Secrets Under The Misltoe: Part 1 ( Because I can)

*PLEASE READ*  - Authors note: Hello everyone!I just wanted to say a few things before I get started . This my first time writing any kind of fan-fiction,so I just wanted to say sorry in advance if it isn't any good.I hope to get better as the story goes on.This is just a little idea i had been brainstorming for awhile now and I think you'll like it(and if you have any suggestions or critique please feel free to share!) . Aslo,I know it's not Christmas time okay!But I think right now we all need a little Christmas spirit, so shut up.

It was a normal sunny day in Alola......well except for the fact that  Christmas was only two days away.And while everyone else in the region was at home with their families, decorating their trees,finishing up their Christmas lists,and watching iconic movies,their was one house in Alola, that was crawling with chaos.And that was a little beach house right by the shore. The home of professor Kukui and Burnett.

"FINALLY!",professor Kukui exclaimed as he closed a big suitcase that was filled to the brim with both their clothes and essentials."I thought it might never close!",he sighed in relief as he plopped the big case on the floor."Well it sure wasn't easy finding winter clothes in Alola,but somehow we managed."This made professor Burnett(who was just ending a phone call) chuckle,as she recalled how hard it really was to find those clothes.The two of them had to search for WEEKS just to find enough to wear for the trip. But honestly they couldn't be mad,after all in a island where it's summer year round,winter clothes aren't exactly what you'd call common.

"So,who were you calling anyway",Kukui asked curious to whom his wife was discussing with."Oh ,well I was just checking up on Hobbes to see how close they were to the house."she replied.You see, When word got out that the professors were going to spend their Christmas in Kanto to surprise Ash ,it caught the attention of Gladion and Lille ,and they asked if the two could tag along. Ether way, they didn't have much to do in Alola,as their mother was completely engulfed in her work,even on holidays(much to their annoyance) and they hadn't seen ash since he left a couple months back,so it seemed like a good idea.And obviously,the professors both agreed,seeing as they new why both of them would ask.

"Well,are they almost here?",Kukui inquired,as they had to leave soon if they were going to make the flight."Yes!,Hobbes said they should be here any minute",his wife replied sweetly.And just as she finished, a black limo pulled up to the front of their house.And just as quickly, two children emerged from the back door ,Lille and Gladion. As Hobbes went to the trunk to receive the children's luggage the professors found this as a good time to greet the two.So they both walked outside to say hello."Gladion!,Lille!,so nice to see you two!,Burnett exclaimed."Oh, professors,we were just about to go inside",Lille said,somewhat surprised that the professors came to them."Well,are you two ready to go?",Kukui asked,as he was very eager to be on time , as  he very much missed ash (even if he wouldn't admit it),and the last thing he wanted was to miss his flight.Just then Hobbes had placed the two suitcases on the ground next to each of the children."Well I guess we are now" ,Gladion joked."But I do wanna thank you two again for letting us tag along,"The boy added politely.

"No need to thank us",professor Kukui said ,trying to comfort the young boy,who obviously seemed to feel a little bad for asking to join, after all it was their vacation."The more the merrier!",Burnett said happily ,as she also saw Gladion's discomfort.This made Gladion a little more comfortable,since it really did seem like the professors  didn't mind to much at all.But he still felt off,actually he had been feeling off for a while .Ever since the day their plane tickets were purchased,and he new they were going to spend their holiday with Ash,there had been this weird feeling in his stomach,like nothing he had ever felt before,and come to notice it ,the more he thought about Ash in general, the more this feeling grew inside him.Was he nervous?,excited maybe?.He couldn't put his finger on what he was feeling,and that annoyed him.But ultimately,he pushed his thoughts and feelings down ,as he didn't want to bother anyone.

And by the time he had finished ignoring all the weird stuff that was happening.The professors and Lille were all ready in the car ready to go."Hey Gladion ,you coming?" hie sister shouted from the back seat." Uh,yea" ,he plainly replied and hopped into the seat next to her .Thankfully he was able to keep his feelings in for the entirety of the ride to the airport.But little did he know that very soon those same strange feelings would creep up on him again , and this time they would come with a punch.......
