since the Katsuragi crew were the ones to be near Adam in Antarctica, what if another division was with Lilith a year or so later? This time they made another contact experiment with a vessel they manufactured specifically for this one. Just so happens that the one to be in charge of the design and name was our old pal Gendo... Bro can't let go of his dead wife obsession even in this AU :/ Yui's still totally dead btw. Right after Rei's "birth" too! She was still batshit insane and put her soul in Eva unit-01, but at least now Rei wasn't anywhere near NERV/GEHIRN. Rei gets unrestricted internet access. They share a room with their "twin" and have a cheap, creaky, bunk bed until they're 8, when both of them decide to split the room in half and bicker when Kaworu finds Rei's trash on his side of the room. This doesn't last too long, though, since when they turn 12, Rei gets sent for training at NERV, while Kaworu's goes two years later. ^^^^ I think about this moment a lot in the AU. Gendo basically just takes Rei to go pilot the Eva just because they look similar to Yui and had to leave her twin brother alone to deal with SEELE bullshit without anyone else to really talk to about it for 2 years.

Rei's design differs when not in school, having a light blue long skirt and a simple dress shirt with her school uniform's red ribbon. They also sport some bandaids, even before piloting! Mainly from clumsiness and accidents back when she was a small kid.

Kaworu's design is virtually the same, save for his orange belt, his black shoes with orange bottoms, and bandages on his arms. Having already been with SEELE in nge canon, I didn't want his design to differ too much.

So far that's all I've written down for now, but if I ever get close to done with this AU and have made it even slightly comprehensive then I'll probably post a huge lore-post about it. Thank you for reading !! :D

Hello! I've been enjoying reading your NGE opinions and aus a lot! Can I ask you how'd you do a full prom saga au?

Whew, why does this feel so tricky? I've been thinking about this one and I'm not sure where to take it, so let's just jump in!

First off, I think we have to group everyone into who would expect/ want to go to prom and who wouldn't? So it would be:

Asuka, Kensuke, Toji, Class Rep (Hikari?), Kaworu

Not interested:

Rei

Too insecure to even contemplate going to prom unless a minimum of three people he admires tell him they want to see him there:

Shinji

Then we have to think, what would be the conflict? What is the big problem we're having with prom that we're going to have to overcome? I think the answer is obvious: How to get Shinji and Rei to go. I feel like Asuka needs to be the driving force there, but I also don't think she would particularly care if they go (Rei she definitely wouldn't give a fuck, Shinji she would be back and forth on, I think) unless there was an incentive. So, maybe Misato asks her to try to get Shinji and Rei to go as a favor because she's worried about them being such depressed loners and, in exchange for her service, Misato will-

Wait. oh my god. We have an opportunity here to do a makeover plot line.

Ohhhhhhhhhh my god. Please forget everything I was saying before because I think this would be so funny. We could do an Asushin She's All That thing! Hot and popular Asuka declares that she can turn any loser boy from school into the Prom King, and poor Shinji becomes her project.

I think if we go this route we would probably have to alter the living arrangements so that Asuka and Shinji are not housemates, but I think we could reasonably have them living in the same apartment building. I kind of want to have Shinji living with Kaji and Asuka with Misato. I like when Misato and Asuka have girl talk and I think it's cute that Shinji apparently tries to mimic Kaji's style in ANIMA. Oh, what if Shinji tried to style himself like Kaji on the day Asuka decided to ask him to prom and was not successful? She critiques his look and is like, "I'll fix you, if you agree to go to prom with me" or something like that? I don't know. Just a thought. It might not work.

Kaji and Misato having their own little romance subplot going on while Asuka and Shinji are going through their own thing also very much appeals to me, and as the Asushin plotline progresses it can impact Kaji and Misato's relationship somehow? Don't know. But I do want a Kaji/Misato thing to happen. (I googled it. The ship name is Misakaji.)

Okay, so, Asuka and Shinji have this deep-seated disdain for each other, even from the beginning. I guess maybe Class Rep can be the one who picks Asuka's project and she picks Shinji, which Asuka tries to get out of at first, but eventually has to suck it up and invite him to prom. So that's the first hurdle. She needs to get him to agree. Luckily for the fic, Shinji will have his own reasons for saying yes. What could they be? Probably some kind of pressure from his friends. Kensuke and Toji were teasing him about being bitchless or something, maybe? Or Kaji tells him he needs to find a prom date and do one normal high school thing before he graduates. We know Shinji does what he's told, so he's now struggling to find a date. Along comes Asuka to tell him he's going to prom with her and also allowing her to make him over so she'd not humiliated to be seen with him, and he's just like, "Ugh. Fine."

