Triple Talaq why not in Pak,Egypt?- PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (June 27) reacted to the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the opposition meeting for the first time. PM Modi had come to participate in the 'Mera booth, strongest' program organized in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Here he spoke on many issues while addressing the BJP workers. During this, BJP National President JP Nadda and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were present with him. Let us tell you the big things of PM's address. >PM Modi said that the land of Madhya Pradesh has played a big role in making BJP the biggest political party. Today I have got the opportunity to flag off 5 Vande Bharat trains connecting 6 states of the country. I congratulate the people of Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra for the connectivity of this modern Vande Bharat train.
>He said that the biggest strength of BJP is all of you workers. You are not only BJP, you are not only a party, you are also strong soldiers for the accomplishment of the country's resolutions. For every worker of BJP, the interest of the country is paramount, the country is bigger than the party. On the completion of 9 years of the central government, information about the programs being organized across the country and the hard work you people (workers) are doing in it is continuously reaching me. Even when I was in America and Egypt, I used to get continuous information about your efforts. It is more pleasant for me to meet you people after returning from there, it is enjoyable. >The PM said that today I am addressing 10 lakh workers working at the booth together. Perhaps in the history of any political party, such a big programme would never have been organized at the grass root level in a systematic way, as big as it is happening here today. Hunger in the heart of the worker to do extra work. This is a great power. India will develope only when the villagea will develope. For this, even small efforts can show a big impact like- how to make our village green, how to increase solar, how to inculcate the habit of solar energy. How to receive help from banks. >The Prime Minister said that BJP workers should think that no child will drop out in my booth. Be it son or daughter, everyone will be cent percent educated. This service will also take place and BJP's work will also be completed. BJP workers are not one of those who sit in aircondition rooms and run parties and issue fatwas. We are the people who go from village to village and spend ourselves among the public in every weather and every situation. He said that the major strength of BJP is all of you workers. > You are not only BJP, you are not only a party, you are also strong soldiers for the accomplishment of the country's resolutions. For every member of BJP, the interest of the country is supreme, the country is bigger than the party. On the completion of 9 years of the central government, information about the programs being organized across the country and the hard work you people (workers) are doing in it is continuously reaching me. Even when I was in America and Egypt, I used to get continuous information about your hard work. It is more pleasing for me to meet you people after come back from there, it is pleasant. This service will also take place and BJP's work will also be completed. BJP workers are not one of those who sit in aircondition rooms and run parties and issue fatwas. We are the people who go from village to village and spend ourselves among the public in every weather and every situation. >The PM said that some people survive only for their own party, want to do fine to the party and they do all this because of sharing of corruption, commission, cut money. The path he has chosen does not require much effort and this is the path of appeasement. On one hand, there are such people who make small clans stand against others for their selfishness by doing appeasement and on the other hand we are the people of BJP. Our rites are different, our resolutions are big and our priority is the country before the party. >On the issue of triple talaq, he said that whoever talks in favor of triple talaq, whoever advocates it. Those people who are hungry for vote not doing justice to Muslim daughters. Triple talaq does not only do injustice to the daughters, the entire family gets destroyed. If triple talaq is an essential part of Islam, then why was it banned in countries like Pakistan, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia. The Muslim brothers and sisters of India have to know that which political parties are taking political benefit of them by provoking them. >Referring to the UCC, the PM said that we are seeing that work is being done to inflame such people in the name of Uniform Civil Code. If there is one law for one member in a house and another for the other, will the house be able to run? So how will the country be able to run with such a dual system? How can the country run on 02 laws? Even in the Constitution of India, it has been said about equal rights of the citizens. The Supreme Court has again and again said to bring Uniform Civil Code, but these people are starving for vote bank. Those who do vote bank politics have exploited Pasmanda Muslims, but they were never discussed. Even today they do not get equal rights. >On the meeting of the opposition parties, the PM said that the parties which are fiercely opposed to the BJP. Be it 2014 or 2019, in both the elections, there was not as much panic as it is seen today. Those whom some people used to call their enemies earlier, used to abuse after drinking water, today they are prostrating in front of them. His restlessness shows that the people of the country have made up their mind to bring back the BJP in the 2024 elections. Once again in 2024, a landslide victory of the BJP is certain, that is why all the opposition parties are in a panic. >The PM said that nowadays a new word is becoming very popular – that word is guarantee, it is the guarantee of something of the opposition party. . This is a guarantee of corruption, of scams worth lakhs of crores. A few days ago, a 'photo op' program was organized by them, if they put together their total, then all of them together are a guarantee of a scam of Rs 20 lakh crore. Congress alone has a scam value of lakhs crores. >Targeting the opposition parties, the PM said that today I also want to give a guarantee. If they (Opposition) have a guarantee of scam, then Modi also has a guarantee and I have a guarantee – guarantee of action against every scammer. Action is guaranteed on every thief-robber, who has looted the poor, looted the country, his account will always be settled. Today, when the bars of the jail are visible in front, then this jugalbandi of them is happening. Read the full article

Curiouser and curiouser, and yet, irrelevant at this point.
Clinton could have clarified, or forced a corrected report of her comments, but why should she?
Both the right-wing and Russians are notably pro-Gabbard, and there are extensive connections between the far right-wing -- which the Republicon Party now represents, and Putin's Russia, (as well as American extremism in general where "Left" and Right tip into each other).
Gabbard's politics invite the attention. She has enthusiastic admiration for India's Modi; his divisiveness and authoritarianism don't seem to trouble her. Another who is delighted with Modi, and vice versa, is Putin.
https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/pm-narendra-modi-russia-visit-vladivostok-vladimir-putin-live-updates-1595178-2019-09-04
Gabbard defends and would like to vindicate Syria's Assad and his use of chemical warfare on Syrians, believing this fact of international and American intelligence to be some form of smear against Assad...which is a deep and trumpian descent into the world of conspiracy theories. Gabbard also went out of her way from a trip to Paris, to travel to Egypt to connect with el-Sisi while travelling with Rohrabacher, who was Putin's unabashed champion in Congress for decades.
Standing right next to Modi, Assad, and el-Sisi, is Putin, whose overarching goal is to topple Western democracy.
Gabbard did fight for America, giving her military standing and contacts that trump does not have. Did she fight for American democracy? That is not an assumption we can make anymore, given the path Republicons have elected to take.
When Democrats and Republicons say they love America, it's two different ones. Democrats love democracy and value the people. Republicons love wealth and power, are hostile to most of the people, and are hostile to democracy and free, fair, secure elections.
As between Russians and Rupublicons, to maintain and expand power both turn to lies, deceit, propaganda, misinformation, attacks on truth, knowledge, and free press, and voter manipulation. trump is clearly subservient to Putin, and Republicons worship trump.
