Tumblr media
Fashion is a language that is always changing and goes beyond simple choices of attire. Amidst the diverse array of fashion trends and designs, dresses for women are a striking way to express uniqueness, self-assurance, and sophistication. Every article of clothing conveys a different tale, reflecting a person's sense of style, whether it be the classic appeal of a little black dress or the flowing grace of a summer sundress.
Women's dresses have always been more than just clothes; they make a statement and express a person's personality and attitude. The power of fashion to empower people and help them feel good about themselves is what makes it so lovely. The importance of dresses for women doesn't change as the fashion scene does, providing a canvas.
Dresses for Women is more than just a catchphrase; it's an invitation to delve into the realm of fashion's endless possibilities. There's a great outfit for every occasion thanks to the diversity of dresses for women, which range from easy daytime wear to elegant evening gowns.
The feelings that dresses for women arouse are just as important to their attractiveness as their aesthetic qualities. This sentimental bond is what distinguishes Dresses for Women in the world of fashion.
Regarding dresses for women, quality is the most important factor to take into account. Not only do opulent textiles feel good against the skin, but they also serve as a tribute to the skill and attention to detail that went into making each piece of clothing. Dresses for Women are known for their versatility. They move from day to night with ease, fitting in with different situations and events. Dresses for Women now come in a variety of sizes, proving that every woman can choose a dress that gives her a sense of confidence and beauty. The fashion industry has realised the value of representation. It's a shift towards a more inclusive fashion scene as well as a celebration of diversity.
Dresses for Women have an impact on society and culture in addition to personal style. Throughout history, dresses have served as a symbol of femininity and grace, evoking many historical periods and cultural manifestations. Even in the modern era, Dresses for Women remain a major influence in establishing and reflecting social norms, dispelling myths, and encouraging individuality.
Online shopping has become commonplace in the digital age, giving dresses for women a new stage to shine on. With so many alternatives available online, ladies may experiment and explore different designs without ever leaving the comforts of their homes. When searching online for the ideal outfit, the term "Dresses for Women" turns into a helpful compass that points fashionistas towards well chosen collections that fit their preferences.
The adoption of sustainability by the fashion industry has also had an impact on Dresses for Women. The Current Trends in Fashion Styling for Photoshoots
In fashion photography, fashion styling is a vital component to produce visually captivating images. An eCommerce stylist captures the spirit of a brand in this way. As the fashion industry continues to progress, so do the trends by a personal stylist online in styling for photoshoots.
Tumblr media
In this piece, we will delve into the prevailing trends that are influencing how the fashion industry and a certified fashion stylist approach photoshoot styling. From minimalistic aesthetics to innovative concepts, fresh ideas are being embraced by photographers and the best fashion stylist in Delhi NCR to create captivating visuals that push boundaries.
Trends in Fashion Styling
Minimalist Aesthetics
The fashion industry has recently been captivated by the simplicity and elegance of minimalist styling by top celebrity stylist in India for photoshoots. Clean lines, monochromatic palettes, and understated sophistication by a famous fashion stylist have become increasingly popular. By using neutral tones, simple silhouettes, and natural fabrics, an eCommerce stylist highlights the minimalist styling design and craftsmanship of garments. Thus, a women's personal stylist also tries to create a timeless sense of sophistication. As per a personal stylist online, this trend has also given rise to the "less is more" approach. In this case, models are now styled by Vanshika Jain Fashion Stylist to showcase minimal accessories and understated makeup to maintain an overall sense of simplicity and purity in visuals.
Sustainable Fashion
With a growing emphasis on environmental consciousness, the fashion stylist for photoshoot is incorporating sustainable practices into all aspects of its business, including photoshoot styling. Sustainable fashion styling by a fashion stylist for a clothing brand prioritizes eco-friendly materials, upcycling or recycling garments, and ethical sourcing. This trend followed by an eCommerce stylist promotes a more conscious approach to fashion.
