it just delights me that Dolly Parton is so universally adored among librarians that she gets referenced in book moving furniture both sides of the pond - Dolly Carton in the US and Trolley Parton in the UK

for Echoes of Wisdom, im really curious. Will we get the Master Sword?? Like at first I would think that it wouldn't be in the game at all, as not all zelda games even have it, but seeing the Deku Tree is making me think...

Maybe Zelda can't wield it, as she's not link, but like.... what if she made an echo of it 👀

The new Legend of the Condor Heroes is great fun. But it is Not for newcomers, I’m not even sure it’s a drama, they are going HAM with the pacing — absolutely speed running two generations of backstory, adoption, brotherhood, blinding, vendettas, poisonings, misunderstandings, master killing, revenge vows, invasion and wife snatching…400 miles per hour of story beats in like the first 5-10 mins — not even Guo Jin’s life in Mongolia was covered! They get to the mainland in 15 mins! Rong’er immediately lays her head on Guo Jin’s shoulder the second she revealed herself as a woman on the boat! This is the most bizarre pacing???!?! This is setting up zero relationships between key characters and not building up personal identity to be conflicted with upbringing v heritage so unable to juxtapose the protag’s loyalties between the Mongolian grasslands and Song China at a later juncture? There is simply no way for a normal person to follow the story at the rate of 30 characters being introduced within the first 30 mins? I am getting whiplash—

Digitalised + coloured + redesigned version of my Suiren and Vaatu sketch from two days ago, as promised!!

Coming up with Suiren’s design was a very long process of trying and failing because after you’ve drawn 9+ different versions of one character, the creativity starts to run a little dry, but I’m actually really proud of this one, she looks absolutely adorable <3

(Also yeah I did mostly just scribble Vaatu’s pattern because who has the energy to draw the all out accurately. Not me, that’s who, I’m chronically tired. People who draw him on the regular have my utmost respect. He’s still a funky little guy though :D)
