i'm unable to work. fighting with chronic disability and my health is declining. like horribly. i'm having almost nonstop headaches and hallucinations, lights and distortions in my vision that are making it hard to read. it's hard to even do basic counting and getting harder to remember things and talk right. i'm fucking scared. i've been sick and it hasn't stopped getting worse for the past 4 years.

i have a doctor's appointment on the 22nd which i need 90 bucks to make sure i can pay for it. i also have a consultation for HRT on the 29th and that's.

what's more is i was recently fucked over and my food stamps were discontinued. if you know anything about my situation it's that i live with people who intentionally ONLY let me have food that makes my sickness drastically worse and i can't go without eating either cause, i've almost ended up in the hospital from what happens if i don't eat anything at all for 2 days. but i'm also going to end up in the hospital if i keep eating the shit my family feeds me :')

at this point i feel like theres no hope of getting away from my family again. at the absolute least i'd like to finally be able to find out why i'm so sick after suffering for years and maybe find a way to make it hurt less.

rb's help a ton, but if anyone can afford to toss me any cash at all it would mean a lot. i really hate begging like this, but it's about the only way i'll even have a chance at making it to these appointments because my adopts are not selling :')

Hey- stupid question, I know, but what do you mean by blank blogs? Like, the type that look like bots with no content/personalization or something else? I’m new to tumblr and havent seen that term yet ha-ha.

not a dumb question; but i'm going to talk about the two "types" of blank blogs i do not like following me.

[right one is just a sideblog i have and am using to explain this]

so if your blog looks like either of these; i'd rather you not follow me.

now for the left blog, i either think your a bot or minor, so if see blogs like that like/follow = an instant block.

now the blog on the right, i'm okay with the occasional likes, provided your age is in your bio; just don't follow me (or spam like from me).

why?

all creatives on this site have been struggling with the like/reblog ratio on their content, so for a lot of us, it doesn't go past a certain point-- unless it is shared (reblogged). so for me at least, seeing an essentially blank blog follow me for content, whilst demanding i do more, feels like a slap in the face, because even you aren't willing to reblog it. most of these blogs too don't even leave comments (or leave actual good ones; not "part 2 plz" or "when are you updating this?".

why would i want you to follow me if all you're going to do is treat my blog like how the other blank blogs do?

now im not saying you need to rb every single fic i do, but to follow me and not even rb a single one but like the ones you want, rubs me the wrong way. the 'shy' excuse only works for so long when all we're really asking is to show support and just share it; followers or not-- the reblog button is as free as the block button.

(filthyguts' work is so very. hgngngghh. very good.) nothing else really comes to mind, and when i think of the other things i've been into recently there hasn't been as much opportunity for that to happen...

flex and herds = strong fixation but lmao. almost nobody else made stuff about them. nobody is surprised umineko = surprisingly i don't read much umineko fanfiction? and in terms of illustration, i certainly picked up imagery and indirect inspiration but nothing concrete enough for me to give an example... now that i think about it, i did once draw andromalius from redaction/sunny, but that was years ago, and also mostly because i was acquainted with the writer. ...i don't have that artwork on hand right now death note = didn't really get involved with the fandom + i enjoyed my own ideas well enough! ...i can't recall if i drew long-hair-L art before or after seeing other artists do it. and as for everything else the same kind of reasoning applies. didn't really get involved with the fandom or wasn't really compelled to make art in response to stuff i saw, or i just don't remember anymore.

buuuuuuut if we're opening this up to just... pulling ideas from other people? then yeah, all the time, though that kind of goes without saying when you have a creative hobby. ...it's probably going to be hard to come up with examples of this since it's more ambiguous.

(not tagging in this post so he doesn't feel obligated to read my big ass ask responses 💀) as of writing this, it's not posted but i did end up making kuwagami art based on a nickelback song so. yknow. there's that LMAO

for sawashiro and arakawa, i do sometimes go reference @/todayisafridaynight 's art to help me with my own. ("how did he draw this part of the suit? oh, like that huh? hmm" <- this kind of thing)

and um. i'm not trying to pander to you (at least not this time), but genuinely it's one of the few examples that come to mind at this moment. but when i was writing my first kuwagami fic, i could feel the influence of the ever-changing on my brain... was turning over some of your ideas there...