The NRA cultivated Russian influences and certainly Russian funding.
Alt-right extremists favor Gabbard, and so does the Kremlin.
Republicons now are the alt-right and the fundamentalists, and there are pervasive connections between both to Russia.
(All these articles earn Highest recommendation.)
Conservative groups both militant and religious, or both, have reached for expanded ties to Russia as against "enemy" Democrats.
If Clinton's pronouns referred back to Republicons, but everyone jumped to "Russian," it's understandable.
So where does Gabbard fit in? At the very least, here:
"[S]he’s doing everything Russia wants naturally. The Kremlin only needs to amplify her, and [t]rump and his political supporters will help them.
..."Democrats need to challenge Gabbard on her policies, rather than her affiliations. Why does she support Assad in Syria? Why did she travel to Syria? Why does she doubt the U.S. intelligence community assessment that Assad used chemical weapons on his own people? If the U.S. is a war mongering nation, why does she continue to serve these wars as a member of the Army National Guard?"
And given her repeated political affiliation and approval of dictators, authoritarians, murder regimes, and an "America first"-type brand of world-wide splintering nationalism, what does she believe about the future of democracy?
Or, better yet: Don't ask her. Let her and the divisiveness she represents fade back into the rampant hate but narrow notoriety of 4chan boards, where she remains "trumpian" but is less dangerous.

Do As Buffett Does
Warren Buffett, the best investor of our lifetime, gave an interview on CNBC this past week. While he may still advocate passive investing for you, his personal choice is anything but. He runs a concentrated investment portfolio with one position, Apple, now over 25% of his investable assets.
Here’s what he shared in his interview:
US economy is humming.
Operating earnings, cash flow and free cash flow are very strong.
Inflationary pressures are intensifying.
Trade issues will be resolved.
Stocks are easily his asset class of choice over bonds and real estate.
He is buying stocks.
He is still having trouble buying whole companies, as the premium to buy is almost prohibitive. This comment is telling as he is really saying that the private value of companies far exceeds their current public values, hence today’s prices are undervalued.
Corporations, such as Apple, are huge buyers of their own stock and would welcome any price weakness to buy more shares at lower prices providing downside support.
Buffett is a true investor with a long-term perspective, but we can assure you that he hates losing money so if he is buying today, that says a lot. He mentioned buying back some Berkshire shares recently, too, under their new company guidelines to shrink the cap as long as it is under the intrinsic value of the shares rather than using stated book. That action is meaningful as Berkshire is essentially a giant holding company owning a cross-section of America ranging from insurance to rails to energy to retailing to housing to chemicals to aerospace components and so on.
So when the Oracle speaks, you better listen. No one has a better read on the economy or a greater sense of value than he. If Buffett sees opportunities in the stock market today, you should too. But always keep reserves and never use leverage to be able to take advantage of dips. Do as Buffett does.
Thank you, Warren, for your common sense and well-thought out view of the investable landscape. We resoundingly agree.
The markets finished the week and month on a high point for the year despite all the noise about trade and troubled areas abroad. If you traded based on all the continuous sound bites, you would have gotten whipsawed! The pundits keep crying wolf although the domestic house keeps hitting on all cylinders. This is not to say that we, as well as Buffett, are not cognizant of all the issues/potential problems and risks facing us. We factor them all in taking a longer term view looking over the valley owning great companies with winning strategies regardless of what may happen. And we outperform all indices, too.
Let’s take a look at what was reported around the globe during the normally slow, summer ending week:
1. The US continues to be the engine of global growth with strong consumer demand along with acceleration in business real and nominal growth, profitability, cash flow; and capital spending. Yes, the US is hitting on all cylinders as we move into the fall. We expect very strong Christmas retail sales.
Inflationary pressures are intensifying as Buffett mentioned, but we expect them to moderate as productivity accelerates offsetting wage increases next year. The all-important core PCE index, excluding food and energy, rose 0.2% in July from June and 2% from a year ago. We have not altered our view of Fed policy expecting a hike in the Federal Funds rate in September and most likely again in December.
We expect second-half real growth around 3% and only slightly less real growth next year. S & P earnings are likely to exceed $162/share in 2018 and $175/share in 2019. We see inflation hanging around 2% excluding any one-time impact from trade tariffs, which we do deem transitory as trade deals are reached.
2. Trade issues remain the number one news story around the world as it impacts everyone in some manner. The US successfully concluded a deal with Mexico but failed to cross the finish line with Canada. Politics rather than economics seems the over riding issue preventing a deal. The simple truth is that Canada needs a deal much more than the US, which plays into Trump’s hand. Exports to the US are three quarters of total exports and nearly one fifth of their total GNP. We wished that Trump took a more conciliatory tone towards our neighbors, as it would only improve the chances of closing a deal.
The US will mostly likely impose tariffs on an additional $200 worth of Chinese goods shortly. China is unable to reciprocate in kind but will most likely use other tactics to show that they are not paper tigers. We still see a chance that negotiators from the Eurozone and Japan will join with us dealing with China on trade, the WTO and protecting IP but only after deals are reached with each one.
We remain optimistic that trade deals will be reached with our allies over the next 6-9 months followed by one with China next year after our elections. As trade deals are reached, we expect acceleration in growth in those regions. Global growth has been stunted by all the trade talks, as businesses need some certainty before moving forward on hiring and spending plans.
3. China’s manufacturing gauge surprisingly picked up slightly in August. We continue to believe that China’s economy will decelerate meaningfully over the next six months despite government actions to stimulate growth by accelerating bank lending reversing earlier policies to strengthen the financial system, cutting taxes and pushing local governments to increase infrastructure spending.
China needs a deal more than us, so don’t believe all the government bravado that the country can sustain its growth despite US trade tariffs. In fact, there is some dissension in the ranks and cracks in President Xi’s stance on China 2025.
By the way, there is a bill in Congress doubling our funding for big infrastructure projects around the world to over $60 billion to counter China’s ambitious One Belt, One Road Initiative. Someone apparently woke up in DC.
4. India, the world’s 6th largest economy, reported a sensational second quarter with real growth over 8 percent. PM Modi has done an outstanding job promoting pro-growth, pro-business policies that are finally showing positive results throughout the economy. Walmart, Amazon and Alibaba’s focus on India is just one indication of the country’s future potential.
5. Eurozone economic activity and inflation weakened in August as anticipated. The ECB has no alternative but to maintain an overly easy monetary policy as growth in consumer demand/employment is not sufficient to offset weakness in exports. The Eurozone no doubt needs a trade deal before growth can re-accelerate. We remain concerned that Germany is moving to increase its dominance over the ECB to the detriment of its southern partners, especially Italy.
