the vibes are Dendro and Sumeru today... hear me out
you've been a student at the Akademiya for a few years now, joining the Rtawahist Darshan to pursue your dream of studying the stars and everything above Teyvat. most people commended you for your study habits- others called you "too enthusiastic" or "nosy" due to your habit of covering all bases. you simply would respond that it wasn't exactly your fault that so many mysteries of the sky were rooted in structures and ruins on Teyvat- you'd go to the darkest depths if it meant unveiling even one well-kept secret.
so it really shouldn't have been a surprise when you eventually did end up uncovering a secret- a big fluffy purple secret.
to be honest, you're not even sure how it happened. one minute you were exploring some ruins, solving puzzles, and deciphering scrambled text on the walls, and the next moment there's a huge monster looming over you, mask-like face gleaming crimson even in the dim light. except it doesn't seem to want to attack or harm you at all, merely shaking the dust from its fur and kneeling to your height to get a closer look. apparently the creature likes what it sees, too, because its singular crystalline eye shines in delight as it lets out what sounds like a purr, and tentatively you crack a smile to be met with a joyful chitter.
this odd beast- Foul Legacy, you soon learn- follows you into the daylight, despite how the sun hurts his eye from so long spent in the dark. he's curious about everything, nudging at the books in your hands and watching as you scribble down key phrases and sketches and most of all, never leaving your side. and you, in all your tired scholarly glory, hesitantly pat his head and allow him to stay- he's not hurting anyone, although you're not sure how in the world you're going to get him into the Akademiya, since neither of you seem to want to leave the other behind.
seems that you did unearth a mystery, although not from the stars as you hoped to- no, from the Abyss at the very bottom of Teyvat.

Hello saw your requests were open! may I request Inazuma boys plus scaramouche/Wanderer with a cute and very bubbly s/o that has a habit of collecting flower petals and throwing them in the air and showering them on themselves and they also do it with the boys too as a sign of affection towards them🌸🌸
Some good o'l cream puff fluffiness pls
Sorry, this took me a bit longer to write (even though it was short). I hope you enjoy it!
Summary: GN! Reader with the Inazuman boys who tosses flower petals into the air as a sign of love.
Characters: Wanderer/Scaramouche, Kazuha, Thoma, Itto, Gorou, Ayato, Heizou
Warning: Not proofread.
He had a habit of pretending all of your antics annoyed him. Whenever you'd come skipping over and hug him, he would roll his eyes (but still hug you back). This one particular time, your actions surprised him so much, that he had no time to act annoyed, simply surprised, and a bit flustered.
The Wanderer was collecting herbs and mushrooms for food later in the evening, when he came across you. You had both when your separate ways to cover more ground and find more food, and you were supposed to meet back in a few minutes, but when you had not made it back yet, he decided to go in the direction you went to and make sure you were ok.
That's when he saw you sitting with several Sumeru Rose’s around you. Well, their stems. The petals were on your lap. You held a rose that still had all of its petals and you were plucking them carefully.
You had yet to notice him, and since you were ok, he decided to head back and start making your meal for the evening. You were the better cook, but he could manage. As he cooked his mind wandered to you. What were you doing all those sumeru roses and plucking the petals out? He knew you were up to something so he kept himself on guard just in case he found himself a victim of your surprise attacks.
He finished with the meal and covered the pot up sitting by the fire. He tensed when he heard the ground crunch behind him and he turned around swiftly.
His vision was blurred by falling petals all around him and his ears recognized your giggles. When the petals showering around you both had dissipated he stared at you in shock.
You giggled as you walked up and picked a petal off his hat and tossed it up making it float down.
“What was that for?” He asked you, staring at you with confusion.
You shrugged and bent down below his hat to place a kiss on his cheek, “Because I love you.”
He couldn’t help but blush as he took his hat off and brought you in for a hug, “You idiot, what if I attacked you thinking you were an enemy!”
You giggled happily as you hugged him back, “You knew it was me. IT was fine.”
He sighed and tightened his grip around you. You were still such a mystery to him, but you both had plenty of time to find out each other’s secrets.
