ah yes..... Black Friday

some countries have upstanding traditions

others have centuries-long precedents and attitudes defined by dozens of generations worth of living

but the US? we've got a semi-holiday based around companies rolling in the dough enough to be able to offer the consumers amazing deals, leading to one of two times you will be warned if you need to go to the store

I love our stupid culture that just works /aff

#just to make sure we're clear: this whole post is made in appreciation of humankind's ability to make a Happiness out of anything #the US has certainly got some problems #but it's still one of the better countries to live in #you mustn't ever look past the variety of breathtaking landscapes around ever corner you turn #and the rights all humans have been and will be entitled to #we CAN critisise our government for what it does wrong #and most importantly it's not terribly hard to unite to bring change #be it good or bad #plus it's got a really funny culture that everyone can poke lighthearted fun at #the talkies tag
