i regret several things about my educational choices but the term in undergrad that i spent doing back-to-back persian history and egyptian death arch modules is not one of them

#like I picked the egyptian death arch module knowing i’d find it interesting cos I already loved the subject #but even like six years on i’m still surprised how mych i ended up loving the persian/iranian modules #then again basically everything that was roman history was so fucking cool #and roman history is interesting but i’ve had it shoved down my throat so many times through the years #plus a series of v boring monotonous lecturers on the subject #anyway this general musing is brought to you by sitting staring at my bookcase on 4.5 hours sleep
