German Scientists Discover Plastic-Eating Fungi Scientists in Germany have discovered fungi that can eat plastic when there are no other carbon sources available. Out of 18 fungal strains tested, four were particularly effective at consuming plastics. These fungi showed a strong ability to degrade polyurethane, a type of plastic found in construction foam. However, they took longer to break down polyethene, which is used in plastic bags and packaging. The fungi struggled most with microplastics from tyres, mainly due to the presence of heavy metals and other additives. While these findings are promising, scientists caution that using fungi alone won't solve the global plastic problem, as their ability to degrade plastic depends on specific conditions like temperature and nutrient availability.

This is the 2008 Yellow Flotsam Neopets Plush & Glowing Talking 2003 Noil Plush with New AAA batteries which is pretty neat.
Both these plushies are super soft in feel and the Noil petpet face cheeks glows red and makes little noises.
The 2008 No Code Flotsam Keyquest Neopets Yellow Plush and 2003 Noil Glowing Talking Plushies are both in good used condition but may have wear, the Yellow Flotsam has a neon yellow hang tag dangler on the left side of the head, ware on the eyes, lint, tush tag word fading, tush tag ware, the voice box on the Noil lion petpet sounds great but I will keep up to date if the voice box changes, both of the plushies have neopets on the left second paw on the Noil lion petpet and on the left side of the Yellow Flotsam tail, strings loose on the Noil petpet plush, and strings showing on the tail fin on the yellow Flotsam.
I added new AAA batteries to this with the Noil plush.
The 2008 No Code Flotsam Keyquest Neopets Yellow Plush and the 2003 Noil Glowing Talking Plushies both do have a tush tags but not a hang tags or the plastic packaging.
The 2008 No Code Flotsam Keyquest Neopets Yellow Plush is 9 inches but doesn't talk and the 2003 talking Noil Lion Petpet plush is 8 inches from nose on face to tail tip.
Both the Yellow Flotsam Neopets and Noil Glowing Talking Plushies doesn’t have the code hang tags but both do have tush tags.

- Eider down is the feathers from Eider ducks. Pretty sure you can't harvest them without harming the bird. Memory foam and other polyurethanes need to be made less flammable and give off less toxic chemicals.
- throw away culture, non-biodegradable packaging, more processed foods than farm stand (ie frozen corn in a bag or canned corn instead of on the cob)
- you spend time every day in there and food prep splashes, sprays, drips, dribbles, and crumbs.
- pollen, air pollution, but the majority is from natural exfoliation. It's all you, baby!
