Hey everyone, @pikafan09 here, and I drew Selene wearing the Partner Cap, and clothes that’ll fit for my partner cap. Why? Because Selene could be like this when she subsitutes for my OC whenever he’s sick or badly injured.

Reason for this is:

1. The partner cap I got from the Zarude event I ordered from Amazon.com inspired me to draw this.

2. WillDinoMaster’s drawing of Emily taking Will’s place for battle also inspired me to do this.

Green Bean is small dinosaur like creature with light green fur, a white belly, and squinty eyes. I got him as a sort of early valentines gift from a friend.

Thought I'd reblog just to give more detail bc why not!

Shiny Teddiursa: a rescue they found all alone! It imprinted on them and it can be a little clingy! Even when its not in battle it likes to hold on to Yume and have them carry it around. Their working on having it in a pokeball a little bit more each time. Natu: A pokemon that is believed to see glipses of the future! (And its evolved form is constantly paralyzed in fear over that future, it relates to Yume's unoffical unique magic so I added them to the team!) Absol: "Although it's said to bring disaster, in actuality, this Pokémon possesses a calm disposition and warns people of any crises that loom." "Because of this Pokémon's ability to detect danger, people mistook Absol as a bringer of doom". Yume's Absol is named Soteria, after the greek goddess of safety and salvation, deliverance, and preservation from harm

Munna: is actually a pokemon not used for battle but rather to help Yume sleep! "This Pokémon appears before people and Pokémon who are having nightmares and eats those dreams."

Pumkaboo: (To be honest I just think their cute. But their description also makes me think of Yume's character in a way.) "It is said to carry wandering spirits to the place where they belong so they can move on."

Staryu: This fits Yume's star motif. Now they can have an actual Starfishie by their side (Floyd would love it!)

Honestly I sorta have a overall plot for this au. But its mostly just for giggles rn.

I have other plot points to like:

STYX being the team rocket of the au

Idia being Yume's "rival", but its not know to Yume that Idia is involved with STYX until later

Yume is pokemon trainer, Yuuta is pokemon breeder in training, and Yuuhi participates in contests!

Ortho being a ghost pokemon, Rotem, that inhabits Idia's custom pokedex

A main plot point is Idia trying to find a way to "restore" his brother back to normal.

The dorm leaders would be the gym leaders all with their own kind of gimmicks/types. (For example: Diasomnia is both Dragon/Fairy type and very strong. But their actually gym leader (Malleus) isn't ever there so the subsitute is the old Gym leader (Lilia))

The elite four is the staff of NRC!

Grim is a strange shiny Blue Litten who can talk like Meowth!

Me and Bun were talking about a pokemon au and I got the urge to draw this. It was hard to imitate the style and there are parts I don't like about it, but hey, they can't all be bangers! And its still cute!

They have a shiny Teddiursa they rescued, it reminds them of their brother Yuuta!

Garchomp is one of my favorite Pokémon. What should I know about raising it? From an egg? Wild?

Garchomp shouldn’t be caught in the wild generally- most pseudo-legendaries shouldn’t. Catch it as a Gible or raise it from an egg.

If you have a Gible, you need a wide sandy area for burrowing with very distinctive borders. Garchomp are territorial, and possibly the fiercest out of all the pseudo-legendaries at defending its little plot. They start early, and will bite at any other Pokémon that dare come near its kingdom. Begin training right away so it recognizes friend from foe, and make sure you don’t allow children or young Pokémon near during this phase.

The Gible line is also carnivorous, and needs plenty of meat to grow large and strong. In the wild, they feed on Sandshrew mostly. In domesticity, any rodent Pokémon can be subsituted, including Yungoos, Patrat and Rattata. Throwing in some vitamins in with there too might help, to ensure a thick, tough scale cover and good eyesight.
