So... A little late from when I meant to post this, as I did intend to keep it in line with the roughly 2 day gap between each of the other uploads, but as any fellow Pokemon fan would know... Scarlet and Violet released on the 18th. Yeah, I spent all of my time there.

Anyways, back on point, today we’re back with

The Frontier Brains of Sinnoh!

Once more their icons take colors from the official artwork, with mild edits.

With their background colors I took from the color they’re represented by on the Battle Frontier’s logo.

And of course, despite Darach being the Frontier Brain, not Caitlin, I decided to include her as well due to her inclusion in his battle sprite and later importance in Generation 5.

As of now, I have no more icons pre-prepped for upload, so there may be a longer gap between uploads.

What’s next? Well, there’s one last set of characters from Sinnoh’s main cast, then I have some lesser named characters and movie characters planned! So stay tuned!

Some preliminary designs for Anabel & Thorton's (and Dulse's) family!

Carola (left) is Dulse/Anabel/Thorton but is primarily raised by Dulse and considers her other two parents more like an aunt & uncle. Growing up mainly in Ultra Megalopolis, but exposed to Earth culture from a young age, she has a love of the other world's media, especially video games, as well as pokémon.

Cardea (right) is Anabel/Thorton's daughter, born when the two of them are around 40. Anabel uses her maternity leave as an easing out for Interpol, fully retiring when Cardi is a toddler. She then becomes the Sinnoh Battle Frontier's manager (not unlike Scott's job). Cardea grew up entirely in Sinnoh and loves the outdoors, giving guided hikes of Mt. Coronet in the summer and working Search & Rescue for the mountain in the winter alongside her Skarmory. She's seen some things...

ok. May is almost over but please assign your fave trainers a mermaid tail based on a fish pokemon or just fish in general. What would Thorton be.

ooooh i love this question a lot i love thinking about this kinda stuff!!!

-i'll start off with Thorton for you, i admittedly took a bit to think of one for him but i my brain associates him with steel and electric types due to his technology theming so i could possibly see Lanturn being fitting?

now to pick out some of my favorite characters because i have SO many characters in this franchise im obsessed with

- i've already done Milotic Wallace of course haha

-Grimsley is very easy for me i've had the idea of him as some sort of Sharpedo merman in my head for AGES now definitely influenced by the mega Sharpedo that's paired with his synga suit

-Giacomo i would probably assign as a Carvanha personally as i headcanon him as Grimsley's nephew and i think it's fitting for him as well

-Burgh there's not a lot of water/bug pokémon for me to pick from with him so i'm inclined to make him a Bruxish for its color palette as i think it'd fit his outgoing personality and job as an artist

-Morty uses a Jellicent in one of his world tournament battles in B2W2 and i definitely think he could fit the deep sea jellyfish vibe

-Eusine i'm mostly going on vibes but i could possibly see him as a Gorebyss perhaps? i'm really not sure (the primary water type he's associated with isn't a fish pokemon unfortunately) but given his dialogue about the how beautiful and graceful Suicune is i could see him as a water type with some elegance with it.

-Silver i would say a Gyarados would be appropriate, both because he has one in the manga but also because of his connection to Lance and the shiny Gyarados in the Lake of Rage

i'll cut myself off here to keep this post from getting too long but if you have additional characters you'd like to hear my thoughts on i'd be happy to oblige!