Kazuha adored your bubbly personality. He was so fond of your positive outlooks and your giggles always made him chuckle. Your happiness was contagious. It was one of the reasons he loved you so much. Most of the time he could guess what you were about to do when you tried to sneak a hug or a kiss or something of the sort, but this time it was at the last minute when he finally realized what his dearest (y/n) was about to do.
Kazuha walked at a slower pace as you kept kneeling down to collect fallen branches from the sakura trees. He had looked at you strangely at first, but he didn’t question it too much. You were not putting yourself in danger, so it was nothing to be worried about.
“Kazuha!” You called him over.
He looked back at you and was thoroughly confused when he saw you had no more branches. Your hands were behind your back and you had a mischievous glint to your eyes. Something was up.
He smiled, “Yes, my dear?”
“Come over here.” You fidgeted with excitement.
Kazuha walked over and stood in front of you. Ah he knew what was about to happen now.
You stood on your tiptoes and placed a kiss on your lips as you brought your hands up and let the petals fall around you. He grabbed you by the waist and smiled looking around, “Quite the spectacle, (Y/N).”
You threw your arms around him and smiled, “You seemed a bit distracted and I wanted to cheer you up.”
“I feel much better now.” To tell the truth, it wasn’t the flowers that you threw, but rather the meaning he knew they held. You loved him, and wanted him to feel better. You wanted to show him the beauty of the world.
His life hasn;t been perfect up until that point, but with you in it, what more could he ask for?
Kazuha cupped ur cheek as he brought you in for a gentle kiss. When he pulled away he chuckled as he brushed some petals from your head, “thank you, (y/n).”
You and Thoma worked in the Kamisato Estate together. Usually you worked on different rooms, but whenever you did have the chance to work in the same area, Thoma could not ask for more. What was usually work or a chore became something fun with you. It was like magic.
Thoma saw you in the courtyard collecting some flowers that would regularly be considered a weed and the gardeners would rip from the soil and toss. It was both of your lunch breaks, and Thoma had been trying to find you hoping you could enjoy this time together.
He then saw you stand up and threw petals up in the air, spinning as they showered around you.
You were truly something brought down from celestia to bless the mortal world. There was no other explanation for how ethereal you always looked. And now with your adorable smile and the petals falling over you, Thoma couldn't help but allow himself to stare for a bit longer.
When the petals had finally settled on the ground you knelt down and picked some more flowers up, plucking the petals and placing them on your lap. Thoma sat down in an area you wouldn't notice him as he watched you too.
When you had a decent amount, you gently picked them up, careful not to spill or let some fly in the wind.
Thoma decided maybe it was time you both actually ate lunch so he looked down and gathered his things. It happened in a flash but next thing he knew, there were petals floating all around him.
He looked up and saw you standing there in front of him, “You’re terrible at hiding.”
Thoma chuckled as he handed you your lunch, “Ah yes it seems that whenever i’m around you it’s a bit harder to focus on anything else.”
You blushed and smiled, “Someone’s romantic today.”
He placed a chaste kiss on your lips and placed his arms on your waist as he walked you to your usual lunch spot.
LIving on the road with the gang was already all Itto could ever ask for, but when you joined, his life became even better. Your personalities resonated perfectly. You were both bubbly and optimistic, and you both loved to compete. And after one time when you showered a small amount of petals on him, he had accepted that as who could gather and throw more petals. And so the time began when Inazuma saw a flower shortage.
Itto chuckled to himself as he sat up in a tree, holding a sack full of petals and waiting for you to pass under him. When you were passing he tipped the sack and you screamed and tripped as the petals buried your body under them.
Itto laughed loudly, “Itto, thirteen, (Y/n) twelve.” he said looking down at you struggling to get out of the pile of petals.
He hopped down from the tree and knelt in front of you smiling as you swam out, “No fair. I call a foul since I almost drowned.”
“Oh no you don’t!” He narrowed his eyes with a pout and effortlessly lifted your body onto his shoulder.
YOu kicked around giggling, “Let me go!!”
He set you down gently.
“Now walk.” You smirked.
Anyone normal would know something was up, But this is Itto we’re talking about so he just kept walking without question.
He activated a trip wire which caused several cannons to blast petals around you both. Itto face was shocked and he then sighed, “Aw man we’re back to having a tie!’
You playfully smacked him, “I told you last time it was a foul.”