By encouraging the reuse and repurposing of clothing items, women's personal stylist is featuring models wearing vintage or second-hand clothing - highlighting the beauty in pre-loved fashion. A certified fashion stylist like Vanshika Jain, the best fashion stylist in Delhi NCR, explores innovative ways to create looks using organic fabrics, and vegan leather alternatives among others. Thus, they are creating visuals that inspire and raise awareness about sustainable fashion choices.
Inclusivity & Diversity
One notable shift in recent fashion trends is an increased focus on inclusivity & diversity. As per a famous fashion stylist, fashion should reflect society's diversity by celebrating all ethnicities, body types & gender identities. This recognition is now gaining traction among the industry's personal fashion stylist in Delhi for photoshoots. Models from diverse backgrounds are featured showcasing different sizes & ages promoting an inclusive standard of beauty. A fashion stylist for photoshoot incorporates skin tones across a wide range of cultures. Alongside, the top celebrity stylist in India promotes positive body image and encourages people from all walks of life to connect with fashion meaningfully.
Experimental Concepts
Fashion photography pushes boundaries continually. Hence, experimental concepts by eCommerce fashion stylist are gaining momentum in photoshoot stylings worldwide. Avant-garde elements that incorporate bold color combinations, unconventional accessories, and stylistic surrealism are being explored by fashion stylist for photoshoot. This trend blurs the line between fashion and art, encouraging creative collaborations among women's personal stylist, photographers & designers. The result of these collaborations is unique and captivating visuals by a fashion stylist for a clothing brand that capture attention while leaving a lasting impression.
AI photography
A famous fashion stylist anticipates that 2024 will usher in an era of AI (Artificial Intelligence) photography. According to a personal fashion stylist, AI brings a plethora of possibilities, not just limited to smart tools aiding in taking photographs but also new creative options emerging through algorithms and filters. With the advent of AI in photography, a personal fashion stylist in Delhi can expect advancements like the combination of pictures through algorithms and many other new horizons.
The buzzword around AI is not unfounded as cameras equipped with AI can learn about settings and image processing, recognize scenes automatically, or blend different HDR images seamlessly based on lighting conditions. Furthermore, an eCommerce fashion stylist states that photo editing becomes more accessible with this technology, along with intelligent photo management software which makes organizing your photos a breeze.
Bold Colors
Gone are the days of pale and subdued colors. The current trend in fashion photography is to use bold and vibrant colors by a personal fashion stylist that catches the eye. This trend by fashion stylist for a clothing brand shows no signs of slowing down. On runways, renowned Vanshika Jain Fashion Stylist and designers are also embracing this trend with saturated blues, hot oranges, vibrant lime greens, and other vivid hues. Accomplished photographers like Rafael Pavarotti, and a famous eCommerce fashion stylist have been expertly incorporating intense colors into their work as well.
Conclusion
The domain of fashion styling for photoshoots is a constantly changing and developing landscape. The current trends followed by Vanshika Jain, the best fashion stylist in Delhi NCR, point towards a shift towards minimalism, sustainability, inclusivity, and experimentation. The personal fashion stylist appreciates the beauty of simplicity, advocate for environmentally friendly fashion options, promote diversity, and push the limits of creativity to enthrall audiences. These trends not only influence the presentation of fashion, a personal fashion stylist in Delhi but also affect society's perception of beauty, sustainability, and personal expression.
As the industry progresses, we can anticipate witnessing more innovative and captivating styling concepts in fashion photography. By embracing these trends wholeheartedly, the certified fashion stylist along with the fashion industry is emerging as an influential platform for displaying artistic expression and fostering social change while celebrating beauty in all its diverse forms. Things I Like About Being A Guy That Got Fat On Purpose.
I think after my last text post I should post something more positive in relation to weight gain. I have been gaining or at least trying to for several years but it wasn't until the pandemic that I really started to grow.