They are definitely butting heads and stuff at first, but eventually they start to see a softer side of each other, as happens in these situations. Maybe Shinji discovers Misato never stocks food in the fridge and Asuka isn't a very accomplished cook, so he ends up bringing her meals. Asuka learns that Shinji doesn't want to look like his asshole father and she reveals her own father is a jerk, so they bond over that? They find out Kaji and Misato are hooking up and that's a whole thing.

There should be some angry making out.

I mean, they would really only have like a month to go from prom invite to prom night, right? Or is it six weeks? It's a very short amount of time for them to switch their tunes about each other, so I guess maybe instead of a full on love confession, we can shoot for something like: Shinji is feeling really awful about himself that he needs to be made over and act like a completely different person to get positive attention from the other kids at school. Asuka feels like her baby romance with Shinji is only because she's pushing it, and he doesn't actually care. In the end Asuka tells Shinji he's fine the way he is and undoes his makeover as much as she can (she gives him back his polo shirt and comes the styling product out of his hair? Or she rents him the silly powder blue tux he was so taken with when they went shopping for prom outfits?). She also tells Shinji he doesn't have to go to prom with her. She might just stay home. Shinji says he would rather hang out with her, then, since the only reason he wants to go to prom is to hang out with her. It is a lovely moment. Misato and Kaji are not having it. They have both spent so much fucking money on the kids' tickets and limo and outfits and shit. Misato even paid for Asuka to get her makeup done by a professional. It's very sweet they think they're going to hang out around the house in their prom outfits, but no. They are actually getting their asses to prom right now.

So Asuka and Shinji go to the dance, but they sneak out onto the school roof or something at some point and slow dance under the stars and then don't go back in.

I hope that was intelligible. I will not be reading over it for mistakes. Feel free to chime in with other ideas.

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon. Asuka Langley Soryu is my girl. I love her, and I want good things for her. I relate to her struggles with anger, perfection and success. All I wanted was for her to not be a tragic hero/doomed to fail. Asuka was always meant to fall, and it sucks being "the extra." She is Iconic, and I love seeing her fashion in official promotional materials. I ship her with Shinji Ikari. I will also occasionally ship her in a poly-ship with Shinji and Kaworu. Non-romantically, she and Hikari are best friends, and I love their dynamic. Hikari is so good to her friend, and Asuka also supports Hikari. It was a healthy relationship in the chaos, with two girls being friends. Unpopular Opinion: Asuka may occasionally be a bully, but she is not abusive. She and Shinji were always meant to be the end-game pairing, and they will always find each other and connect. Their relationship shapes so much in the series, not just their progress with Angels and defending Earth, but they affect the other characters with their emotional states too (ex End of Evangelion is a lot of Asuka and Shinji sorting out emotions and feelings and deciding to live their lives) Asuka deserved more screen time in the Rebuilds to develop her as a person with her own goals and personality. In NGE, I think it would have been great if she got a win. Any win, really. Poor Asuka :(

The Anime Binge-Watcher's Queer Anime Ship Tournament: Round 1 Results!

The first round has come to an end, and what a round it was! Huge blowouts, shocking reversals, hard choices, and many worthy opponents struck down by even worthier ones before they even got a chance to shine. This is already proving exactly as chaotic as I'd hoped, and I couldn't be more proud of y'all for it. So before we head on to round 2, here's a breakdown of how all the match-ups went and the most dramatic moments!

Most Voted Poll: Far and away the poll with the most votes was Bumbleby vs ToukoYuu, with a staggering 797 votes! No surprises there; both these ships are true all-timers with incredibly passionate fanbases who battled back and forth until the Bloomers pulled into a lead the RWBYheads just couldn't make up. But it was a well-fought battle! Second place goes to ChisaTaki vs MadoHomu with an equally impressive 698 votes, and NanoFate vs KobaTohru pulled an impressive third place with 497 votes.

Least Voted Poll: In a shock I didn't see coming, KukuFuuka vs KumiRei came in last with a measly 164 votes. I guess it's no surprise more people haven't heard of the criminally underrated Aquatope, but Kumirei??? One of the beloved gay ships in all of 2010s anime and so few people turned out for it? The mind just boggles, I tell ya. Second place goes to CocoPapi vs The Doukyuusei Boys with just 183, with AoiHina vs YukiTouya coming just behind with a 188 vote third place.