Itto shook his head, causing more petals to go from his hair to float down around him, “No no no! I don’t agree with these terms.”
“Let’s ask Kuki then.” You crossed your arms. It started as a loving gesture, but you weren’t about to lose to him.
“Fine.” Itto agreed.
You both walked back, Itto taking the lead, then you deciding you wouldn't fall behind so you took the lead, and so on and so forth until you made it back to camp and began arguing on who made it there first.
You had made it a game to surprise Gorou before he could catch you with his superhuman senses. You had yet to win one of these, he always knew where you were hiding and what you were planning. Whether it was tackling him with a hug or attacking him with kisses. This time, however, although he knew where you were he had no idea what you intended on doing
Gorou sat underneath the tree, looking over some battle notes Kokomi had written for him. He knew you were sitting on the tree branch above him. He would hear your giggles yards away. But, he decided to not spoil your fun yet.
He assumed you would throw yourself down on his lap, or something of the sort, but then petals started landing on his notebook.
First he brushed them off, hearing your offended quiet gasp. He frowned, unsure of what that was for.
More petals drifted around him. His ears perked up. Wait a second, there was no wind and this wasn’t a tree with flowers so where would these petals be coming from. He looked up to see what you would be doing and smiled a little when he saw what it was you had planned.
When you caught him looking, you giggled and jumped down next to him, “did you catch me this time?”
“Well, I wouldn’t say I knew what you were up to, but I knew you were up there.”
You pumped your first into the air, “One step closer!”
He pulled you in and nuzzled your face noses together. You smelled like flowers and grass, and your eyes sparkled with joy and hope. It encouraged him to keep Inazuma safe, for you. The one who loved.
Ayato was always busy with important matters, and it left not a lot of time for you both to see each other. Maybe some evenings when he didn't arrive once you were already asleep or a lucky lunch break. Lately he has noticed an excessive amount of flower petals scattered around the house...
Ayato had spent the good part of his 30-minute lunch break looking for you. He had looked in your room, with Ayaka, with Thoma, in the kitchen, in the lounge room, and anywhere else people could commonly find you.
Just as he was about to give up, he noticed your familiar hair color pointing out from some tall hedges of grass. Curious as to what you were doing, he quietly approached you.
He leaned over you, and noticed you were collecting flowers, The same flowers that had left the flower petals all over his office. He finally understood. He chuckled lightly as he watched you for a few moments before kneeling beside you and whispering "boo" into your ear.
You squeaked and looked over hiding the flowers, "Ayato!?"
He grabbed your wrist causing your hand to open and spill the petals. Hou smiled sheepishly, "I wanted to be your secret cheer up fairy."
He laughed and kissed your lips, "You cheer me up enough as it is (Y/n). Now come on, it's time to eat lunch."
"Wait." You brough your other hand which was still behind you back above both of you and opened your hand, the petals falling between you both, "Bibidy Boo, all you worries go woosh!"
Ayato laughed and helped you up, "I already feel much better." he admitted as he led you inside to have lunch.
As a detective, he was able to pick out clues and figure out what was happening with little to no evidence. He loved being around you, he found himself having to double check himself and his assumptions since you were so random sometimes. This was one of those moments
Heizou stepped into your shared home and found a trail of petals leading towards your shared room. He frowned. You usually greeted him with a smile and a hug, but today the house was quiet and you were nowhere to be seen.
"(Y/n)." He called out. He gathered a fistful of anemo to make his punch have more force as he looked around for any suspicious signs of break ins or something of the sort.
Nothing seemed to be touched or mover. Perhaps he was overreacting. He heard shuffling from your shared room, and he walked over, still on high alert for anything.
He opened the door and was surprised when he saw petals falling very him. You sat on the bed giggling as you watched your contraption so its thing.
Heizou looked at you with a confused smile, "And what might this be?"
"It's so you feel happier after a long day of work. The petals r your favorite color and the smell is supposed to be calming.
he noticed the smell then. It seems you had made your own oils from the flowers and had some leftovers you had decided to sprinkle of him. Although strange, he appreciated your thoughtfulness and love.