I am now about 210 ish, it fluctuates but it doesn't go lower than that. I'm also like 5'7 so i look 230+.I wear a size 38 x 32 in pants... but I might actually be at 40. I was wearing XL's in shirts but over the past 3 months I've been wearing XXL's. I do go for looser clothes otherwise L-XL would be fine. I think looser just works for me cuz I have generalized anxiety disorder and I need to feel like I can breathe so the looser the better. It's kind of funny how huge that sounds because the fit on my clothes is very regular despite my description of it being loose. I also feel like the way looser shirts drape over my body my boobs look a lot bigger, I mean they are but it's not so obvious when I’m shirtless but it's very noticeable when I’m clothed. I'm kinda self conscious but i've also gotten to the point where I don't really care. I also like that i'm wearing the last size that a lot of stores carry (which is probably going to be really annoying soon). I bought from a plus size store twice this year (it's still 2024 as of writing this) Once when buying a suit for a friends wedding and then I bought some random sweater. both fit and looked really good on me.
I feel more confident the bigger I get. I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe I just feel more sure of myself. Maybe when you're bigger you *have* to be more sure of yourself. I also think that after making content for so long I just dgaf about a lot of things. There really isn't anything that someone can say to me thats gonna make me not like myself or getting bigger. It's just kinda who I am now.
This is a somewhat recent observation and maybe it's a healthy one but, A lot of times as a gainer you are comparing yourself to other gainers. So you may be thinking things like "oh he eats so much more than me", or "I wish I was that big", or "I wish my capacity was bigger." however, if you compare yourself to someone who isn't a gainer you'll feel a lot bigger and you'll realize how you're eating like 5x more than a regular person, and doing so very easily. Regular people aren't eating whole pizzas, half a dozen burgers, liters of soda regularly. Regular people are likely trying to fit within a 2500 calorie diet range. A lot of gainers eat that before lunch lol. The first time I noticed this (I don't get out much) is when I was out with my friends a few months ago, we went to the movies, then dinner after. We went to an indian restaurant which obviously meant there was a lot of food. I really enjoyed it and I ate a lotttt but everyone else got full very quickly and had to get a to go box. I was the only one that didn't lol. (I need fat friends, or gainer friends irl, ik that's not possible for me rn tho).
Another thing is that people will want to cuddle you. You're just automatically considered to be more cuddly or huggable. People also seem to wanna squish me lol. one of my friends has rubbed my belly while cuddling in the movie theatre several times he's also grabbed my boobs so many times. so that's fun.
there's probably more things. lmk if I should write more. I’m gonna end this here. cuz i'm writing this on 0 sleep lol.

Fat-shaming – the act of criticising or drawing attention to someone’s weight, body type or eating habits – is pretty much a universal problem. Fatphobia is built into our day-to-day lives – the clothes we wear, the healthcare we receive, the TV shows we watch. Still, if there is one occasion in India where this nasty version of bullying shows up in all its glory, it’s the wedding day. Fat-shaming brides is disturbingly common in India. An Indian doctor who advocates sexual health, went viral for pulling up a fashion brand for its discriminatory behaviour. She’d written about how the staff “looked at me up and down and asked, ‘oh you are getting married?’ as if I’m inherently unmarriageable.”

Bommala Koluvu for Navaratri
Navaratri (Nava = nine, ratri = night), followed by Dussehra, is one of my favorite festivals of the year. I have many memories associated with it. Since my early teenage years, my mother and I would arrange a ‘Bommala Koluvu’ (Bommalu = dolls/idols, koluvu = arrangement) at home. Although it took almost a whole day to set up the steps and the idols/dolls, it was worth it. We would perform Pooja and other rituals in front of the Koluvu for all 10 days.
Note: Usually, in the culture that I come from, ‘Bommala Koluvu’ is observed during the festival of Sankranti but it can be observed during Navaratri and Deepavali, as well. My mother did this for both Sankranti and Navaratri.
Normally, people have the steps pre-built so that they don’t have to be arranged each for each festival it is used for. However, in our home, the steps were arranged differently. My mother did want to be restricted by the uniform size of the steps, which she would be if she had them built. She, instead, kept a few of our old furniture, like center tables, side tables and some cardboard boxes and used them specifically for the Bommala Koluvu. My mother and I would then cover the steps with a white or off-white cloth so the dolls would show up. We had almost 5 or 6 large moving boxes full of the dolls we would use to arrange on the steps. The set up of the steps and the white cloth would take most of our time. Arranging the dolls was the easy part.
