do ppl rlly do not know how to make fanmixes anymore........

#shh it's a vent post#but out of curiosity i clicked on three random playlists#one of them had fifty songs#ALL of them had the mains of taylor swift and adele in multiple songs in succession#one of them was over a hundred songs long#....the lost art of fanmix curating...that's not a fanmix anymore it's something else!!#u pick anywhere between twelve to twenty carefully handpicked songs with the lyrics#and the mood flowing into the next and also#make a lovely mix cover to match with it#qserasera storytime#also this post does recognize that yea they can do that they can make a mix that only works for them but it's different from like...a more#polished??? slightly more intentional mix made to share with others so like idk idk
