The forty-third card of the Tarot is associated with the middle ten degrees of Cancer- Pluto in Cancer. It’s a social and jubilant energy. It’s a whole-hearted celebration of life. It indicates genuine emotional, though lighter, connection with others- friends, siblings, family, people connected with our youth and current local community. It’s linked with spirituality, creativity, poetry, writing, nourishment of the soul and freeing transformation.
Sorrel symbolizes joy, affection and matrimonial tenderness. It’s linked to Venus (warm + moist/kidneys, throat, skin and hair). It’s high in fiber and vitamin C, and also contains vitamin A, iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium. It’s a diuretic, can aid in digestion, reduce cholesterol, and help regulate blood pressure- but shouldn’t be eaten in large quantities due to the toxic oxalic acid in its leaves.
