honestly I have never been a huge fan of the lesbian Kouyou headcanon since her romantic feelings for a man are kind of massively important to her backstory?? and sure I know some people might view that as an instance of comphet. but that moment when the man she loved was killed and she wasn’t able to escape the pm with him is clearly the root of her hatred of love. and personally I don’t think that works as well if she didn’t actually love him? anyway bisexual Kouyou is what I’m saying here

#obviously ppl can hc whatever they want it doesn’t matter #i just think it usually stems from a shallow understanding of her character #plus it honestly feels like a lot of the time ppl see a cold-hearted woman in fiction and race to throw the lesbian label at her #and sometimes i even like those hcs! but other times it just feels like watering a character down to one trait #and calling that trait ‘lesbian’ instead of ‘mean’#kouyou #bsd #max is speaking