What is the meaning behind this tradition?
The significance behind this tradition is that it pays homage to Goddess Mahishasura Mardhini (an avatar of Goddess Durga) who fought an epic battle against the demon, Mahishasura. It is Her victory that is celebrated during Navaratri. Another meaning behind the Bommala Koluvu is to tell multiple stories from South Indian mythology. It can range from scenes from Ramayan, Mahabharat, Srimad Bhagavatam and Krishna Leela. Some modern arrangements have specific themes like Sri Krishna Leela which focuses on stories ranging from Krishna’s birth to his marriages.
One of our family friends once did a Lord Ganesha themed Bommala Koluvu. In our home, we arrange a Vrindaavan on one side which shows all of Lord Krishna’s childhood. On the other side, we would arrange Kailasam (Lord Shiva’s abode) and in the middle we would arrange seven steps where each step would be dedicated to a Hindu God. For example, the first step would be for Goddess Durga and her avatars., the second step for Ashta Lakshmi (Ashta = 8), the third step for Lord Vishnu, and etc.
The best part of this tradition is that you can be as creative as you like. There are no rules on how the dolls should be arranged. And there are no restrictions as to what kind of idols and dolls you want to put in your Bommala Koluvu. You can even include some of your show pieces to make it look even more pretty!
Cultural Aspect
Bommala Koluvu is a great way to teach young children about our ancient culture, traditions, customs, mythology and the Puranas. It is also a creative of storytelling with live visuals. When dolls/idols are arranged this way, kids will be curious to learn more about each character and scenario being depicted. Plus, it also gives kids a chance to participate in the worship of Goddess Durga.
Social Significance
In the past, Hindu families were very orthodox which meant that women were did have the time to step out and catch up with friends. Moreover, some women were not permitted to leave the house as well.
The best part about Bommala Koluvu is that whoever is hosting invites friends, relatives, neighbors and so on. This is my favorite part because it meant that all our friends and relatives from all over California used to come over to our home and spend the whole night catching up with each other. This tradition ensures that friendships become stronger and helps women maintain their friendships since they can get caught up in their personal lives.
Economic Significance
India is an agricultural country where traditions like Bommala Koluvu and agriculture are related. Back in the day, the idols, dolls, and other items featured in a Bommala Koluvu were made with clay, wood, wax, glass, stone, etc. and were painted with natural paints. India is also home to many traditional handicrafts such as terracotta, Kondapalli, cloth dolls and more.
By purchasing these handcrafted items for Bommala Koluvu, the artists are encouraged to make more of them each season. All of the idols we have a home are made of clay, glass, and wood. We also have Kondapalli Bommalu (dolls) that have been passed down from my great grandmother. Another perk to purchasing these handcrafted, natural items is that they are eco-friendly!
Although arranging the dolls was tiring, catching up with friends, relatives and neighbors was made all the hard work worth it. Plus, there would a lot of leftover good food which we would eat for the next couple of days.
I hope you all enjoyed getting to more about this fun little tradition! Comment down below about a tradition you follow at your home for Navaratri!

Kaleesh week
Day 3
Demigods
Tumblr media
@tuberculosis-bot-9000
Well I love classic demigods duo, but Kalee planet with rich religion and culture, so welcome to come fanons about it!
Introduce Jeevit auz Bahan (for au with @komorebi-art-blog), Siamese twins with one name and living as one person, Saint from born.
Siamese twins in Kaleesh folklore can be interesting. They have cult of bones and death, of course without life and meat it won't be full, but bones more important... for our fanons their ancestors gods can be made from founding fossilized bones, and all gods drawn as a skeletons. But bones can be more than from one animal, or just in strange location according to each other, and in order not to disturb the dead, Kaleesh do not try hard to figure it out. So strange skeleton with more bones, or bones not in right place is just wow! And Siamese twins is perfect proof that this is possible!
