someday im going to write a book about an athlete with mental health issues.
#watching the wcws and about to cry because the stanford girls are showing so much emotion with every out recorded#and i was always told to never show emotion Ever. and it fucked me up and now im done playing.#i could’ve been there. i PLAYED on that field i played against some of these girls that could’ve been me.#i mean i was getting recruited by d1 schools for this sport. and now im not even playing.#and i just think. it’s something that needs to be addressed. so other people can see you don’t have to be invincible to be an athlete.#but you also are someone outside of your sport. i learned that too late.#plus the bullying and body shaming and emotional abuse by both teammates and coaches. it’s unacceptable.#and i need other people to know that they’re not alone.#anyways just an emotional few days.#wayli don’t overshare on the internet challenge (impossible)#🫧🪴
