Generation 1 is now finished with all goals completed! I'll miss the gang but onto our next pack, Get Together! Serenity ( to no shock ) is the heir for our next generation.

Rowan & River Grew up! Green is the ever rambunctious River and glasses is the disciplined Rowan. Twins who are so similar, but so different in other ways!

Rowan & River both made Llamacorn, so every child is now eligible as an heir. Serenity, the teen she is, is very over the whole scouts thing by now.

The Family camping trip for when Serenity is a teen, she's now the first child to have visited Granite falls at every life stage prior to becoming a Young Adult and so now eligible for heir! Lexi also finished the final bug and fish collection for this generation, grabbing the dragon Dragonfly last!

Lexi and Gunther finally tied the knot! In true 'let's get on with it' style ( and honestly it feels very 'them' to get married suddenly while on their final camping trip with their eldest daughter. )They snuck away for a quiet moment after it was all finalised.

House updates! Serenity's room got a teen makeover ( it's probably a little too girly for her I admit ) and we updated 'The Wall'. The downstairs bathroom got a makeover, as did the upper one. The dining room was expanded to be...well a real dining room and I added a laundry and small corner studio for Lexi to do photoshoots. Originally Lexi was going to save up to purchase a private photo studio, however after saving it all, it became apparent that if she did she would then spend way too much time off the lot so instead she expanded the house for something more cosy but professional.

This was a first! Lexi ran off to do some goal getting on her generational ambitions and got struck by lightning, twice! After showering in the Hermit's shack she was ready to wield her new ( temporary ) powers!

Gunther has had a lot of character development since the kids, and playing with his whims, he took up a new fitness hobby, expanded his wall garden to the entire side porch, quit his job as a writer to become a teacher and aged up into an Adult - I can't believe they were both still young adults this whole time! I think that makes him a bit younger than Lexi.

The two Generation 1 founders are still doing well and I enjoy playing with them both, when decorating I focus mostly on Lexi's nature-esque but instagrammable aesthetics. As the founder she gets her way and Gunther is a romantic pushover - always has been. Their dynamic continues to be supportive of each other though and Gunther still gets his own space.

As always, I love my sims interacting and Lexi putting Rowan to bed while River rejects her family hug is classic both of them. I've never actually had a toddler be too uncomfortable to want the interaction.

In a massive 3 days of Birthdays, Lexi aged into an adult, The twins aged into Children and Serenity aged into a teen! Rather than throw individual parties Lexi and Gunther planned one big party for everyone who was aging up. It's the largest sims party I've had and the most birthdays all at once. i was excited to see all the new transitions!

Serenity has been a good kid so far, and is best friends with both the Goth kids. I'd love to see her and one of them hook up and her take over Bella's place as lady of the Goths. It might be a playthrough I do if she's not heir. Speaking of which, Serenity also made Llamascout during this playtime so she's an official candidate for heir of generation 2. She gets straights As but because of the twins I haven't focused on her too much.
