Assisi (Umbria). Fountain of the three lions. City Hall square. Here they want to stop the angels. The fountain occupies the eastern side of the square. The lower basin is divided into nine sides and is adorned with three lions that allude to the three urban districts. Already in the year 1303 there is news of a superior fountain of the Municipality. In 1467 it was rebuilt by Polimante.
