Look at this adorable little frog sticker from @sofftpunk! This is the only poly one I could find, but there's lots of other queer stuff at their shop,featuring a lot of identities I don't often see!

ROBOCAR POLI MERCH

After months, I finally come back from my slumber with a random and short post. The (some) merch for this show is beyond expensive… I know most popular IPs have this issue and I expect it by now but it doesn’t mean it is any less annoying. I’ve seen shirts that cost a whopping 88 leva (which is 50 dollars in the USA) which is insane for a shirt with Poli’s face half-heartedly printed on it.

The toys are even worse. There are some that are somewhat justifiable (including the die cast for the Robocar Poli toys, which are just one toy for the cost of 16 leva (9 dollars)), Then there are the outrageous ones such as 312 leva (176 dollars) for a model of the RCP’s base… The resellers are making bank from desperate people, I see…

Add international shipping to all of this and you would be lurking in the streets. I don’t even know how some people are able to afford these. I know there might be some merch that are at a reasonable price, it’s just that I keep coming across a lot that cost an arm and a leg.

This is also how I find out that there are limited 10th anniversary gold variants for the rescue team, which cost 72 leva (41 dollars). For a collector’s item (I assume) I don’t mind it.

I guess bootlegs are the way to go (I am joking).

Idk if I mentioned here, but I'm changing some stuff abt my pillow merch process. Some changes that'll likely b coming to my pillow merch is:

sewn by me lol......... (instead of manu'd pillow cases)

full-size pillows stuffed with cotton instead of polyfil (ideally..... my test cotton comes in today so we'll see how well i like it)

pillow charms stuffed with recycled shredded fabric instead of polyfil

potentially smaller size diameter for full-size pillows (14 inch instead of 16 inch 🥲)

Bc of these changes i may need to increase the price of my full size pillows... idk I'm working it out. If I'm ok w the small size I should b able to keep them at $35 USD, but otherwise I'll need to bump them up to $40+ USD. more info on that in the future.

I ordered test fabric prints for the pillows recently, and those should b coming in soon so I can make some experimental pillows/charms... hoping everything goes smoothly. I'll likely do updates here and on my other socials lol

a lot of ppl seem not to like the original poly flag (with the pi symbol) I've seen like 3 or 4 redesigns held up as the standard one and like. Idk. Like first of all they're not. Second of all I like the original it's unique (I think we should being back lil symbols on flags like the bear and leather ones) and also third I've never seen a redesign that wasn't embarrassingly ugly