He crawled on top of you on the bed and placed many kisses over your face as you giggled, "Well, I feel much better now. Thak you." he sighed as he lay beside you, and you curled into him. More than the flowers and the petals, nothing compares to having you in his embrace.

Hi! I have two questions about your version of Genshin: First, if you could turn your version into a game, what would its battle system be like? Or would it be the same as the original? What will the role of Childe and Fatuis be in your version?
TYSM for the questions! I love talking about things like my rewrites LOL
So for the battle system, I’d probably have it be turn-based, this could probably be because I just really like turn-based combat, it would be akin to Persona 5’s combat (I’ve only been able to play P5) or Baldur’s Gate 3 combat (Cause I’m obsessed with that game)
And an unrelated side tangent (Sorry I just love yapping LMFAO) I would have the OST be various jazz subgenres (Cause I absolutely love jazz and it has so many subgenres)
And if the rewrite did have anime openings, I would have the music be songs by 4hero, that resonate with the respective themes of each arc
I even have a list of the songs! I’ll link them in their titles
Escape That - General Series Opening (Would be made after the series ends)
Another Day - Mondstadt arc (First ever opening)
Golden Age of Life - Liyue arc
Hold It Down - Inazuma arc
Look Inside - Sumeru arc
Star Chasers - Fontaine Arc
Natlans arc theme is undecided
Ways of Thought - Snezhnaya arc
Bed of Roses - Abyss arc (Final arc)
I’d def want the openings to be like somewhat trippy, but heavily associated with their arcs (Via imagery)
Now about the Fatui, I definitely don’t want to reveal everything about them from the get-go, it honestly feels like Hoyoverse ruined their mysteriousness by oversaturating the game with Fatui appearances, alongside showcasing every single Harbinger within one video
I would keep them pretty mysterious and slowly tear away the threads to reveal their true nature and how they work
They’re on pretty good terms with the nations at the start of the story, having citizens believe that they have nothing but pure intentions
Some Harbingers are assigned nations to keep a close eye on, just so the nations are secretly monitored
The friendly facade will begin to slip away during the Liyue arc
During the Mondstadt arc, they’ll be foreshadowed
Now they won’t be the cause of every single problem behind the nations, I feel like Inazuma’s plot was shot in the foot because they just had to have the Fatui be the reason Ei’s such a tyrant, I feel like it wouldn’t hurt to just not have Fatui meddling occur in every single freaking major story arc
Now I do have some changes planned from some Harbingers that I can list out as of now
Pierro - I plan on keeping Pierro’s face and plans obscured, I only wish to reveal a bunch of the information surrounding him later on in the series (Since he’ll eventually become a major villain)
There is more about him that I have planned, but I’m hesitant to share, because I am heavily considering turning my rewrite into a webcomic, and I wouldn’t want to spoil major story beats before the rewrite even has a chance to breathe and soar
La Signora - I don’t want her to get killed off early on, cause I feel like that was done by Hoyoverse solely for shock value
Pantalone - He’ll be heavily involved in the Liyue arc
Scaramouche - I don’t want to give him a redemption arc TBH, I feel like my rewrite Childe deserves it more than him
It feels like Scaramouche only got redeemed so he could be extra marketable and whatnot, it feels cheap NGL
Plus I see no harm in a character being consistently a bad person who won’t change their ways, those types of characters are so much fun LOL
Childe - I’m heavily considering getting him a redemption arc where he learns to stand up for himself and to surround himself with the right crowd, as I feel like making him be a really recent newbie, who most of the Harbingers do not like
I plan on having the Fatui be the antagonists, but not the ultimate orchestrators
Oh and each arc will have a main group/team (OFC my Persona 5 hyperfixation is leaking in LOL)
I have the Mondstadt crew planned out, here’s the list
-Lumine
-Jean
-Venti
-Kaeya
-Lisa
-Amber
-Razor
Oh and my notes for my rewrite is super long LOL, my friend likes to call it “The Genshin Bible”
Anyway thanks for the ask! I really love rambling about my projects!