Let’s wrap this up.
We agree with Buffett that the US is the place to invest for all the reasons mentioned previously. In fact, our markets are undervalued based on S & P earnings over $167/share over the next twelve months with 10-year treasury bond yields under 2.85%. The truth is that the market multiple should be north of 19 today as financial risk factors are down with bank capital and liquidity ratios at all time highs. The market is selling with a Trump discount due to his unpredictability as he brings uncertainty into the marketplace. While we agree with most of his financial and economic policies, we hate his delivery and bully tactics dealing with our friends and foes alike. But that creates opportunity too for long-term investors like Buffett and us willing to look over the valley and invest for the long term.
Listening to the eulogies Saturday for John McCain only reinforced our belief that both parties need to come together for the common good of the country over party. He was a rebel with a cause that was to make America a better place, a beacon for all. We need many more like him. God bless him.
Paix et Prospérité has not altered its asset mix nor risk controls over the last several months. We remain long stocks, short bonds and have gone to a neutral dollar position as we expect dollar strength to weaken as trade deals get closer a la Mexico and overseas growth reaccelerates later in the year into 2019.
Our portfolios continue to be concentrated in the strongest US financials gaining market share; global capital goods and industrial companies; technology stocks selling at a fair multiple to growth; low cost, market dominant industrial commodity companies generating huge free cash flow; consumer nondurable and healthcare companies with strong unit growth and expanding pipelines; and many special situations where internal change will add to shareholder value. The common thread is great management, great financials and market leading technology selling at a discount to intrinsic value like Berkshire.
So remember to review all the facts; pause, reflect and consider mindset shifts; look at your asset mix with risk controls continuously; do independent research and…
Invest Accordingly!

India’s Strict Rules on Foreign Aid Snarl Covid Donations Bake sales on Instagram. Online fund-raisers involving Hollywood celebrities. Pledges of aid from companies like Mastercard and Google. A middle-of-the-night flight by a FedEx cargo plane transporting thousands of oxygen concentrators and masks. India’s devastating surge in Covid-19 cases has galvanized corporations, nonprofit organizations and individuals in the United States into raising millions of dollars and sending medical supplies to the nation of 1.4 billion. But a sweeping change to India’s decades-old law governing foreign donations is choking off foreign aid just when the country needs it desperately. The amendment, passed by the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September with little warning, limits international charities that donate to local nonprofits. The effect is far-reaching. Almost overnight, the amendment gutted a reliable source of funding for tens of thousands of nongovernmental organizations, or N.G.O.s, that were already stretched thin by the pandemic. It prompted international charities to cut back giving that supported local efforts — and supplemented the government’s work — in fields such as health, education and gender. The amended law has forced newly formed charities to rush to find NGOs that can accept their donations without tripping legal wires. And it has smothered nonprofits in red tape: To receive foreign funds, charities must get affidavits and notary stamps and open bank accounts with the State Bank of India, which is government-owned. “Everyone was caught off guard, especially given the role that NGOs played in Covid relief last year,” said Nishant Pandey, chief executive of the American India Foundation, one of the largest U.S. nonprofits working in India. “To come with an amendment like that in the middle of pandemic was problematic.” Mr. Pandey’s foundation, which has raised $23 million for Covid-19 relief efforts, wired $3 million to its affiliate on the ground on May 5 to build 2,500 hospital beds for Covid-19 patients. A week later, the money still hadn’t cleared, Mr. Pandey said. He attributed the holdup to the new bank requirement; funneling aid through a single bank during a time of overwhelming need can make the process frustratingly slow. The Modi government has said the amended law would strengthen compliance, improve monitoring and bring more accountability to an important source of funding in the nonprofit sector. The government has also encouraged international donors to contribute to official charities, including one called the PM Cares fund, which was founded last year and is controlled by Mr. Modi and other government leaders. The government, however, provides little clarity around how donations will be used. The Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi did not respond to calls or an emailed request for comment. The new regulations have “paralyzed” India’s nonprofit sector, a group of 13 NGOs said in a letter that was recently sent to various Indian and U.S. government bodies and shared with The New York Times. The regulatory changes have forced NGOs to “divert scarce time, bandwidth and human resources” toward compliance rather than delivering relief during the pandemic, the letter said. The signatories — including the Center for Advancement of Philanthropy, the National Foundation for India and the Center for Social Impact and Philanthropy — sought a delay or relaxation of the new restrictions during the crisis. “The organizations best placed to respond to community needs at the grass roots in a timely, agile manner are unable to access these donors,” the letter said. India’s needs are pressing. It has suffered more than 22 million infections and over 236,000 deaths, but experts say the toll is severely undercounted. Medical oxygen is in short supply. Hospitals are turning away patients. Only a tiny fraction of the population has been vaccinated. Mr. Modi’s government has come under increasing criticism inside and outside the country over its handling of the second wave. Nongovernmental organizations help provide basic health services in India, picking up the slack in a country where government spending in that area totals 1.2 percent of gross domestic product. The United States spends close to 18 percent on health care. When the pandemic first surged in India, in March 2020, Mr. Modi asked NGOs to help provide supplies and protective gear and to spread the message on social distancing. At the same time, India’s relationship with NGOs — a catchall term for the roughly three million nonprofits working across the country, including religious, educational and advocacy groups — has occasionally been fraught. The ties between Indian NGOs and their foreign benefactors had long been symbiotic: Global foundations provided the money, while local nonprofits brought the expertise. They obtained a license under India’s law so that they could accept foreign funds, but relied largely on donations — called sub-grants — from foreign nonprofits that worked in India rather than solicited grants directly from abroad. Last year, about a quarter of India’s NGO funding — roughly $2.2 billion — came from foreign donors, according to Bain & Co., the consulting firm. The September amendment, which was met with a backlash from India’s vocal community of activists, changed the landscape drastically. Understand the Covid Crisis in India “It came into existence so quickly that there was not the kind of public input or eyes on it that could tell you why it came into existence,” said Ted Hart, the chief executive of Charities Aid Foundation of America, an Alexandria, Va., nonprofit. “It was a shock.” Charities Aid Foundation’s India counterpart was forced to relinquish a major part of its business model, which involved making grants to smaller nonprofits that could carry out the work, Mr. Hart said. Now, both entities are directly managing the programs they support rather than sub-granting, he said. “Regulations are happening,” Mr. Hart said. “We have to comply.” The foundation has recently provided over 75,000 K-N95 masks to state governments and is distributing dry rations to poor communities. Some nonprofits have resorted to creative workarounds. Direct Relief, a Santa Barbara, Calif., nonprofit, recently wired $2.5 million to United Way in Bangalore. The funds were raised by an Indian organization called Act Grants from mostly Silicon Valley donors. But Act Grants, which was set up by the country’s start-up community during the pandemic, didn’t have government approval to receive foreign funds. Procuring it would have been time-consuming, said Thomas Tighe, the president and chief executive of Direct Relief, so his firm helped channel the money through United Way. “They had supporters but didn’t have a mechanism to get the funds over, so we said, ‘Let us help you do that,’” Mr. Tighe said. Direct Relief, which has long worked with FedEx, also partnered with the shipping giant to charter a Boeing 777F to transport supplies to India free of cost. The Indian diaspora of about four million people in the United States has swung into action. Some have given money to online platforms such as GiveIndia that route money to Indian nonprofits set up to receive foreign contributions. It took just a few days for Indiaspora, a nonprofit community of mainly Indian-American donors, to raised around $5 million, including $1.6 million through an online fund-raiser in Hollywood. “The approach we’ve taken is that the house is burning,” said Indiaspora’s founder, M.R. Rangaswami, a Silicon Valley investor and entrepreneur who lost his sister to Covid-19 in India. But his group is stepping carefully in giving that money away. It decided to stick with a small group of well-established nonprofits to which to direct its funding. “The way we’re handling our giving is that we’re making sure that the organizations are F.C.R.A. compliant,” Mr. Rangaswami said. The presidents of India and America and their own politics… Let us try to find something out. India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, for the first time, connected the ties of America with education in 1950. At that time it was decided that in what form the people of India would go to America and study.
