A small comic with Poe and Scrooge that took me a month to finish… Mostly because I got too ambitious with the composition and then I had the idea of actually making some backgrounds, so it’s not hard to figure out why XDD

The context for this? Not much really. I just wanted to try writing a scene that would showcase how I imagine their dynamic…Obviously, there’s not much to go off for Poe because of his small screen time, so I like to portray him as this dark, calculating and mysterious sorcerer to contrast with Scrooge’s more straight forward and grumpy attitude. I more or less imagine this taking placing in the present, as a possible scenario of what would happen if Poe was brought back, though :p

Also, did the tea actually had poison? I’ll leave that up to you…👀👀

So…How do I explain this? XD it’s an idea that has been haunting my mind for a good while now: Basically, Poe manages to turn back to normal but instead of feeling an immense hate towards Scrooge…he falls madly in love for ^^^reasons in the translation above. I know it’s pretty silly, but I just thought it would be funny for Scrooge to have an enemies-to-lovers ship with Poe, previously a funny talking raven turned into a Tumblr Sexy Man, of all people. And considering that there’s already a ship between Scrooge and Magica, then why not do it with her brother too? xd

Speaking of her, I’ve made this other drawing of her reaction to that scene:

Inspired by people’s support and comments on my last drawing, I decided to draw these two once again! I’m still figuring out their dynamic, but here it’s following the idea of Poe down bad for Scrooge and trying to get him to join the dark side, while Scrooge is just like “…no thanks”. Just because I think it’s pretty amusing xD

This is also when I realized that this ship wasn’t a joke for me anymore and that it was starting to become serious…I should have seen that coming to be honest lmao. So come join me in shipping hell with this crack pairing that I still need to think of a proper name😈
