how do u think st5 will end? i think eleven will sacrifice herself for will, before he dies, probably mike dies?? her powers would be strong enough to sacrifice and save hawkins. nancy stays single and travels away for a job/collage or something, steve gets himself a girlfriend, finally. please. he wants to be the stay at home mom with his kids. nancy clearly didn’t look like she wants that life cause she doesn’t, i really don’t understand why he’s still stuck on her even after so many years after their breakup, it’s silly. max wakes up. jopper will get married!! pls i need that to come true.. dustin survives vecna’s curse, idk will nancy get possessed too? and who’s the new lady that’s been introduced as a new character?? steve’s mom maybe?? or the mayoress of hawkins?? i want all the town to help the main group but still i don’t want it to be the second avengers endgame pls… omg could vecna possibly use his victims against our main characters? alsoo, i don’t want the ending scene where nancy and steve are in the car saying we’ve seen stranger things, it’s too corny for my liking pls no… and i like the time travel thing idea.. (going back in time so vecna would turned on his dark side.. this would be really easy way out, tho i hope it won’t happen lol?).. i’d really want eddie returning as a vampire, not really like coming from the dead, that would ruin everything probably (even tho i’d wanted it in heartbeat) buuut yk what i mean right? something like billy came back in max’s visions so eddie would come like this to dustin’s visions. the worst possible ending, is blood bath, there’s been a lot demand for a body count. i feel like modern audiences are more into stuff like game of thrones, walking dead.. stuff like that… killing characters casually. i’m not saying i don’t want a character or three dying tho! i’d be happy if they’d killed off two or three of the main characters finally, they always kill a new character that the audience like and then the audience is always mad. why is that?? we’ve already lost bob and eddie. should it be that way?? i’m really scared steve is going to die bc he was supposed to die in s1, if he does die i’m gonna riot against their stupid writing (that brings me getting stancy back together again). pls get him a girlfriend, a happy life he dreams about and don’t let him hang up on nancy anymore, he deserves better.. he’s changed.. also it needs to stay to the 80s show vibes and has the happy ending as well.. what do you think?? what are your thoughts? :D

I had to write down all your thoughts as bullet points so I could acknowledge them in my reply lmao. Loving this elaborate thought blurb! Alright, so I do think there will be some sacrificing going on, I'd see either Will or El doing it for Mike. Part of me thinks one of those two might die, but on the other hand I don't see them doing it. Why? 'Cause it would fuck up Jopper. And they spent a lot of time on Jopper. Hopper can't lose another kid and we've seen how Joyce handled Will's missing. Not saying this is logical, but it's what I think anyway. Maybe an almost death. Like one of them going in knowing they will probably die and saying goodbye- maybe, and then surviving. I feel like Max might get a more important role than we anticipate. Something about her showing up for El at the moment she needs her the most. Like in the mind thing. I'm worried for Lucas, that poor boy is suffering. :( Assuming Jopper survives - which I do think they will - I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Jopper wedding as a way of a corny happy ending. I don't expect anything mindblowing if I'm very honest, the fan theories have been so good that I fear disappointment for most of us lol. And well, considering many things - I also don't really care if it flops. I'll just enjoy seeing some of my sweet characters one last time before their actors go off into bigger and better projects. <3 Anyway, back to it. If they bring back Eddie, it's definitely gonna give us more pain than gain. He'll hurt Dustin, bet. As wonderful as the Kas ideas are, I don't see it happening considering what I mentioned in the previous paragraph. It's too good. I either see him show up in a Vecna vision or some kind of undead army thing. Both will suck. Imagine Dustin, who is literally embodying Eddie right now, is face to face with his dead friend. Yikers. Idk about the new lady, I'm honestly bored out of my ass that they added a new character for the last season. "Here's a new character to care about - or not - but they're gonna die once you get attached!" - so yeah, not many thoughts there. It'll be too brief. I don't see the town doing anything other than vandalize Eddie's grave and somehow find a way to blame the goddamn earthquake on him honestly. Steve and Nancy... fingers crossed it doesn't happen. For me anyway! For those that ship them, good luck getting it your way~ But yeah, I don't see the appeal, but I do feel how they're pushing it onto us hard. It wouldn't surprise me if Steve dies trying to protect Nancy and that we'll get a stupid nugget speech similar to Eddie's sheep speech. I really need that all to not happen. But don't wanna get too deep into ships, I just don't think that outcome would be sensible for either character. That said, Steve getting a partner (an unknown character) would be nice, but if I'm really honest I'd much rather they all leave it open to our interpretation. If we're getting a cliche ending of some future thing, just throw me the Jopper wedding or Steve and Robin (platonically) moving out of Hawkins together, away from that hellhole. This has become a mix of what I think might happen vs what I want to happen I guess, but these are my thoughts! And anyway, no matter what happens, we will always have a 1000+ fixit fics :)

