He let his head fall back to gently bump against hers, a heavy sigh slipping out as stared at the ceiling; his mother’s health had stagnated for quite some time, so he’d fooled himself into thinking she’d be alright... But all good things ended eventually.

“... I hope so, Bella. Perhaps... Perhaps this is just a temporary hiccup...”

He couldn’t ignore how little confidence his words held.

Marcel blinked, hearing him refuse to give her a kiss so she frowned. Now who was being the sour puss? She rolled her eyes and folded her arms under her chest, trying so hard not to be since she had genuinely wanted a kiss. “ Fine” she said waving her hand a little bit and turning. “ Since you want to be like that then I DON’T want a kiss” she huffed and started walking off. Usually she put up more of a fight but she gave up so easily. So he would have thought! The second she left the room and he let his guard down she darted for him like he was a piece of meat and attacked! “ MWRAAARRR!!” she wailed before jumping on him and wrapping her arms around him and grinning. A lion catching its prey. “ Stop being a meanie~” she purred, gently pressing her lips against his and sighing through her nose…he could feel the vibrations from her purring.

“ …Mmmm you taste like grease and hardwork…were you working on your bike today? I feel like I haven’t seen you all day~” she spoke softly, her tail flicking behind her happily.

As Marcel began to walk out of his room, Roger grinned and leaned back on his wall. Had it been anyone else calling him these things, he would have picked a fight... Not that he hadn’t picked a fight with her for it before, but this time... It was different. Now, she was the only one allowed to call him names without him readying his fists. She was allowed to do many things no one else did. 

When she exited the door, he closed his eyes... and began to count. 3....2.....1....

And there she was! Roger didn’t move from his spot, but instead, as soon as she clung to him, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and letting out a chuckle. 

“I’m a monster. What do you expect? Me being a lovebird?” He laughed a bit, moving to the sofa in his room, and dragging her down with him. He let himself fall, and was ready to catch her if she didn’t fall on the couch or on him. 

“I been working all fucking day. Don’t know where the boss went, but he took Cole and Chika along. Now i’m just here wasting my god damn time.” He said, looking at her and calming down a bit. “ ‘least with you here, it won’t be so boring to stay n’ watch the place, eh? What you been doin’ all day?”

[Jayden jumped a bit when arms wrapped around him. He recognized the voice though even if it was slurred. Giving a slight chuckle, he turned around to face her] HeeEY Abbie?! Oh I was just out and about haha. What’re you doing out here?? And uhh, drunk? [He kept his hands on her shoulders to keep her steady, smiling at her in amusement]