And in period of later Huk war more such anomalies. Kaleesh thinks that it's just signs from goods, that they are all doing right, they can be defeated, even spirits helping them. Most of this children die fast, but it's totally fine! Spirits should come into the world for a short time, this is still the world of the living, they only came to look and bless them.
But real reasons more brutal. We with Komo thinking a lot WHAT exactly started hunger on Kalee... and what if in last years, when Huks just wanted to survive in front of counterattack, they use chemical weapon? Something like Agent Orange in Vietnam... it explains why later Kaleesh even needed to move on Oben, Kalee is poisoned a lot... and this make not only hunger, but diseases and many ill children.
And Jeevit auz Bahan sisters from this category. Them kinda lucky by having not so brutal splice and only skin anomaly (it very sensitive and specially for ultraviolet in dark places, so they literally can't abandon their home, cause Iminec and wind are painfull), but they still alive and from born live inside the temple to give anyone hope. They are artistic and can act like real gods, it's their duty, they can't imagine another life. And they love it. Hard, yes, really hard, but all on Kalee living hard, so they need too and make everyone else life better. Even when they just read sermons or something.
And some details, more about clothes. Kaleesh religion says that everyone has to cover max of the body, even hands. But in Eyes Of the Revolution we see a priest with uncovered hands and in veeeery plus size clothes. Maybe only religious ministers have to uncover themselves? This detail of the dress code radically distinguishes them from everyone else, their flesh can see the world even before death and decay (only in death Kaleesh is undressed so that the body quickly rots and becomes bones). So twins have minimum clothes for everyone to see that they are really one body but two skeletons.
Their mask was not so long head of Animal that was living spirit in that temple before them. Beast with parasitic head. Ofc only this Animal can be protector of Bahan, so them kill old mutant turning him asleep.
And why is their clothes black. We think White color on Kalee means death and maybe even mourning (indian moment, and some Grievous). Color of the bones. But black is means life. Kaleesh not afraid of night and dark so black can be positive. Black is color of old blood and in night their jungle nature comes alive. So Bahan as ALIVE spirit uses it as symbol of resurrection. Resurrection of Kalee in this hard ages.

ugh the european sizes post is SO TRUE. i lived in europe for a couple of years as a size 8 girl with boobs and an ass and lemme tell you, shopping for clothes felt like i was committing a crime by merely existing 😭😭😭 buying cute and well-fitted dresses/tops/skirts was impossible. i also have a friend from India who travels a lot for her job and she saves her entire "western clothes" yearly shopping budget for her US trips bc acc to her as plus size girl she can't get that kind of proper fit, variety in styles and good quality anywhere else, including India! apparently a lot of western clothing brands in India traditionally ape the UK/Europe in terms of size and fit. absolutely insane bc indian body types run to the curvy, even if you're size 4 or less, these european sized clothes might "fit" technically but won't look good bc they'll be too tight here and too loose there. i believe its getting better now but its still US brands supremacy if you're a remotely curvy or fat girl!
BRO I KEEP ON SAYING!
It makes me SO self-conscious trying to shop with European designers like no, I do not have a 25" bust, thanks for playing. The thing is, I'm a small person and at high end American places like Marc Jacobs and more mid-end stores like JCrew, I'm a 4 or MAYBE a 6, even while I also have DDs, and that simply doesn't carry over into Euro sizes because they're apparently convinced that no women exist who are over a size 2 and a B-cup.
Christian Siriano is a designer who really GETS women's bodies like he understands that a woman who's my size will have relatively narrow shoulders even if she has big boobs so he makes his blazers have room in the chest to stretch without making them way wider. I simply can't just buy a size 12 and tailor down because it'll look super boxy and I'm not paying hundreds of dollars to tailor every item of clothing I own.

