when people think about mondstadt, it is a busy place in their mind's eye. the people are always hustling and bustling about, led by the carefree wind to their new destination and the city centre, with its buzzing marketplace, only serves to reinforce this stereotype.

everyone knows someone here; a friend of a friend, a brother-in-law’s sister, a colleague from work. the crowds throng and you find yourself following them, trailing like a directionless anemo crystalfly on the wind.

you crane your neck, searching for familiar faces, and you spot many. swann and huffman, the latter stuffing his face with mushroom skewers whilst the former simply watches, sarah and donna hand-in-hand with flowers in their hair, librarian lisa minci who catches your eye and gives you a sly wink.

yet none of those people convince to to stay and chat. you move onwards.

after a few moments you stop near the statue of barbatos, feet aching. your wanderings have taken the better part of an hour, and you solemnly munch on one of diona’s non-alcoholic specialties, mondstadt grilled fish, to get your energy back up. he said he would be here… but of course, he’s always fashionably late, no matter how much it irks you.

your eyes wander the crowd, idly looking for a glimpse of blue hair, when you spot a single diamond-shaped pupil glinting at you from the shadows under the eves of houses. you try to call out to him, surprised, and end up choking on your food.

when you look at kaeya again, a smile rests upon his face—not one of his sleek, catlike ones reserved for company but one that is gentle and soft. feeling flustered against your better judgment, you turn your head away, then curse yourself for that.

"might i ask what a pretty thing like you is doing, all by your lonesome~?" kaeya smirks, showing a glint of wicked-sharp teeth.

"waiting for someone," you deadpan. "but it looks like he isn't going to show up."

"you wound me, darling," kaeya says with a mock-hurt expression. still, there's a sparkle to his eye (singular) that can oft be found when the two of you are engaged in your usual banter. "i'm here now, aren't i? doesn't that count for something?"

"i suppose," you agree.

"shall we?" he offers you his arm, and you pretend to think it over. he shoves your shoulder affectionately, and you smile.

"we shall."

hi reze it's me your favourite jesrat but anyways i saw your reblog about jungkook being princess diana reincarnated . and i happen to know about that, no i do not stan bts, i just stumbled upon it one day and was really fascinated. it's hilarious. here we go the main thing here is that jungkook was born the day after princess diana died (1 sep 1997 and 31 aug 1997 respectively, no i do not know this by heart i had to google it) another thing is that some aspect of jungkook's birth chart indicates that he was a royal or at least associated with royals in his past life there was also this whole thing about how on the day queen elizabeth died, jungkook was very very sleepy on live (the man is allowed to feel sleepy randomly especially with how overworked idols are but go off i guess) one fact i found funny. is that princess diana apparently once almost set the palace on fire trying to work a microwave. and jungkook is scared of microwaves

more points are that they both shared a love for music and dance, etc etc more interests. also they shared the same mbti and they were the same height. that's all i can remember off the top of my head im sure theres more somewhere lol but have fun i love myself a good conspiracy theory even if i dont necessarily believe in it

man. this is so interesting. im invested. deeply interested in how kpop/bts fans first came up w this theory like. who went ahead and said jungkook (??) was princess diana. and who bothered to dig up information that could prove this right.
