A piece of my oc's lore.

---

Once upon a time. Pokémon and human had a difficult time working together, as the darkness that had fallen upon the world took over.

Standing up against the pain caused by human, certain Pokémon decided to go against this predicament. Sadly, their powers were useless against them. You see, Pokémon attacks only work well against other Pokémon as they're created with a magical element core. Humans aren't and so attacks don't hurt them as much as they should.

Because of this, the future of Pokémon kind started to look grim, and so they started praying. "Help us all. We can't live like this." The mighty Arceus hearing the prays decided to intervene as the gods above started to cause a ruckus. "They're all destroying harmony!" The one yelled. "We need to do something!" The other whined.

"Silence!" Arceus yelled, causing the uproar to die down.

"Everyone will have to live together." he said in might. "And so. I have decided. There will be humans with Pokémon traits. They will cause a bridge between the species and so bring peace to the land."

And so the Pokégijinka's where created. Their mask still representing the core of their soul and the creature they would've lived as otherwise.
