hi plz help me if you can afford to? i have a medical appointment the day after tomorrow & nothing came in yesterday. plz im goddamn miserable & can't afford to miss it have enough for the appointment,

i need help paying for my HRT consult on the 29th & maybe the resulting prescription if that happens.. also being able to eat without getting sick would be great

you may know me cause i've recently spent months begging and trying to escape an extremely abusive & unsafe living situation without much luck, & trying to help my brother & 2yr old nephew not end up homeless.

i'm unable to work. fighting with chronic disability and my health is declining. like horribly. i'm having almost nonstop headaches and hallucinations, lights and distortions in my vision that are making it hard to read. it's hard to even do basic counting and getting harder to remember things and talk right. i'm fucking scared. i've been sick and it hasn't stopped getting worse for the past 4 years.

i have a doctor's appointment on the 22nd which i need 90 bucks to make sure i can pay for it. i also have a consultation for HRT on the 29th and that's.

what's more is i was recently fucked over and my food stamps were discontinued. if you know anything about my situation it's that i live with people who intentionally ONLY let me have food that makes my sickness drastically worse and i can't go without eating either cause, i've almost ended up in the hospital from what happens if i don't eat anything at all for 2 days. but i'm also going to end up in the hospital if i keep eating the shit my family feeds me :')

at this point i feel like theres no hope of getting away from my family again. at the absolute least i'd like to finally be able to find out why i'm so sick after suffering for years and maybe find a way to make it hurt less.

rb's help a ton, but if anyone can afford to toss me any cash at all it would mean a lot. i really hate begging like this, but it's about the only way i'll even have a chance at making it to these appointments because my adopts are not selling :')

all creatives on this site have been struggling with the like/reblog ratio on their content, so for a lot of us, it doesn't go past a certain point-- unless it is shared (reblogged). so for me at least, seeing an essentially blank blog follow me for content, whilst demanding i do more, feels like a slap in the face, because even you aren't willing to reblog it. most of these blogs too don't even leave comments (or leave actual good ones; not "part 2 plz" or "when are you updating this?".

why would i want you to follow me if all you're going to do is treat my blog like how the other blank blogs do?

anyway for my actual answer: in terms of direct inspiration, it doesn't really happen much? the last two times i did art directly based on someone else's work is probably this one from this fic, and also that time i drew art of someone else's judgment au. oh! and there's that moriohpsycho art based on this comic! (filthyguts' work is so very. hgngngghh. very good.) nothing else really comes to mind, and when i think of the other things i've been into recently there hasn't been as much opportunity for that to happen...

flex and herds = strong fixation but lmao. almost nobody else made stuff about them. nobody is surprised umineko = surprisingly i don't read much umineko fanfiction? and in terms of illustration, i certainly picked up imagery and indirect inspiration but nothing concrete enough for me to give an example... now that i think about it, i did once draw andromalius from redaction/sunny, but that was years ago, and also mostly because i was acquainted with the writer. ...i don't have that artwork on hand right now death note = didn't really get involved with the fandom + i enjoyed my own ideas well enough! ...i can't recall if i drew long-hair-L art before or after seeing other artists do it. and as for everything else the same kind of reasoning applies. didn't really get involved with the fandom or wasn't really compelled to make art in response to stuff i saw, or i just don't remember anymore.

buuuuuuut if we're opening this up to just... pulling ideas from other people? then yeah, all the time, though that kind of goes without saying when you have a creative hobby. ...it's probably going to be hard to come up with examples of this since it's more ambiguous.
