We're really not talking enough about the INSANE cinematography in Dead Boy Detectives. Like people went crazy for the OG Doctor Strange movie because of its visuals (rightfully so) but it was all pulled off with a Marvel budget, so generally unsurprising imo. But I was blown away with the score and the cinematography and how effectively they pulled off a feeling of pure magical immersion... plus the little bits of unexpected humor amongst the "serious" monsters/demons/etc. was so delightfully refreshing.

Go watch this show if you haven't pleeeeeeease
