Thought of something fun & weird to discuss, who do you think would win in a Cobra Kai/Percy Jackson crossover fight (out of these match-ups) without using powers & just fighting skill:

Percy VS Miguel

Anabeth VS Sam

Piper VS Tory

Jason VS Hawk

Frank VS Robby

Nico VS Dimitri

Hazel VS Aisha

Thaila VS Daniel

Luke VS Johnny

Hmm well if it’s just fighting skill (and powerless weapons):

Percy, hands down. I’m pretty sure Luke at one point called him a very proficient swordsman, and Miguel thus far hasn’t learned to disarm anyone (that we’ve seen). Plus, if he’s such a good swordsman, Percy would be able to avoid those attempts anyway 😂 Miguel is definitely a great karate fighter and wouldn’t let Percy have an easy victory, but yeah. Percy wins this.

Annabeth’s weapon is her invisibility hat, which has powers, so that’s out. However, she can also swordfight pretty well, and she has a black belt in karate–and, supposedly, this means defense and offense. With all of that combined...sorry, Sam, but Annabeth wins this one.

Tory wins this one. Piper has her dagger, and possibly some fighting knowledge? But Tory definitely knows basic self defense, including disarming someone holding a dagger. Piper probably does too, but Tory also has the advantage of an offense-only fighting style. Then again, Piper is apparently a skilled swordswoman? So...hmm I really don’t know 😂

Hmm well Jason has a sword, and can probably fight with a spear? And Romans in this series are VERY military-oriented, so he’s definitely a force to be reckoned with even without his powers. And, having been raised by an actual wolf (and his mom, but...honestly, his childrearing was mostly his sister iirc, and Thalia was a CHILD herself), he has those aggressive instincts that would prepare him for Hawk’s feral nature. Hawk is very much an aggressive fighter who attacks purely out of rage and nothing else (unlike a fighter like Kreese, whose fighting is more calculated). Jason would be able to counter that, because his fighting is more calculated–Romans are trained to be MORE than mindless rage fighters. So Jason wins.

Without powers, for Frank and Robby...I looked this up, and according to the wiki, Frank is a skilled swordsman, archer, spearman, and hand-to-hand fighter. Sorry Robby, but Frank wins this, hands down 😂

Nico vs Demetri...this one is tricky. We don’t see a lot of his fighting skills, but it’s implied that by TLO (or whenever tf the Battle of Manhattan is), he’s fighting well enough to impress the Ares demigods. So presumably, more offensive. Demetri’s fighting is more defensive. I’m...honestly not sure about this one 😂 let’s just say that, since they have Italian in common (a headcanon for Demetri, but I’m sticking with that), they end in a truce.

Okay, so Hazel is a skilled swordswoman too, and taught Piper successfully (the mark of a master imo). Aisha would definitely give her a fight, but Hazel bested a bunch of more experienced legionnaires. She wins this.

Daniel would probably win against Thalia if he could manage to get to her pressure points. However, Thalia is no idiot and would quickly recognize his strategy. And as a Hunter of Artemis, she’s very skilled in fighting, it’s her whole life. Though Daniel might get a leg up on her if he used the Quicksilver Method...so I’m labeling this as undecided.

Luke wins against Johnny, I think, though Johnny would not go down easy. Luke has fought so many enemies, though, and is such a good swordsman to boot, that I think it’s very unlikely he would lose to Johnny.

Honestly, the demigods and CK kids are different in this respect: the CK kids do this as an after-school activity and haven’t been put in any REAL danger yet. But the demigods literally train to FIGHT FOR THEIR LIVES. So of course they’d be proficient with and without their powers 😂
