Today was Sherri’s Doll Show, and as usual I got completely overwhelmed with the plethora of dolls to dig through, but had a great time! I managed to take a few photos to share, but the only seller I know well enough to tag is g2c_vintagetoys ‘s booth in the first photo! I was amused however to see the “very rare and expensive” Beanie Babies were still up for sale, years after I first goggled at them! 🤣 I even found a MIB G2 pony, and a Skipper fashion set I had in my childhood! Overall a super fun day!! 🥰

Along with the big group of Breyer horses, I picked up a group of random plastic animals too! My friend collects these, so she was able to tell me that these are just generic sort of knockoffs, but they remind me of the cute bagged animals I used to get as a little kid at the grocery store! 🦒

Finds from TJ Maxx! I went looking entirely for the pony makeup, and I found almost all of it, I think! I know there’s also an eyeshadow palette, but unfortunately it wasn’t there; there was only a single of each box at my local store, aside from the “Made In the 80s” lip oils. These makeup sets are by Beauty Creations, and I tried to get lots of closeup shots! I opened up the whipped lip oil, and I will say that is some VERY strong fragrance, haha! I’ve never tried lip oil before, but I guess I’ll have to now! 💋

Today was a fun day of shopping at Target, Michael’s and World Market, and here’s some of my finds! The first two are the My Little Pony Pez - on a different card! If you’ll recall, I got these from a G4 listing of Pez on Amazon, but they didn’t include Zipp! So I picked up Zipp, and lots of cute photos of other goodies, especially cute little Halloween bats, Christmas reindeer, and an Animal Crossing Mabel Lego set! I think this was free if you spent $25 at the Lego store, but she was cheap enough to impulse buy at Target! I got a picture of this Sally at World Market with @queenofsquids in mind, cuz I wondered if she was ever in the running for a potential Mega Sally custom! 🤣

I found some real treasures today at Savers!! But what did I get? Tune in tomorrow for the reveal! And… some time in the next six months when I get around to washing them. 🤣

Before we got into the Halloween excitement, I posted about these holographic “trading stickers” that I found on Hot Topic’s website, and I gotta say… not thrilled with my pulls! Two of the packs are apparently identical, which implies that the packs aren’t randomly sorted, which kinda sucks if you’re trying to collect a full set. And - sorry, who asked for a sticker that just says “Be You” with random clip art flowers? What part of that says “pony”!? I was really hoping for the card which is just photographs of the toys, instead I got Rainbow Dash as a “girl boss”? I appreciate new and exciting merch, but it feels a bit confusing to the brand! 😵‍💫 Still, Rarity’s #sassy is quite accurate. 🤣 I hope everyone in the states had a good day voting!!

This was actually a Five Below trip from AFTER my birthday, because I put in an order online for my birthday… and they didn’t have the beautiful charcoal stallion in stock! Luckily I found him IRL, as well as an orange impulse-buy friend! I thought, how often do you find an orange/peach horse? 🤣 And he’s named after a My Little Pony, Sunburst! 😝 I love his name, and his sculpt is just beautiful!! And of course after I found the Paddock Pals, I had to look at the Pokémon… if they’d had Fuecoco I’d get him too, but I was happy with Sprigatito and Quaxley! And I didn’t include the photo, but the Littlest Pet Shop was the caterpillar from yesterday! Okay I think that’s everyone!! 🐴

Ponyguru Finds! Haven’t done one of these in awhile! Today was a big day at the mall, with the holidays coming up so soon! And wow, new My Little Pony stuff at Hot Topic! Nature is healing… 🤣 Enjoy all of my cute finds!