And why did it happen that a large number of people started going from India to America for education but this is also Pakistan's 1965 war in which America supported Pakistan and did not support India. Not only this, the United States had imposed a restriction on India that India will not supply food in any form.
And it was in this Raisina Hills that the then Prime Minister of India, Mr. Lal Bahadur Shastri, announced that India would not bow down to the US and would not kneel. Here it is necessary to see how India's relations are with the political parties of America or in another perspective to see how different parties of India are related to different parties of America and the politicians there, it does not depend on it because we He is talking about the relationship of two nations, in which their relations are also commercial and also steeped in politics and development.
It is not that there are two parties in America, Democrats and Republicans. Where the Democrats will win, like Trump will come, it will be good for India or the Republicans will win, or Obama will come, it will be good for India. All the heads of state of America have been thinking only for their country and for the betterment of their country, so whenever they curb anyone, they raise a finger on someone.
In contrast, the President of India and the leaders of various parties try to establish personal relationships with the politicians there. And the result of this is that sometimes America does not give preference to India. Seeing the matter of Trump, our Prime Minister immediately tried to have a personal relationship, but what Trump did in return gave him a lot of convenient things for the good of the Indian citizen which Trump stopped.
And it is not that the Obama with whom our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi tried to establish such a close relationship and came close, gave a lot to India because the Obama administration thought of India only and only for India. Nothing, they just want their betterment, they want their growth and they work only and only for their growth. The main reason for this may also be that the two parties there are one with each other and they hear something very right and there is no question of tolerance for them and development of the country is first.
Today, through this post, I want to tell you what happened in history because of America and we throw 100 crores rupees on a president of America. You will know the facts given below or you will understand where India's honor is situated and what foreign policy works in it.
In 1965, when the war between India and Pakistan started, there was a grain crisis in India, at that time America had said that we will come today but my condition will be and we will give grains to India with conditions. On this, the copy of the speech given by the then Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ji is still in the Parliament and it has been debated many times on the floor of the Parliament.
"Mr. Lal Bahadur Shastri had emphatically raised the voice in his speech that we do not need any other grain, we will run the same grain as we have. The circumstances are that we have not spread our hands to any country And if we allow any country to give food grains, then it will not be good for the self-respect of our country. Therefore, our countrymen should fast for 1 day in a week to compensate for the grain. The availability of food grains in our country will continue till the harvest.
At that time, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri gave the slogan: Tie a rope on your stomach, eat more vegetables, fast for 1 day a week.
Will talk about the year 1966 when Indira Gandhi arrived and she became the Prime Minister of India. Indira Gandhi was on an American visit and the US was protesting against the non-delivery of food grains in India. The Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, did not sign any such document in America, whether it is related to nuclear or education.
Will talk 1971 This year, Pakistan again invaded India and America sent its seventh vera to India. Then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi gave an interview in this PM and said that even if America comes to our door and stands with its army, we will not bow down because India knows how to protect its sovereignty.
And today when the President of the Republican Party, who is going to become Biden, he said in his speech that I will not see any red colored or blue colored state of America that means I will not distinguish it, I will work for the whole of America and The whole of America will be the same for me, there will be no apartheid. With this, he said that I will be the President of America, I will not be the President of any party.
Friends, what is the meaning of this message, this message means that the country is ours, the President of the country works for the whole country and for that the whole country is equal, the President of the country does not work for any party and any party The President of the country does not speak for any party, for that the entire people of that country are his biggest personal property and the President of that country is the development and future of the entire people of that country.
On the contrary, what happens in our country is in front of you and you are well acquainted with it. How will the development of the country, how will the country grow? You cannot take the country forward even if you want to. Therefore you will have to think for the country, you will have to think for everyone, everyone will have to see the same thing, all the states will develop, only then will the development of the country, if one state falls behind, then the whole country cannot grow. Today, Bihar, Bengal, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and how you see it. Can not these states be developed, will these states be developed, then they will not be the development of the country.
And not only that, in India's politics, there is so much discrimination in the politics of discrimination, discrimination of religion, discrimination of big and small, discrimination of our own alien, discrimination of rich and poor, how many problems will this overcome. We sometimes feel that the person who creates this disorder will be the biggest enemy of this country. Who would not want to let the country move forward. Just for the sake of reaching out and straightening your owl. Which does not allow the country to be one. It is also a matter of thinking.

Why India’s ‘Godi Media’ Spreads Hatred and Fake News
How the leading players in the Indian media, loyal to the governing BJP-RSS combine, have been openly peddling fake news, hate and bigotry targeting religious minorities, especially India’s marginalised and dispossessed Muslims and why they have been getting away with murder all these years
— April 24, 2020 | S K Husain | Clarion India
GODI (Lapdog), Bikau (Venal), Dalal (Agent) and Bharkau (Inflammatory). These are some of the labels with which a major section of India’s mainstream electronic media is identified by a majority of Indians, especially Muslims and low-caste Hindus, as well as the remaining section of the national media.
This chunk of the media, which consists of nearly a dozen 24-hour national and regional TV news channels, is infamous for biased reporting and fanning communal hatred in society. Their journalists and anchors routinely engage in spreading fake news and causing hatred towards the country’s 200 million Muslim community and Islam. They, in fact, nourish Islamophobia. As someone rightly remarked, “the Indian media is not doing journalism but waging a jihad (holy war) against Muslims. It acts like hyenas”.
