Meet my 'Guard dog.'
Any other police officer: "Get out the German Shepards! We have a runner!"
Vanessa locates 2 suspecting robbers lurking around the Pizza plex, jumping over the prize boxes to steal some cash. Vanessa makes a loud whistle from her lips, that alerts the robbers from behind the counter, then makes a run for it.
Then suddenly, quick metallic crawling quickly scurries up, and above the ceiling to chase on after the 2 robbers, then with a smirk on Vanessa's face, Vanessa catches up to Moon shouting.
"GO GET EM MOON! GET EM!"
Moondrop: "Hehehehehehehehehe!"

Dark!Police officer!Aegon & Dark!Police officer!Aemond would so definitely find out everything about y/n on their police records, everytime y/n gets arrested for thing they are the ones picking her up and arresting her,
yesss and everytime they pull her up… same deal, she either fucks them or she spends the night in a cell & tbh she kinda starts to deliberately act up just so they can punish her 🤭🤭🤭

The Alarming Trend of Witness Apathy in America

The Alarming Trend of Witness Apathy in America
In recent years, a disturbing phenomenon has emerged in the United States, where bystanders often fail to intervene or report incidents of crime, sexual assault, theft, discrimination, and other forms of wrongdoing. This trend of witness apathy has raised concerns about the erosion of empathy and community values in American society. One of the primary reasons for this apathy could be the fear of getting involved or facing consequences. Many individuals hesitate to intervene, fearing retaliation, legal repercussions, or simply not wanting to get entangled in a potentially complicated situation. This fear is often exacerbated by the increasing polarization and division within society, leading people to prioritize their own safety and interests over the well-being of others. Another factor contributing to witness apathy is the desensitization caused by constant exposure to violence and trauma through media and social platforms. The relentless stream of news about crimes, abuse, and injustice can lead to emotional numbing, making it more challenging for individuals to empathize with victims or feel compelled to take action. The bystander effect, a psychological phenomenon where individuals are less likely to help in a group setting, also plays a significant role in witness apathy. When surrounded by others, people often assume someone else will take responsibility or intervene, leading to a diffusion of responsibility and inaction. Furthermore, the rise of social media has created a culture of armchair activism, where individuals may feel they are contributing to a cause by simply sharing or liking a post, rather than taking tangible action. This can lead to a false sense of involvement and a lack of genuine engagement with the issues. The consequences of witness apathy are far-reaching and devastating. Victims of crimes and abuse may feel abandoned, silenced, or ignored, exacerbating their trauma and suffering. Moreover, unchecked wrongdoing can perpetuate a culture of impunity, emboldening perpetrators and undermining trust in institutions and communities. To combat witness apathy, it is essential to foster a culture of empathy, community, and collective responsibility. This can be achieved through education, awareness campaigns, and initiatives that promote active bystander engagement. By encouraging individuals to take small steps, such as reporting incidents or offering support to victims, we can create a ripple effect of positive change.
Ultimately, breaking the cycle of witness apathy requires a fundamental shift in societal values, prioritizing compassion, courage, and collective action. By acknowledging the harm caused by inaction and promoting a culture of engagement, we can work towards a more just, empathetic, and supportive society for all. This is a be big challenge that Generation Z's will have to address now and the forceable future as social media also progress with new technology..