the free characters’ stories and the plot
first genshin theorypost on this blog yeehaw
anyway. all three of the free characters have some kind of unresolved mystery in their character stories, which leads me to believe that those mysteries will eventually become important. since they were introduced in the prologue, which pointedly isn’t chapter one, and are given directly to us without needing to roll, it wouldn’t be too big of a stretch to have the loose threads in their backgrounds tie into the main story itself, right?
so we have:
amber’s grandpa and his mysterious disappearance
kaeya’s past and the circumstances beyond what we know
what lisa saw to make her so fearful of power
thoughts under the cut
amber’s grandpa: we know only that he left behind his sword and his coat of arms and left one day, but we have no idea what could have happened to make him leave so suddenly, especially considering his love of mondstadt, the outriders, and his granddaughter. there are a few possibilities here, most of which i see as having the fatui involved.
he was brainwashed, manipulated, or controlled somehow: very likely due to how out of character the disappearance was. perhaps seeing his ability, the fatui harbingers wanted him on their side and turned him into a puppet to their will. additionally, in this image of the different harbingers’ symbols, one of the low ranking members
he willingly left to join the fatui: the fatui blatantly have goals beyond just being evil, and in childe’s voicelines, he says that the tsaritsa dreams of peace. amber’s grandpa’s desire to protect people may have led him to leave his past behind and join them if he had learned of what their true goals were.
regardless of which possibility it is, i believe that we will eventually meet amber’s grandpa in the story and we will likely have to fight him as a harbinger.
kaeya’s past: people have spoken on this before, but his homeland being khaenri’ah, the mysterious eighth nation that seems to have been ravaged by a disaster and vanished long before modern day, along with how it’s foreshadowed to be the final land the traveler has to venture to, makes him a prime candidate for plot importance.
kaeya as a spy: this is explicit in his backstory, though it seems he’s turned his back on actively spying. what i want to know, though, is why they thought a fairly young child would make a good spy, especially when the plan seemed not to involve anyone from khaenri’ah ever returning to gather intel from him.
expanding on this, i believe kaeya might actually have dainsleif’s eye. they both cover the same one, and i feel like dainsleif is more than human. perhaps with an eye of his placed in the normal world of teyvat and not the separated world of khaenri’ah, dainsleif gains an omniscience of what is happening there, and that’s why he serves as the narrator and knows a little too much despite seemingly being busy as the bough-keeper within khaenri’ah
kaeya himself probably doesn’t understand it fully, since he was probably too young at the time to be told about it, but it would explain how he’s a spy
kaeya as nobility: some people have speculated that’s he’s of royal or noble blood in khaenri’ah due to the names on his skills. i’m not super sure about that; i think i need a little more support for this before i go all in on it.
what lisa saw: this requires a bit more explaining than the other two. though her stories say explicitly “Having witnessed raving-mad scholars in the forests of Sumeru and powerful sages sitting underutilized advisory councils, Lisa realized what uninhibited erudition can really do to a person. It seemed such a high price to pay... How much did one have to sacrifice to attain the profoundest knowledge at all? Put off by this realization, Lisa decided to leave Sumeru.” this seems a tad vague and general for her deep-seated avoidance of power
she’s actively cultivating laziness and not using her full power out of a reason i believe to be fear. she’s extremely wary of the visions, and she is also explicitly fearful of the truth behind them and the secrets they carry. the “price” one has to pay for a miracle is mentioned multiple times in her stories and voicelines.
plus, she says this: “ A Vision may seem like a great tool, but one day, the power one accumulates always finds a way to turn back on you. Should such a day come for me, so long as you're around... Ah, never mind.”
i do not actually have that many theories for this one. its still far too vague, but i cannot shake off the nagging feeling that her stories are purposely leaving something out, especially considering how little she likes to talk about why she left sumeru
no evidence for this, but perhaps the abyss itself is involved? maybe she or someone else delved too deep into its mysteries and was left in some worrying condition
i’ll leave you with mona’s voiceline about her: “A Tempus Fugit... The constellation derives its name from the hourglass, and stands for knowledge and time — or rather, the trade-off between them. As each grain of sand falls down, a moment of time — of life, even, dies for good. To stop the unrelenting flow of sand, one would have to turn the hourglass on its side. But once the sand comes to rest, it remains motionless forever... Hmm, maybe 'becomes lazy' is more accurate than 'comes to rest,' in this case.”
tl;dr rarity break system where we can upgrade to five star amber, kaeya, and lisa at a certain point in the story when