On one hand, these channels demonstrate a clear bias against the country’s low-caste Hindus, the poor, and less privileged and weaker sections of society. On the other, they promote the agenda of the Hindutva forces including the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), its ruling political wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners in the government, as well as their leaders. They also favour the rich and powerful and promote their interests.
Prominent among these Pro-BJP/RSS news outlets are English television channels Republic TV, Times Now, India Today and CNN-News18, and Hindi TV channels Zee News, ABP News, Aaj Tak, India TV, Sudershan News, News Nation and News24 (India). All the above-mentioned titles fit these channels for one reason or the other.
The term “Godi media” was coined for these channels by Ramon Magsaysay award winner journalist Ravish Kumar of NDTV. He inherently spoke of the lap of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and its lapdogs.
Besides these channels, there are many more news and at least 18 Hindu religious channels in regional languages across India that promote the agenda of the Hindutva forces to establish a Hindu Rashtra (nation) and impose Hindi as the national language all over the plural, multi-religious, multi-cultural and multi-lingual country of 1.37 billion people.
Among the key reasons why these channels and their anchors so aggressively support the BJP, RSS and Modi, as well as the rich and powerful, are:
1) Absolute majority of the BJP-led NDA in Parliament and its government at the centre and in many states, and growing irrelevance and inconsequentiality of a largely obliterated opposition;
2) Hindu viewership by the BJP’s 100-million-plus primary members and their massive support for the party and government, and the cult-like following of a “monolithic” Modi;
3) A high TRP achieved because of the majority Hindu viewership. (TRP, or target rating point, is a metric used in marketing and advertising to indicate the percentage of the target audience reached by a campaign or advertisement through a communication medium);
4) Funding by big business houses, which might be chummy with a particular party which supports their growth and in return they support that party;
5) Ownership or stakes of certain BJP and RSS leaders, MPs and supporters in some of these TV channels;
6) Owners’ political connections or affiliations with the BJP and RSS;
7) A huge revenue earned from government advertisements which these channels receive in return for their pro-BJP/RSS/government policies;
8) Commercial interests of these channels as business entities rather than as social service non-governmental organisations;
9) Government advisories/directives and restrictions on news presentation;
10) Fear of being targeted by the government for failure to toe the line.
Let’s take a close look at what these Hindutva TV channels are, who owns or runs them and what are their policies.
HIS MASTER’S VOICE…Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami interviews Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Credit: narendramodi.in
English Networks
Republic TV — This news channel was co-founded and is majority-owned by a 47-year-old Assamese, Arnab Ranjan Goswami. He is also the channel’s editor and news anchor. Earlier, he was the editor-in-chief and a news anchor of Times Now and ET Now.
The channel is infamous for its brazen support for the BJP and RSS. Arnab is noted for his opinionated reporting in favour of the BJP and RSS and their Hindutva push across a wide spectrum of situations, including uncritically reproducing government narratives, avoiding criticism of BJP/RSS figures, and presenting their political opponents in a negative light. He very clearly, cleverly and shamelessly shows his bias. No one can beat him in spreading hatred and fake news.
Arnab is the son of Manoranjan Goswami, an army man who later joined the BJP, and a maternal nephew of Siddhartha Bhattacharya, who is a BJP MLA and minister in Assam’s state government.
Launched in 2017, Republic TV was partly funded by, among others, Asianet News (ARG Outlier Asianet News Private Limited), which was primarily funded by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, then an independent member of Rajya Sabha with intricate links with the BJP and vice-chairman of the NDA in Kerala.
Son of an air force officer, Chandrasekhar, however, resigned from the Asianet board after he officially joined the BJP in April 2018 and was elected as a BJP MP.
Republic TV has been accused of propagating fake news and running several news items based on the defamatory tweets posted by certain BJP leaders. It has also been convicted of breaching telecommunication regulatory and news broadcasting rules, leading to censures and subject to a high-profile defamation case by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor.
The channel is described by experts as a “noisy, chaotic place where coherent debate without shouting, screaming and name-calling is impossible”. Its shows have been dubbed a “battle of babble”, judgmental, brash and hawkish.
It has even been compared to North Korean media for its extreme pro-government affinity and muzzling of dissent, and America’s Fox News which practises biased reporting in favour of the Republican Party.
Prominent among these pro-BJP/RSS news outlets are English television channels Republic TV, Times Now, India Today and CNN-News18, and Hindi TV channels Zee News, ABP News, Aaj Tak, India TV, Sudershan News, News Nation and News24 (India). The term “godi media” was coined for these channels by journalist Ravish Kumar of NDTV. He inherently spoke of the lap of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and its lapdogs
Times Now – Owned and operated by The Times Group (Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited), this channel always wants to go with the winning horse. Previously generally neutral, it has turned pro-BJP since the election of the Modi government. Anchor and managing editor Navika Kumar froths and fumes each time someone is critical of the BJP, but loses her interrogating prowess whenever given the rare chance to interview Modi or Home Minister Amit Shah.
With Arnab, the channel was ultra-BJP and ultra-nationalist; after he left it, it has become a lot more ultra-nationalist and outright BJP supporter. One wonders if this change of stance is because its chairperson, Indu Jain, was awarded Padma Bhushan by the Modi government in 2016.
India Today — Owned by Living India Media Group (India Today Group), the channel was launched in 2003 as a sister channel of the Hindi news channel AajTak. It is one of the four news channels from the TV Today Network stable, the other two being Tez and Delhi AajTak. Aroon Purie is the group’s chairman.
Top journalists associated with India Today TV channel are Rajdeep Sardesai and Rahul Kanwal. While Rajdeep is anti-BJP, Rahul has tried to lean a lot to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Although India Today is a “fence-sitting” channel, in the last one or two years it has clearly tilted towards the BJP.
Rahul and his India Today team had severely lobbied against the BJP and its students wing Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP ) over the Shaheen Bagh and Jamia Millia Islamia shooting incidents. He was also quick to point fingers at BJP leader Anurag Thakur and claim that Delhi was sitting on a powder keg.

CNN News 18 is owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, considered close to PM Modi. The channel was originally owned by Network18 Group, which was taken over by Reliance Industries in 2014. The group owns as many as 65 channels
In an apparent punishment for his “biased” reporting in favour of AAP, Rahul was sent on a “sabbatical”. Since his return, he seems to have dropped his determination to follow in the footsteps of Rajdeep and joined the bandwagon of the godi media anchors.
CNN-News18 — This channel is owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, hence no words are required to explain its bias against Muslims and the less privileged Hindus. This channel was originally owned by Network18 Group, which was founded by businessman and investor Raghav Bahl in 2011 but was taken over by Reliance Industries in 2014.