Websites like Hatkay.com, for instance, offer an extensive collection of high-quality sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, and more, along with global shipping options. What to Look for in an Online Store: Diverse Selection: A wide range of clothing styles, sizes, and designs to suit different occasions. Consider Your Style and Occasion Indian clothing offers a diverse range of styles, making it essential to choose an outfit that aligns with the occasion. Whether you’re searching for a saree for a wedding or a kurti for everyday wear, selecting the right attire ensures both elegance and comfort. Here are some of the most popular Indian clothing styles to consider: Sarees – Timeless and graceful, sarees are perfect for weddings, festivals, and formal events. Lehengas – A go-to choice for brides and wedding guests, lehengas exude grandeur and elegance. Anarkali Suits – Flowing and regal, these suits are ideal for formal gatherings, weddings, and festive occasions. Salwar Kameez – A stylish yet comfortable option, suitable for both casual outings and celebrations. Kurti Sets – Modern and versatile, perfect for daily wear, work attire, or casual gatherings. Fusion Wear – A contemporary take on traditional fashion, great for cocktail parties and semi-formal events. By selecting your outfit based on the occasion, you can ensure a polished and confident look, no matter where you’re headed. #3. Choose the Right Fabric The fabric of your Indian attire plays a crucial role in both comfort and style. When shopping online, you’ll find a variety of fabrics, each suited for different occasions and seasons. Understanding the qualities of each material will help you make the right choice: Silk – Luxurious and elegant, silk is the perfect choice for weddings, festive occasions, and grand celebrations. Cotton – Light, breathable, and comfortable, making it ideal for casual wear and warm weather. Georgette – Flowing and lightweight, this fabric is great for evening wear, cocktail parties, and semi-formal gatherings. Chiffon – Soft and delicate, often used in sarees and evening gowns for an effortlessly graceful look. Velvet – Rich, warm, and heavy, making it a perfect option for winter weddings and formal evening events. Crepe – Versatile and lightweight, commonly found in salwar kameez and kurtis, suitable for both casual and formal wear. Net – Sheer and delicate, often used in bridal outfits, lehengas, and evening gowns for a sophisticated, ethereal look. When choosing your fabric, consider the season and occasion. Opt for breathable cotton in summer, while silk and velvet work well for winter or festive events. Selecting the right material ensures that your outfit is not only stylish but also comfortable to wear. #4. Understand the Sizing and Fit Photo: Kaboompics.com/Pexels Indian clothing sizes can vary across different retailers, so it’s essential to check the store’s size guide before making a purchase. Unlike Western sizing, which tends to follow standardized measurements, Indian outfits may have their own sizing charts, especially for tailored garments like sarees, lehengas, and salwar kameez sets. Sizing Tips for a Perfect Fit Take accurate measurements – Measure your bust, waist, and hips to compare with the store’s size chart. If possible, use a soft measuring tape for precision. Check the return policy – In case the outfit doesn’t fit as expected, ensure the store offers an easy return or exchange process. Opt for customization when available – Many online stores provide tailoring services to create a perfect fit based on your measurements. Order in advance – For special occasions like weddings, give yourself enough time for potential alterations or adjustments. #5. Read Customer Reviews Customer reviews are essential when shopping for Indian clothes online, as they provide real insights into quality, fit, and delivery. They help assess fabric, stitching, and sizing accuracy, ensuring you choose the right outfit. Additionally, reviews highlight shipping times, packaging, and customer service experiences, including returns or alterations. For a better understanding, look for detailed reviews with photos. By checking feedback before purchasing, you can shop confidently and avoid surprises. #6. Look for Discounts and Offers Many online stores provide seasonal sales, discount codes, and exclusive offers, making it easier to find high-quality Indian clothing at great prices. Watch for flash sales, festival promotions, and wedding season discounts to maximize savings. Shopping during national holidays can also unlock special deals, helping you get the best value without compromising on style or quality. #7. Secure Payment Options Always ensure the online store provides secure payment options such as credit cards, PayPal, or other trusted gateways. Check for SSL encryption on the checkout page to safeguard your payment details and ensure a safe shopping experience. #8. Shipping and Delivery Photo: Kindel Media/Pexels Before finalizing your purchase, review the delivery time and shipping costs. Many online stores with international shipping provide tracking details, allowing you to monitor your order from dispatch to arrival. If you need the outfit for a special occasion, ensure the estimated delivery time aligns with your schedule. Why Order Indian Clothes Online?
