Twice the boss was defeated on the street

Both in San Francisco.

First was around 2001 summer church internship staff day in the city. Homeboy bet me ten that he could tell me where I got my shoes. A joke later famously used in the movie Poolhall Junkies - I cut him five and walked but lost face with church peoples

The second time I was doing a stretch while broke at a real estate brokers office and I grabbed a cd from an artist Hustling music like I could take it for free - and I still hear him this day just wanting to get some paper for his art - I gave it back - went to my office - grabbed my shit and bought an eighth and a couple js and quit

So weird thing but has this happened to anyone else?

You're in a small ass fandom with only like 2 fanfictions and all you wanna do is read more. But it seems like all the docs are gonna cause the fandom is old as hell so must have been deleted or fucking purged ( livejournal your fucking asshole) and then you're like 'Oh hey Wayback machine!' But then the person who has the most amount of fics has it to where you need an account to view their fics and you can't make an account cause the person has to send you a password and they're probably fucking dead cause the fandom is so fucking old!

So then you're like 'Oh maybe if I post a screenshot of the website on Tumblr someone will be like 'Oh I remember that! Here's a login so you can get some fics!' but then your chicken out cause, like, that's a stupid fucking idea.

Then you get so fucking frustrated and try to fucking hack into it only to remember you're not a fucking hacker and jeezus Christ you're a fucking 20 year old who wants to hack into someone's fucking website to read fucking fanfiction!

Cause that's been my day.