The group owns as many as 65 channels: one national English news channel, one national Hindi news channel and 14 regional language news channels; three national and one regional business news channels, three Hindi entertainment channels, two Hindi movie channels, two youth channels, four English and Hindi music channels, four kids English and Hindi entertainment channels, four factual entertainment channels, two shopping channels, 14 regional entertainment channels, and 10 upcoming regional news and other channels.
Hindi Channels
Among the most biased and anti-Muslim and po-BJP/RSS Hindi TV news channels and their anchors are:
Zee News — This is one of the several Hindi, English and vernacular news channels owned by the Essel Group. The channel’s owner, Subhash Chandra, became a Rajya Sabha member with the BJP’s support. Hence, he definitely needs to give something back to the party by promoting its Hindutva agenda and launching an anti-Muslim tirade.
Sudhir Chaudhary is the channel’s editor-in-chief and the anchor of its prime time. He is the Hindi version of Republic TV’s Arnab as he openly supports the BJP, RSS and Modi. A few years ago, Sudhir was arrested for allegedly trying to extort one billion Indian rupees (approximately US$23 million) from the Jindal Group. Since then, some people call him Sudhir “Tihari” because he was lodged in Delhi’s maximum-security Tihar Jail in the extortion case.
Zee News has been involved in broadcasting fabricated news stories on multiple occasions. Most recently, it aired an unverified and false report on the coronavirus and linked it to Tablighi Jamaat, and later expressed regrets for running the false report.
India TV – This channel was launched by Rajat Sharma and his wife Ritu Dhawan in 2004 from a studio in FilmCity in Noida, near Delhi. Sharma is the chairman and editor-in-chief of India TV, a subsidiary of Independent News Service which was co-founded by the couple in 1997. During his college days, Sharma was a member of ABVP. He and the late finance minister Arun Jaitley were very close friends.
India TV is biased, too. It conceals plenty of news that would make headlines. It doesn’t show fake news but is selective in its presentation of news according to its political impact. When Sharma was asked a question about his channel’s integrity in the United States in view of his friendship with Jaitley, he got infuriated. An otherwise calm person, he was all irritated and critical of the person who asked it.
According to tech analyst Amol Raj Pandey, when Sharma “was ousted from his FilmCity office by Century Comm, his new office was completely funded by the BJP. India TV kept on working as BJP propaganda unit after that.” He further says the most important point to show this is — he was awarded Padma Bhushan for literature, although he never wrote a single literary piece. However, he wrote fiction for the BJP during its election campaign.
In 2015, Sharma was awarded Padma Bhushan by the BJP government for his contribution in the field of journalism. Last month, he was conferred with an honorary doctorate in of literature by the Nainital-based Kumaun University. All this explains his unstinted support for the BJP and RSS.
AajTak — Owned by Arun Purie’s India Today Group, AajTak has some of the most poisonous anchors — Anjana Om Kashyap, Rohit Sardana and Sweta Singh — known for their vitriolic attacks against Muslims and spreading communal hatred. The trio routinely indulge in Muslim-bashing, while showcasing a deferential surrender to anything the BJP does.
A former Zee News and News24 journalist, Anjana has been engaged in aggressively propagating Hindutva-centred ideologies and biased reporting in favour of the BJP across a variety of situations. She has spread fake news via her news shows on multiple occasions. A favourite of Modi, she was one of the few reporters who were allowed an interview by Modi in the run-up to the 2019 general election. Rohit Sardana tops the list of the worst journalists sponsored by the right wing.
ABP News — Owned by Bengali journalist Aveek Sarkar of the pro-BJP ABP Group, this channel is the reincarnation of Star News. Earlier, ABP News used to be neutral, but it turned pro-BJP a couple of years ago. This came after the Modi government objected to criticism of the BJP by some ABP News journalists including Punya Prasoon Vajpyee and Abhisar Sharma in their Master Stroke show. After the channel took action against these journalists, Rubika Liyaquat became the commander-in-chief of its news anchors. A former Zee New anchor, Rubika joined ABP News in 2018. A Muslim, she is disliked by many for her angry rhetoric against Muslim leaders called by the channel for debates on TV.
Sudarshan News — This channel disseminates anti-Muslim content and manufactures fake news with communal overtones, earning it tiltles such as “bigot” and “dangerous”.
Its chairman, Suresh Chavhanke, was a long-term RSS volunteer and associated with ABVP. He asserts practicing ideology-driven journalism and prefers that the news programmes over his channel be viewed as opinionated campaigns.
In April 2017, he was arrested for inciting communal hatred through multiple episodes of a flagship programme. Recently, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren ordered state police to take action against Chavhanke for his communal hate speeches.
News Nation — Owned by News Nation Network Pvt Ltd, this channel’s consulting editor Deepak Chaurasia has an inclination towards the BJP and is known as a puppet of Modi. Portuguese politician and political scientist Bruno Macaes compared Chaurasia’s journalism to Fox News, which has often been criticised for being extremely vocal in its support of the Republicans and President Donald Trump.
India 24 (India) — Owned by B.A.G. Films and Media Limited, this channel is promoted by Anuradha Prasad, sister of BJP minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, along with her husband, Congress politician Rajeev Shukla. Its anchor Amish Devgan has modelled himself on Republic TV’s Arnab and routinely indulges in Muslim-bashing.
All the above channels are Pro-BJP because they need government advertisments for revenue to operate. And most of their anchors and journalists are enamoured by Modi’s “superman image ” created by his online fans. As they aren’t bold enough to go against this fan club fearing trolling and reprisals, they find it easy to ride with the wind.
In this media environment, can Muslims expect to be heard and their case to be pleaded by these biased media houses? They have to either put up with this or mull over focusing on creating their own media giants. There’s no dearth of financial and other resources, technical expertise and journalistic talent in the community. All that is needed are sincerity, will and resolve to start own TV news channels.

Global Industrial Floor Coating Market- Industry Analysis and forecast 2027: Type, Material, End-User, coating Component, Technology, and Region.
Global Industrial Floor Coating Market size was valued US$ XX Mn in 2019 and the total revenue is expected to grow at 4.9 % from 2020 to 2027, reaching US$ XX Mn.
Global Industrial Floor Coating Market Overview:
The growing acceptance of innovative technology to improve solvent-free coatings is one of the key trends being observed in the total industrial floor coatings market. The growing popularity of solvent-free coatings can be endorsed to their high resin content & their application in industrial floors to offer denser coatings of protection.