Stranger Things characters as Monster High characters!

yeah this gets kinda tangent-y in some parts but I think my castings r pretty good ! oh n I forgot robin but if I think of smth I’ll add them. <3

el as frankie stein… el is often alienated in the party, taking on the “hero” role. frankie is also often othered, and returns to a place of insecurity when her uniqueness is shed in negative light; this is despite the fact that both of them continue to save the day with their quirks. el with her telekinetic powers and frankie with her handy dandy detachable limbs. Also they are both the leading ladies so yah.

max as cleo de nile… they are two icons. both of them initially are portrayed as bitchy and cold hearted but as you grow with them you see that they are not just one-dimensional, but a legit smite person who is complex and end up as one of your favorite characters.

dustin as ghoulia yelps… adorable geniuses who aren’t always given enough credit and aren’t really taken serious romantically.

will as abbey bominable… since abbey is a transfer she is unfamiliar with lots of the customs and culture at monster high (alienated like frankie). similarly, will byers spent a formative time and is more childish than his friends. not to say that he is immature, he isn’t. he is just at a different place that his friends and still has some catching up. and he’s doing a damn good job.

lucas as duce gorgan… the cutest most supportive boyfriend a girl could ask for. also casket ball legend. yes he is a bit clueless but he’s a jock, give my bby a break. n yes he breaks up with his girlfriend for a stupid reason. (were lucas n max broken up after s3? Idk it felt like it n s4.)

steve as draculaura… the all around bestie who is constantly trying to fix things for her friends. Or alternatively fix their friends up with someone else (See: clawdeen and laura’s cousin vlad and steve giving dustin romantic advice).

billy as nefera de nile… the older sibling who is hated largely fandom-wide w/potential that was never fully reached. because they never were fleshed out we never got to the point where we are with cleo or max.

nancy as cupid… reporter, radio show host, same diff. They mean well and want the best for their community. However they aren’t taken seriously by done people.

erica as howleen wolf… slightly bratty lil sis who is also a kind of a badass. pffft u prob thought I was gonna lump erica n lucas together as siblings. amateurs.

now u might get mad at me in a sec, here me out 🥺

jonathan as jackson jeckle… cute(ish) nerd who is the sweetest baby, you fall for him for his personality. my favorite of will’s “brother” figures.

mike as holt hyde… the cuter of the “brother” figures for will, but he is also more annoying…. would make out w tho. (after s1, mike went downhill as a character.) he is more beloved but he needs to learn to shut up and listen. we get it you need your music (constant talking n everything going ur way) pls just turn it down. i’m not a mike hate acc, but I feel like the duffers are digging the character’s grave. i like mike but his potential is being wasted.

Eddie as andy beast… kinda reclusive, he is not friends with many but is very attached to those who earn his trust. andy also may or may not have been my imaginary boyfriend from age 8-11 🙈

elide x lorcan, modern au, sick fic/domestic fluff, word count: 1874

The clock at the back of his classroom showed that there was two minutes left until lunch. The history teacher knew he’d lost his students three minutes ago, and tossed his printed copy of the PowerPoint onto his meticulously organised desk. “Alright, guys, I think that’s enough for today. Pack up and get out of here, yeah?” 

