What are your favorite camp clothes for Gale or your Tav(s)?

I put wayyy too much thought into camp clothes so I apologise if this goes on a bit. I also play PS5 so all my clothes are vanilla.

Number 1 thing I do when I first camp is put Gale in Astarion's clothes. I think we all know by now how I feel about Gale Dekarios in tight trousers and a white shirt. Astarion ends up having Gale's comfy purple jimjams on, because I think it looks funny but also because that poor tortured little guy needs to wear something soft. He's literally sleeping on a plank.

Later on in the game I usually put Gale in the Raffish Garb - dyed blue (I can't remember which blue.) My own little HC is that purple is actually more Mystra's colour than his, and after Moonrise when he defies her orders he stops wearing so much purple and wears more deep blue. I associate blue with Waterdeep. So, Gale's camp clothes and battle robes change from purple to blue.

FOR TAV - Depends on their vibe, but ones I like for them are - Minthara's camp clothes, Black Flair Leather Outfit or my personal favourite - The Angelic Scion Outfit. It all depends a bit on context. For example, in Grymforge everyone at camp is in their underwear because it's hot ( 😏 ) and I make everyone dress in fancy clothes to go to Gortash's little coronation event.

Like I said, way too much thought. Too many hours. These weirdos are my Sims.

bg3 playthrough🗡️

Visited the blighted village, looting everything i can, I have so much to sell. somehow persuaded fezzerk and the other goblins to leave without a fight, it inspired astarion. I didn’t think it would work, my rolls have been awful lol. didn’t launch barcus the gnome through the air, tempted tho. astarion didn’t approve of me not extorting barcus.. again, I was tempted but decided i didn’t want to, he said we could have his bag tho and it inspired me! we went ahead to fight the other goblin stragglers.

Recruited the ogres somehow without having to pay them in coin, but in freshly killed flesh. I found some black clothes for my nightwear, didn’t even have to find or use dye!! I will become a goth druid 🖤🌿 astarion finally came to visit me in the night…. 😏 I haven’t gave him much to approve of me, we’ve been very neutral up until now, I’m closer to shadowheart somehow, we’re a fair approval, and I’m neutral with karlach..not sure about the others I haven’t checked recently.

I love I changed astarion into my old druid clothes and gave him new nightwear, it amuses me.

the random clanging of bottles is hilarious to me it happened at weirdly timed times. it sounds like we have a invisible cow in the camp or maybe it's gale sneaking an extra nighttime quaff. If only I had audio recording you’d hear me laugh at various parts like: the awful rolls, his reactions, my tav’s reactions, and my err.. almost demise 🤭 like what were those rolls?

you can see my poor computer trying it’s best to load on its ye ol’ gfx card, I had it set to medium which is which it recommended but it was being really slow today so I reduced it to low 😭 I’m just happy I get to actually play, but I do need to upgrade 🥺

House of Hope so far:

Nam: ok last week Astarion pickpocket this book and this key of Helsik. I, foolishly, thought that this keyhole looking thing on the cover means the book itself is a portal. But then I accidentally opened it and it was just a book with a description of the ritual 🙃

Gale: can we recreate the ritual?

Nam: yes and no. Yes, bc it doesn't seem too complex, we just need a pentagram and we already saw one at Helsik's. No, bc I'm half sure that all the components we need, we already looted

Astarion: And then sold as trash

Nam: Exactly :3 Alternatively it might be in someone's backpack but we all know if that's the case it's as good as gone

Nam: yeah, but if I had to pick one right now then I would go to Luskan. This city never failed me. Once I put my entire adventuring party into a bag of holding in Shadowfell and then sorcerer cast Banishment on me. And then by random but very lucky chance we landed directly in Luskan, which was actually our next stop
