So I've been speed-running Booboo through the Heavensward with his silly little hat after the ARR skip I got and have been breaking my shit laughing at when the game force-removes his silly little hat.

spoilers below the cut (also long ass post)

Come out of The Vault: hat. Just a few scenes later in the same cutscene: remove hat. Too sad to have silly hat.

Strolling into a dining hall: hat. Again, mere moments later in the Same Cutscene: No hat. Too scary for hat.

Saving Estinien? Serious business. No hat.

Facing down the other 3 city states in a war games? Serious! Business! no hat allowed >:/

You know what's not serious?? Apparently??? Going on what is almost certainly a date with one of if not the most powerful man in Ishgard. And receiving a gift from a mourning father. The gift being the shield that broke protecting Booboo the idiot sonboy.

And you know what's absolutely Not a serious moment at all?