The sounds of rustling paper and shuffling bags filled the room. Lorcan unplugged his laptop from the projector and clicked it off, pushing the cart back to its corner. He heard his grade twelves’ easy conversations and jokes as they filed out, bidding him good-bye. 

“Bye, Mr. S,” Evangeline called, waving as she walked out, “thank you!” 

“You’re welcome, Evangeline. Have a good day,” Lorcan replied. No one else was in his classroom, so he pushed in the chairs and picked up the stray pencils that had been left. 

He slid his laptop into his bag and slung the leather strap over his shoulder. Lorcan left the blinds down from when they’d been drawn for the video he’d shown and flicked the lights off before he closed and locked the door. 

His hands were shoved in his pockets as he walked to the teacher’s lounge. Lorcan was the first there and he decided to call home, his phone in his back pocket.

As the phone rang, Lorcan grabbed an apple from the bowl of fruit and rinsed it before he ate it.

His fiancée picked up after two rings and sounded even more congested and hoarse than she’d been in the morning, “Hello, love. How’s your day going?” Elide coughed loudly, the sound deep and from her chest, “I’m feeling so much better, honestly, baby. I think I’ll just pop in and teach my last few class–” 

“Lee, you're sick. You'll collapse before you get to the front gate and you know it,” he said, nodding to Rowan, who walked in with Aelin and Lysandra. Nesryn couldn’t have been that far behind them. 

Elide huffed, knowing he was right and hating it, “I’m not sick, I’m not even barfing! I’m just achy and I have a cough, I’m fine.” 

“You have the flu, Elide. You do not have the energy to teach two classes - stay home.” 

She muttered something and Lorcan could practically hear her eye roll. “Fine. I can do video calls anyway, bye-bye, L, love you!” 

“That is not what I meant, Elide,” he protested, but Elide hung up. Lorcan sighed through his nose and put his phone in his pocket once more. The rest of the apple was gone in two bites. 

From one of the tables, the blonde science teacher looked over at him, a bite of leftover risotto and pink salmon on her fork, “Was that our Ellie dear? How is she?” 

“Stubborn and petty,” Lorcan grumbled in good nature. He tossed his apple core into the compost bin, “I’m done for the day, so I’m going home. Please don’t call me if you need help.” His colleagues laughed mockingly at his inconsiderate remark and Lorcan smirked, saluting them as he walked out. “Bye, guys. Have a good day.” He walked down the hall, waving and nodding to students he recognised. 

Lorcan passed two of his favourites, Luca and Evangeline. They stopped him to talk and they chatted about Luca’s upcoming debate and Evangeline’s English presentation. He wished them both luck and continued on, all but refusing to acknowledge any of his other colleagues. Lorcan didn’t have anything against them, save for a few, but he didn’t want to be dragged into a long conversation with them when his girl was home sick and miserable. 

Outside, it was raining, but light enough that it was more of a mist than any noticeable precipitation. Lorcan got into their old Volkswagen Jetta - the car that Elide had saved for during her last year of high school to buy - and pulled out of the parking lot, going slowly around the meandering students and teachers alike. 

Since he hadn’t eaten lunch yet and he had been dreading his tuna salad sandwich all day, Lorcan stopped by the local Blackbeak restaurant. He bought pierogies, borscht, sausage, and cabbage rolls. Knowing Elide loved them so, he added on an order of sweet, apple-filled piroshkis and sweet tea. 

Luckily, the wait wasn’t long and he tipped them well when they handed him the containers in two plastic bags, including a tray for their tea. Lorcan carried their food back to the car and put it on the passenger seat, carefully fitting the cups of tea in the cup holders. 

Lorcan got back in his seat and drove on, more slowly this time so the food would remain untouched. He’d tossed his phone onto the dash and it rang. He glanced over at it and saw Elide calling him. Since he was driving, Lorcan didn’t pick up and he would be home soon enough. 

