#plus a situation where if anyone were to resemble the nunh role

while I never thought Kea to be exclusively into women, I do think think she has a number of hangups specifically when it comes to miqo'te men. It's in large part to do with her discomfort with some of the expectations that traditional Seeker gender roles placed on her, and being reminded of those tends to be awkward at best.
It's like, she has absolutely no problem with miqo'te guys so long as the relationship remains entirely platonic - if their place within her mental found family structure mostly resembles that of a half-brother or a cousin or the like it's all fine. It's when it starts more resembling potential partner or, worse, nunh, that she can end up getting really uncomfortable really quickly.
#kea lurvis#i figure with the kea/arsay crossover AU#what makes it work there is that she had two other partners#to very much gradually ease her into the whole thing#plus a situation where if anyone were to resemble the nunh role#it'd far more likely be either y'shtola or arsay than g'raha#but yeah I still think it definitely took some work there#and even then I think kea wouldn't be intimate with g'raha#unless any of the other two are also present and involved