Biggest Blowout: Meanwhile, in the complete opposite of a shock, UtenAnthy absolutely demolished Ymir x Historia with a staggering 90.2% to 9.8% victory. Listen, I love my Attack on Titan girls, but they never stood a chance against one of the founding titans of queer anime love stories. Ditto poor ShamiMomo who went up against the newly crowned patron saint of anime lesbians SuleMio and got stomped 87.1% to 12.9% in second place. Compared to them, YukiTouya's third place finish against AoiHina with 74.5% to 25.5% doesn't seem like much, does it?

Closest Nail-Biter: In another big shock for me, the blowout victory I expected for NanoFate turned into the narrowest of losses against Kobayashi x Tohru, 50.5% to 49.5%- only a single percentage apart! Clearly, I underestimated how powerful the dragon lesbians have become in the years since their arrival. Kase x Yamada also just barely eked out a win against ReoMabu with a 51.2% to 48.8% second place finish. Third place went to Aoi Hana vs RekiLanga with a narrow 54.8% to 45.2% victory for RekiLanga.

As for me personally? Believe it or not, it was almost a perfect split! 9 of my picks made it through while the other 7 fell short. I'm shocked how close that ended up! Hopefully I'll have better luck in round 2, yeah? So gird your loins, everyone, cause the next round of voting will start very shortly!

Five Times NGE 2

Five Times Asuka Or Shinji Said I'm Here

1.

The first time, Asuka belted it out in German the instant Shinji stepped through the door. She felt a little bad—the poor boy jumped, dropping his bag—but she relished the surprise too.

She even enjoyed the following argument on Japanese doors, and the sudden appearance of Misato behind them didn't do more than make her jump—hush, she did not cling to Shinji in surprise.

Even if it felt nice for the moment it lasted before her fellow Pilot jumped away and apologized to her.

2.

The second time, Asuka yelled it across the comm to Shinji as he was reaching out to her, even as his Eva was pulled into the pool of shadow that was Leliel. She buried it under anger, but the fact she failed him burned in her gut until well after he'd been recovered.

3.

The third time, was after he was released from confinement after Bardiel. He trudged into the apartment, and Asuka quietly nudged him into a chair at the table and set a cup of tea in front of him.

At his surprised glance, she only shrugged.

“I'm here, Shinji.” she said softly, then crossed her arms, pretending indifference, “It wasn't your fault, and the Stooge will back me up this time. He's fine, by the way.”

When he only slumped, she bumped a chair next to him and sat so she could lean into his space.

“Stop beating yourself up, my Baka.” she huffed, pausing before offering him a smile, “Touji's fine, despite whatever program your father used.”

4.

The fourth time, Shinji was the one to speak. He'd ducked under the tape blocking access to her after the “fight” with Arael, kneeling next to her and wrapping her in a hug.

“I'm here, Asuka.” he gently turned her chin to face him, smiling at her, “We'll survive like before, right? The Great Asuka Langley Soryu and the Mighty Shinji Ikari, right?”

The fifth time, Asuka pulled him into a hug, letting him sob on her shoulder over having to kill Kaworu.

She'd heard—trapped by the boy-Angel inside her own Eva—everything that had been said. And while she was still burned by the betrayal—both in general and for Shinji—she set it aside.

Yeah I'm not surprised Shinji/Kaworu is the most popular ship nowadays. It's gay and the two are actually cute together! Too bad that NGE is allergic to Shinji's happiness so poor dude didn't even last an episode :^)

Among the main girls, Shinji and Rei have in theory the potential for a good relationship, especially if Rei forms her own identity. (well, had, before EoE)

I actually want to start this off with a quote that I think is relevant to the discussion we had on Monday.

In many parts of the world, war is a game in which the individual can win counters-counters which bring him prestige in the eyes of his own sex or of the opposite sex... The tie-up between proving oneself a man and proving this by a success in organized killing is due to a definition which many societies have made of manliness. Warfare is just an invention known to the majority of human societies by which they permit their young men either to accumulate prestige or avenge their honor or acquire loot or wives or slaves or sago lands or cattle or appease the blood lust of their gods or the restless souls of the recently dead.

We have begun to tie masculinity, violence, war together, which only leads to more dangerous men and a more dangerous world.

Shinji my poor poor boy, I'm not usually one for sympathizing with male characters (/j) but wow some of his lines just straight-up hurt. His being so happy to have been praised by his father was so heartbreaking.

It becomes clear in episode 16 that the adults are not all that worried about making sure Shinji makes it out of any situation alive, but rather that the Eva is rescued. They place the robots over the life of a human that is doing the killing for them. Despite being let down by many people in his life, Shinji continues to take the blame for everything.