He came to a stop at a red light and looked over at the text she sent him. 

princess: r u too busy to answer me cause ur with ur new WHORE. 

princess: dont even come home tn im so over ur disrespectful ass. smh. 🙄. cant believe i ever trusted a MAN. 

princess: bby im so hungry tell me what to get i cant decide 🥺 pls help me ill b so nice to uuuuuu ❤🖤🥰🥰😘 

Lorcan laughed and shook his head, driving on home. He pulled up in front of their townhouse a mere five minutes later. Carefully, Lorcan balanced everything and locked the car. He walked through the front gate and up the stone pathway. 

Somehow, he managed to carry everything and unlocked the front door. When he walked in, he heard someone’s long nails tapping across a laptop keyboard. Lorcan chuckled quietly and put his bags down. He hung up his jacket, put his keys in the silver dish next to Elide’s, and toed off his shoes. 

Lorcan walked down the hallway and passed the staircase, putting their food on the kitchen counter. Then, he rolled up the sleeves of his wool sweater and white shirt. He walked upstairs, “Lee? You in bed?” 

He passed their shared office and leaned against the doorframe, eyes landing on his fiancée. Elide had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders, her dark hair pushed up in a messy bun. Her thick glasses were perched on the edge of her nose and when she looked up at him, Elide pushed them back up, “Oh, hi, love.” She looked back at her laptop and colour-coordinated lesson plan, still typing. “I didn’t know you were coming home, you didn’t have to do that.” 

“Evidently I did because my fiancée refuses to rest,” he said, shoving off the door and walking in. She rolled her eyes and frowned. Lorcan walked around to her side and crouched, twisting her chair around, “Elide. You’re sick. Your students are not going to be affected if you take a day or two off, now please. Can you just get back in bed? For me?” 

She clicked her tongue and sighed, “That’s cheating. You can’t say it’s for you when you know I’d do anything for you.” 

Lorcan smirked and cupped her face, his thumb stroking over her cheekbone, “Just doing what I can.” He surveyed her, his eyes not missing a thing. There was a slight sheen of sweat on her brow and her eyes were tired. Her skin was paler and more pallid than usual, the only spot of colour on the tip of her nose. She was restraining herself, but Lorcan could see her shivering. “How are you feeling?” 

“I’m… fine.” 

He arched a brow. Elide sighed through her nose and looked to the side. 

“Fine. I feel like shit. I’m tired and I have a headache and I’m so, so tired,” she whispered, tipping herself forward and leaning into him. “I hated that you left this morning. I wanted to be with you and… and let you take care of me.” 

Lorcan smiled softly and got to his feet, picking her up as well. Her head fell against his shoulder and he held her with one arm banded beneath her thighs. He cut off the camera and sent a bland message before signing out and turning it off. As he carried her out, Lorcan asked, “Are you hungry? Have you eaten anything?” 

Elide shook her head, “No… I was sleeping.” 

“I got food. Blackbeak,” he told her, smiling when she gasped wondrously. 

“O-m-giness.” Elide said softly, dancing her shoulders around. “You’re the best, baby. Did you get piroshki? The- the sweet one. With apple.” 

“Mm-hmm,” he said, pushing her hair back again. “And pierogies, tea, sausage, and cabbage rolls. Everything, even soup.” 

“I love you so fuckin’ much, man,” she whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck. Elide’s face was comfortably hidden in the crook of his neck. She could smell his cedar cologne, the lavender dryer ball on his sweater, and the sweetgrass he’d smudged with. “We should watch When Harry Met Sally.” 

Lorcan huffed a laugh through his nose and kissed the side of her head, “Yeah. Sally’s a spaz.” 

“And Harry’s an inconsiderate asshat,” Elide replied, squeezing her thighs around his hips. 

