Plot:

Welcome to our blog!

We're the Lovecat System, and yes we took our name from the song by The Cure. We are bodily 19 and male, but our headmates exhibit a whole range of genders, pronouns, and ages. In general when you are referring to us as a collective you may use they/them in an explicitly plural way, but he/him is generally fine as it's the body's gender and our host uses he/him.

Other collective things to know about us? We really like cats. As our system name suggests. We have a black cat named Sausage, she's our baby.

Our preferred terminology for each person in our system is "headmates." "agents" is fine as well, or just calling us "people." "brain guys" if you're silly. Please do not refer to us as "parts," "personalities," or "alters." If you have questions about this or our plurality in general, we are willing to answer. Just please be respectful.

This blog is used by all of us, but mostly by our host, Lex. He mostly posts X-Men content, so we consider this to be an X-Men blog.

Each headmate has their own tag, except for Lex. Our tags are essentially just #[name]posting. when you see a post tagged with a tag such as: #darknessposting, you can generally assume that "darkness" is the name of the headmate who is fronting when we reblogged this post. The only tag this does not apply to is our #kittyposting tag. We do not have a headmate named Kitty, we just made that tag a long time ago before we created this system. It's just our tag for cats.

It’s Star Trek OC time again!

(Sort of!)

This is Ensign Polina Andreievna Chekova. She’s a genderbent version of Pavel Chekov from Star Trek TOS.

A few things about her.

Usually goes by the diminutive form of her name, Polya.

Prefers to keep her hair short and wear a men’s uniform. But also enjoys more “girly” things as well.

A transporter accident strands her in the prime universe, where she meets Chekov. The two hit it off right away, and have a nice brother/sister dynamic.

Was raised by her grandparents in Russia.

No siblings, at least not from her own universe.

Autistic and ADHD.

As far as love interests go, she only likes girls. My headcanon is that Chekov (who I’ll be also referring to as Polya’s brother) likes both girls and guys and any other genders.

She and her brother have similar tastes in girls.

Thinks she knows how to flirt. She does not.