The only person who is willing to protect him is his mother through the form of the Eva, she cannot protect him herself as she has been killed by her father (again showing the damage he has done to Shinji) but she can still protect Shinji as he is ultimately still innocent.

I find Asuka to be a little more relatable personally and her story is heartbreaking in every way. Having been abandoned by her parents, she doesn't feel like she can rely on anyone. So she has to be the smartest and the strongest so she never has to depend on anyone to save her, she can always save herself. She has been placing her value as a human in her ability to pilot Eva, which is why it hurts so bad when Shinji

(why do I have to suffer through this just because I'm a girl, it's not like I want children anyway... how did the Evangelion writers crawl into my head?)

Okay on to the gays!! (I'm starting to think Greg Ayres only knows how to voice gay icons). I can't imagine the pain Shinji felt in episode 24. He is has been bonded and hurt by the people who were supposed to love him, and now there is one person who claims to love him as he is but he has to kill him. He feels so hurt by the betrayal at first because it was another person who was supposed to love him and lied. Yet it wasn't really a lie, Kaworu does love Shinji, he represents a part of humanity that Kaworu cannot understand, it is something he wants to save, so he sacrifices himself for Shinji (something his father would certainly never do).

and now the confusing ending. The episodes starts with a really existential moment from Shinji where it seems they are all considering combining into one person. Shinji wonders who he would be without Eva, what truly makes him different from the people around him, and what his place in the world really is. Once he accepts that he could love himself and that his life is worth living as is, he is met with every important person in his life clapping (and then everyone clapped). I assume this was all some kind of test to get Shinji to find some self-worth and place his trust in others.

all righty here’s the update on my evangelion watch, post end of evangelion. i had to watch it on netflix cuz the place i was using before didn’t have it available, which was annoying but also it meant i got to watch it in sub cuz the other sight only had dub. there were trade offs. i may or may not watch death and rebirth, because the internet has told me it’s a retelling (?) of the first 26 episodes, and i have no access to the rebuilds, so this might be where this wild ride ends. anyway, for my review.

FIRST. technical stuff. the animation was definitely cleaner for this (movie budget yay) and there were totally some truly beautiful shots, even if you can’t really figure out what the fuck was happening in them. the japanese voice acting makes both shinji and asuka less annoying, which is appreciated, though i can’t tell if it’s a result of better voice acting or not knowing exactly what they’re saying.

SECOND. my big problem with this movie was that they kinda fucked up all the female characters. like as weird as some of the shit is in the show, this was quite a bit weirder. like for gods sake, someone give rei clothes, and im just going to pointedly ignore misato cuz i don’t even wanna talk about that. i do think asuka got a bit of a glow up, in part cuz of the voice acting improvement, but i think it just felt really good to see her win for a change. beyond that, why. what did you do to my poor gay girls.

THIRD. okay. this part is the thematic comparison. because the movie is pretty fucking different from the show. the biggest thing i noticed is that while there’s one theme that seems to be pretty much the same, the narratives seem to have completely opposite opinions on it, ie NGE ending with everyone happily experiencing instrumentality and EOE ending with them undoing it, and seeing the world in ruin. while i still didn’t really get my plot explanation (and im sure by now that i never will), EOE does do a better job of showing hot instrumentality kicks off, while NGE just kinda throws you in to the weird philosophical bullshit. (that i love). I think in general, i liked NGE better, but i wish there were another 3 or 4 episodes to develop shinjis relationship with kaworu, show his grief, and explain how instrumentality happens. AND AT FIELDS. THATS LITERALLY NOT EXPLAINED AT ALL IN NGE.

FOUR. my fourth point is kinda random, but we’re learning about theater history in my drama class rn and it’s constantly in my head cuz it’s so fucking weird. now. i haven’t actually read or researched much about this, so if there are any theater history experts here and i horrifically misportray something, im sorry. but one thing EOE really made me think of was Artaud, who’s a 20th century playwright. his whole thing was this thing called theater of pain, which is like this idea of shocking your audience and really big on like spectacle. anyways, we learned about this one play called the spurt of blood, which is like a really gory and lewd bible retelling. (can you see what i mean?) anyways, the connections.

alright then. if i understood what happened in that fucking movie better i would tell you. i would love to do a more thought out theme comparison, or look more into the religious imagery (how did i just now realize that the eva explosions are crosses?) but im tired and don’t have the energy rn. idk if this is longer or shorter than my first post, but i hope you enjoyed!

ps the movie suffered severely from its lack of a sick anime opening.