Here she is in more detail! This is a Fortune Days doll, and a dolly friend of mine said she might have a facesculpt “borrowed” from Imomodoll. This is the “Rabbit” type 1/4 scale doll, and I found her stock photos on Amazon. She is very cute, even if her glasses don’t quite fit her face! The seller told me she’s supposed to be a ‘March Hare’ style doll, but who knows, since the seller also implied they made the doll themselves? It was a very confusing sale! 😵‍💫

Also, very good question from Lilykin, and when I was buying her I asked the seller if she had a blog or something I could follow her on. She was like, 'why?' kinda suspiciously I thought, and I had to say, 'well, so I can follow your posts ... and updates?' Because I was still assuming she was the artist who was making dolls, and not just a drop shipper! -_- Also a red flag was that she didn't take Paypal, but I didn't really think much of it at the time - lots of sellers at the event didn't take Paypal. She also said she was easy to find because 'she's been selling at this show for 12 years,' but it begs the question, if you've been selling for 12 years wouldn't you know why recasting is bad?!

Some closeups from yesterdays Savers post! I have a friend who collects little plastic animals (especially horses!), so I like to pick up any promising bags. This one was for me, though; look at those adorable little unicorns!! 🥰 And the paper punches were a big old fail, I should have tested them in the store! NONE of them can actually punch through the paper, and one seems to be missing a piece as well. Very frustrating! 😢 Ah well, at least the unicorns are cute! 😝

Hooray, I found some goodies from Savers! … on October 17th, or thereabouts. 🤣 A new Savers opened up much closer to me, and this was my very first haul! I snagged the dinosaur bag exclusively for the unicorn inside, because those are the ones I grew up with! I mostly found them at gas stations, back when you had to go inside to pay! 🦄 Most of the dinosaurs have since found a new home at the toy swap, as you’ll recall, but I did keep the more brightly colored ones! The toy section was very overpopulated with dinosaurs and cars, and very underpopulated in everything else! I picked up these two Hairdorables unicorns solely because they were the ONLY thing somewhat close to a pony! (And paid $3.49, when retail would have been $4 new… 🤣) And the Beanie Baby reindeer Rudy (and tagalong kangaroo!) called to me, as well as the Brighty of the Grand Canyon book! I thought, this is such a nice copy, it MUST be a first edition! Nah, more like tenth! 🤣 But it’s still lovely, and very well illustrated! Such a hefty, beautiful copy! All in all some great finds! 💖 And just in time for #fakiefriday ! 🥰

Today I’m on a trip, and stopped by an antique mall - the canneryrowantiquemall which is huge! These are the first ten photos of all of the goodies I found! Of course I’m looking for ponies and Breyers! 🐴 It was wild to see Breyerfest models there! 🥰

My finds from Sherri’s Doll Show! 🤩 I was very excited to find my first “starter BJD,” but if you saw my previous post you probably saw my disappointment that she came from a company that does recasts! 😢 But I primarily came to find the thrilling discount bin at g2c_vintagetoys ‘s booth, and I found her almost immediately! 🤣 I also found a bin of $2 items, and I was so excited to find the two MTM dolls (and some cute little clothes!) that I didn’t even notice one is missing a foot! 🤣 I’ve also never owned an Integrity Toys doll before, but finding two bodies at a good price (I think!?) meant I had to take the plunge! Now to put some lovely play line 90s Barbie heads on them! 🤣 I also found some very cute Littlest Pet Shop fairies(from the same BJD seller who let me have them for free!), and my first Magic Mixies Pixling doll! Overall it was a very exciting day, and I was happy for all of the goodies I found! 🥰

Garage sale finds! It’s a bit funny, taking photos from a neighborhood garage sale that only a couple days later would be evacuated for a wildfire. 😵‍💫 Kinda surreal! (But good news, their mandatory evacuation was lifted!) I got each item from a different house, although the birthday ribbon and book came together! The bag of random craft supplies was only a buck, and I couldn’t help but wonder, what kind of crafts did she make? I was thinking scrapbooking, maybe like some wedding crafts! I appreciated the six whole glue sticks that came with the glue gun, and the surprise message in the back of the book! 🤣

Today’s episode is called “these probably won’t fit ponies but by God, we’re gonna try.” 🤣 My sister very kindly picked these up for me when she went to Disneyland this summer, and I didn’t get a chance to play with them for months! They are sooo cute, and she very kindly texted me lots of photos so I could pick my favorites! I feel like that Tiana beret would look great on a big brother pony, right!? Maybe someday I’ll remember to get photos of that! 🤣 Thank you sister!! 💖