Increasing focus of key players towards seamless flooring:
The increasing attention of key players towards seamless flooring has been gaining importance in the industrial coatings market. Seamless floors have no joins. Seamless bases are attained by pouring-in-place urethane, epoxy, or other industrial floor coatings to make it a part of the base’s structure. Seamless flooring supports to deliver aesthetic value, allows ease of application, facilitates maintenance, & confirms long-term performance of industrial floors. For example, Patcham’s new High Molar Volume technology is based on a polymer strategy with a higher volume per mass as equated to conventional high molecular weight dispersing agents. Multiple anchoring groups & multi compatible polymeric chains make it most suitable for different types of pigments from high structured carbon blacks, to organic pigments in a range of resin systems.
India Demand Floors Expectations:
Manufacturing is amongst the extraordinary development sectors driven by PM Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. Also, India is now a key manufacturing country with its developing position of a worldwide manufacturing hub. All this adds up to a robust demand for industrial flooring in the long run. Key demand drivers will be the process industries & F&B sectors, commercial real estate & warehousing will also drive demand majorly.
There is a conclusive move now in the way individuals look at floors at both end of the spectrum; from the end-user side & from the constructor's side, & manufacturers of flooring goods are keeping pace with this move in demand patterns, which are getting more stylish & ever stringent. The demand spreads through all types & sizes, with process industries such as chemicals & F&B, hospitality & healthcare challenging the most stringent standards. The other key drivers are commercial real estate such as shopping malls & corporate parks, & especially the warehousing area. India’s supply shortage in warehousing is 120 mn sq ft & is increasing. Owing to the absence of modernization, the industry is now facing a massive gap between demand & supply. “MMR report study estimates reveal that a shortage of 120 million sq. ft happens in the sector. And this gap will stay to broaden. This is mostly because demand for warehousing is anticipated to raise at a CAGR of 18 % during the forecast period thanks to the arriving investment in the retail sector & growing import-export activity in India. If the carpet area in these approximations is multiplied the demand for flooring just in this sector is poised to raise exponentially. And within warehousing the most stringent demand for excellence flooring will be in the cold chain sector, again driven majorly by F&B & healthcare.
Global Demand Mosaic:
Now the demand is moving through two axes, aesthetics cum quality, & the quality equation. Manufacturers are proposing innovative products through individual product sectors geared to the application of the customer. The new demand is for floors which score great on aesthetics, easy for installation, easy for maintenance, slip resistance, moisture resistance, aseptic, & durability. The other axis is the price/superiority equation where products are available through the price spectrum.
While majority manufacturing will drive demand mainly for industrial flooring products, commercial & industrial real estate & city transport infra will be the additional demand drivers. There is rising demand through numerous sectors like airports, Metro-Rail projects, shopping malls, IT parks, & SEZs. The logistics, warehousing, & packaging industries are also enhancing the demand for industrial flooring. Another new driver will be huge ticket developments like metro cities, where some industrial towns are planned, will rise the demand for industrial flooring goods during the forecast period.

But, today's victory is not a victory for Modi. This is a victory for the aspirations of every citizen of this country craving for honesty. Not even his name." -- New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on the man behind the deadly Christchurch mosque shootings that claimed the lives of over 50 people.Narendra Modi has conducted a surgical strike and an airstrike on terrorist camps in Pakistan8. "I knew it was a big risk. I never care about any political risk to me. The biggest consideration for me was the safety of the soldiers who were willing to sacrifice their lives on our word. But I said I won't breathe easy till the last man returns." -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said after conducting surgical strikes on terrorist camps in PoK days after the Uri attack.Donald Trump had nominated Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court judge9. Indian Filth Against Pakistan Exposed:
Pro-Indian 'fake websites targeted decision makers in Europe'
By Flora Carmichael & Abid Hussain, BBC World Service
A global network of pro-Indian fake websites and think-tanks is aimed at influencing decision-making in Europe, researchers say.
The co-ordinated network of 265 sites operates across 65 countries, according to a report by EU Disinfo Lab, a Brussels-based NGO,
The researchers traced the websites to an Indian company, Srivastava Group.
The network was also found to involve groups responsible for anti-Pakistan lobbying events in Europe.
There's no evidence it is linked to India's government.
But researchers believe the network's purpose is to disseminate propaganda against India's neighbour and rival Pakistan. Both countries have long sought to control the narrative against each other.
The websites sprinkled anti-Pakistan content amongst stories about world news and sport
“More than the fake media outlets alone, it is their combination with the fake NGOs that's really worrying because it provides a mirage of online and grassroots support to a cause. That's exactly where the disinformation lies," Alexandre Alaphilippe, executive director of EU Disinfo Lab, told the BBC.
'Zombies, green aliens and blue ghosts'
EU Disinfo Lab's investigation started by looking at EP Today, a website which claimed to be an online magazine for the European Parliament in Brussels.
In October, the European Union's disinformation task force revealed that EP Today had been re-publishing a large amount of news directly from Russia Today and Voice of America.
Some suspected Russian interference, but EU Disinfo Lab, which is an independent NGO, traced the servers behind the website to Srivastava Group.
The researchers then uncovered a vast network of English language fake sites serving India's lobbying interests.
EU Disinfo Lab uses skulls and cross bones to represent "zombie" sites, green aliens for made-up names and blue ghosts are misleading titles
Many of the fake websites use names of defunct newspapers to provide a veneer of credibility. EU Disinfo Lab have dubbed these "zombie" sites, because the names were resurrected from dead media outlets.
For example, one of the sites is called Manchester Times. Its "About Us" section uses text copied from a Wikipedia entry about a newspaper with the same name.
But it omits an important part of the Wikipedia description, which states: "The newspaper's last issue appeared on 22 July 1922." It also fails to declare the website's links to Indian interests.
This and other sites look like local news outlets, but are secretly controlled by servers linked to the Srivastava Group
Six of the sites use misleading names, like "Times of Los Angeles" instead of the better known "Los Angeles Times".
The websites all copy syndicated content from news organisations to make them look like real news sites. They then plant anti-Pakistan stories and opinion pieces from employees of NGOs linked to the network to serve India's lobbying interests, researchers found.
The Times of Geneva is one of the most sophisticated websites in the network, and creates a lot of video content. Its activities appear to target decision makers at the UN.
The website hasn't been updated since 19 November, a few days after EU Disinfo Lab first announced its discovery of the network.
The BBC tried calling the phone number on the Times of Geneva's website, but it has been cut off. Its YouTube channel has been disabled and its Twitter account suspended.
Interviews with lobbyists, MEPs and representatives of NGOs critical of Pakistan appeared on Times of Geneva's YouTube channel
Mr Alaphilippe believes the network was created to influence international institutions and elected representatives.
"We think the main goal was to be able to reach policymakers in Brussels and Geneva, without being able to trace back to those behind the manipulative network. And this worked!" he told the BBC.
"MEPs [Members of the European Parliament] have engaged directly with this network on a multitude of levels, whether that's been through writing op-eds for their media, participating in overseas trips and press conferences, or by speaking in the European Parliament on behalf of the cause."
Ray Serrato, an open source investigator with a focus on disinformation, noted how little social media traction the network generated.
In an email to the BBC, he says what struck him was that "somebody went to pains to set up hundreds of inauthentic sites to bolster coverage of issues aligned with India's interests, and then used (unwitting?) European MPs to lend legitimacy to some of those sites".
"The real-life implications are that officials can be hand-fed and regurgitate specific talking points, completely unaware about how they got them."
The EU Disinfo Lab report highlights various organisations which appear to be closely connected, which have been organising "protests and conferences every year during UN Human Rights Council sessions". They focus on campaigns to criticise Pakistan for the state of minorities and persecuted groups in the country.
One group identified in the network, the European Organisation for Pakistani Minorities (EOPM), organised a protest in front of the UN in 2016, and a conference held in the United Nations Human Rights Council.
A taxi bike in Geneva bears a poster saying "Save the Minorities in Pakistan" Image caption: EOPM put posters in Geneva which contained the message "Save the Minorities in Pakistan"
In 2017 posters with the message "Free Balochistan" and other slogans supporting minorities in Pakistan appeared on streets in Geneva, resulting in Pakistani authorities summoning the Swiss Ambassador to demand the removal of the posters.
The EU Disinfo Lab report highlights that this year, a campaign was launched in front of the United Nations office in Geneva about Balochistan. The protest used the hashtag #PakistanStopGenocide, with speeches made by various individuals named in the report. It was extensively covered in media outlets in the network, such as the Times of Geneva.
India has also been on the receiving end of critical outdoor advertising in Europe. Earlier this year, during the Cricket World Cup in England, banners were seen flying over the stadium during India's match against Sri Lanka at Headingley, Leeds, with messages such as "Justice for Kashmir" and "India Stop Genocide and Free Kashmir".
Planes flew over 2019 Cricket World Cup matches, England towing both anti-Pakistan and anti-India slogans
Animosity between Pakistan and India has resulted in three all-out wars, and numerous skirmishes across the border, the most recent of which took place in February this year.
The battle to construct an effective narrative and gain international support has long been fought online as well as offline.
Ten years ago, a now-dormant Pakistani blog, Café Pyala, unearthed a network of publications that were hawkishly pro-Pakistan and virulently anti-India.
It found a similar modus operandi, where the news outlets "reference and promote each other constantly", with misleading names such as "Times of Bombay, The Delhi Times, and Dacca Times".
Unlike its anti-Indian predecessor, the anti-Pakistan network revealed by EU Disinfo Lab has a strong presence in European cities such as Brussels, Geneva and Strasbourg, co-ordinating demonstrations and a social media campaign.
Who is behind the network?
Through shared phone numbers and an office address in Brussels, as well as shared web servers, EU Disinfo Lab found Srivastava Group to be at the heart of the network.
Srivastava Group is an Indian holding company which declares on its website that it has "interests in Natural resources, Clean energy, Airspace, Consulting services, Healthcare, Print Media and Publishing".
One of Srivastava Group's subsidiaries, the International Institute for Non-Aligned Studies (IINS), sponsored a controversial visit to Indian-administered Kashmir for right-wing MEPs in October.
An ornate gate in front of a building Srivastava Group's headquarters appeared unoccupied
The IINS is based at the same address in Delhi as Srivastava Group and an obscure media outlet called New Delhi Times.
BBC News Hindi reporter Kirti Dubey visited the address and was told by a security guard there was no office in the building. A neighbour who had lived in the area for 40 years told her he had never seen anyone in the house. Srivastava Group did not respond to the BBC's attempts to request comment by phone and email.
When Indian media reported the publication of EU Disinfo Lab's initial findings in November, the New Delhi Times' editor in chief Ankit Srivastava tweeted that Pakistan's intelligence services were trying to tarnish him, although he provided no evidence.
The 'Madi effect'
Madi Sharma has been identified by EU Disinfo Lab as central to the disinformation network. She has written for EP Today and the New Delhi Times as their "EU correspondent".
It was Madi Sharma who sent MEPs invitations for the controversial trip to Kashmir. She signed the invitation letters as the Founder and CEO of the Women's Economic and Social Think Tank (WESTT) and said the trip would be sponsored by the IINS.
EU Disinfo Lab found that WESTT shares some staff with EP Today and had quoted and republished content from New Delhi Times and the Times of Geneva.
Madi Sharma, far right, posed for pictures with Indian PM Narendra Modi during the MEPs' controversial Kashmir trip
Madi Sharma, who also goes by the name Madhu Sharma, is a British member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). She was nominated for the committee by the UK Government and has been an EESC Member since 2002.
She paints herself as a successful entrepreneur, but according to the UK's Companies House website, her sole directorship in the UK is with Madi Limited, and the company is dormant.
Her book Madi - No Excuses has its own website which asks: "Have you heard about the phenomena known as the 'Madi Effect'?"
Ankit Srivastava of the New Delhi Times is also vice chairman of the Srivastava Group - and he is likely to have heard of the 'Madi Effect' because he has written her a glowing testimonial on her website.
"You know all of us at Srivastava Group and New Delhi Times appreciate you and all your work in the promotion of entrepreneurship, human rights and towards empowering others from all nations," he writes, adding: "Of course we particularly appreciate your support toward India."
This support for India and involvement in such a network of websites could be perceived as a conflict of interest for an EESC member like Madi Sharma. She did not respond to the BBC's attempts to contact her.
On her website, Madi Sharma says: "I am the representative of my brand - a registered trade mark - because if Versace and Gucci could do it, so could I!"
The committee's members are drawn from economic and social interest groups in Europe to represent the views of civil society to European institutions, including the European Parliament.
In a statement to the BBC, the EESC emphasised the independence of its members.
"The EESC does not engage in image building activities for governments and is independent from any government. [EESC Members] are to be completely independent in the performance of their duties, in the Union's general interest."
Asked what standards are expected of members, and whether lobbying on behalf of countries outside the EU is allowed, the EESC shared its new code of conduct with the BBC.
It requires "integrity, openness, diligence, honesty, accountability and respect for the Committee's reputation" and avoidance of conflicts of interest. Members do not have to sign the new code of conduct until October next year though.
"An advisory committee on the conduct of members is currently being set up and is currently working on its rules of procedure and working methods. To our knowledge Ms Sharma has not signed the new code of conduct."
The BBC tried to contact Madi Sharma and Ankit Srivastava directly and through their respective organisations, WESTT and Srivastava Group, but they did not respond.