They crossed through the door of their bedroom and Lorcan set her down on their bed. He left her be, letting her manoeuvre into her little nest of blankets, quilts, and a duvet. 

He changed into sweatshorts and a hoodie with their university’s logo before going downstairs. On his way, he re-did his hair in some tiered, sloppy and loopy bun. 

In the kitchen, he played some random song from his phone and bobbed his head as he served them both food. 

Lorcan carried their plates and bowls back upstairs. Elide got up to help her when he got to their room. On the TV that opposited their bed showed the main menu of When Harry Met Sally. He laughed quietly and shook his head, sitting down beside her and getting comfortable. 

Elide hummed delightedly and pressed play from her phone. She took the tea first and drank it quickly, suddenly ravenous. Lorcan passed her water and medicine. Elide took it and ate her beet soup, sans sour cream. 

The movie played and Lorcan ate his pierogies, gently sipping on his own tea. 

Done first, Elide put her dish to the side and leaned into him. She mouthed the lines, her eyes slowly falling shut. Lorcan grinned and finished the cabbage roll before easing out from under her and taking their things back downstairs. 

He got her more citrus tea and went back upstairs. The flu-ridden woman woke up when he got in bed and resituated herself. 

“I got the vaccine, baby,” Elide muttered, her arms wrapped around his neck, “and I’m still sick. I’m anti-vax now. They’re hoaxes.” 

Lorcan sighed through his nose, still adoring her dramatics. “You can’t say that to your students, Lee. They believe anything.” 

The chemistry teacher smacked his chest, “They arent dumb! They’re just…” 

“Stupid,” Lorcan finished her sentence. “C’mon, I had a student who didn’t know Terrasen’s capital. He was born here, Elide.” 

She snorted and hid her face in his neck. “I love you.” 

“Forever and always, Lee.”

So @fiveisnumber1 and I were talking yesterday and we came up with a bunch of headcanons for Timeless based on some of our shared interests. I compiled them to share with everyone in this lil community and we’d love to hear what you all think:

H7 and the Hargreeves are Reader’s Wedding Dress Entourage like in SYTTD

So first of all, Say Yes to The Dress is so chaotic that the Hargreeves and H7 would fit in that environment entirely

They don’t actually go on the show so it’s more like Safiya Nygaard’s wedding dress shopping video where Reader and the rest go to shop, they film it and then they upload it on their Youtube channel.

Reader originally plans to take Grace, Addison, Allison, Viktoria and Vanya with her. Klaus and Kenny overhear dress shopping and immediately want in which means Ben is going too obviously and Bren goes to keep him company. (There’s a GHOST loose in a BRIDAL SALON). 

Dean and Diego find out and they HAVE to tag along especially Diego cuz he needs to monitor this whole thing as Reader’s brother and Dean as her “twin”. So of course Luther and Lucas decide to join too.

Five grumbles about being left behind all alone at the mansion but he's happy cuz he knows they've gone to pick out Reader’s wedding dress and so it makes the fact that they're getting married so much more real.

Oh and Charlie’s there too. He’s an old man now but he’s still healthy and fit and definitely doesn’t look as old as he is. Of course Reader invites him along.

They introduce him to the shop as Reader’s “grandfather” but she treats him as she always does. He’s her friend and to her its like he hasn’t aged at all.

He’s just so happy to be there for her and support her. He was with her the entire time she missed Five and knew Five spent 45 years without her too so it feels great to know they’re finally getting married and that he’s able to witness it.

As soon as the huge group enters the bridal salon it is CHAOS.

Everyone is picking dresses they think Reader will like and the consultant is overwhelmed at so many people in her shop (but more surprisingly, so many supportive people in her shop cuz this is the largest entourage she’s met that actually caters to the brides instead of thinking of only themselves).

They all pick out dresses for Reader cuz of course they do. They’re not all her style but they don’t throw a tantrum when she doesn’t wear what isn’t.

Diego goes around picking the most conservative dresses ever. Overprotective brother mode: ACTIVATED.

He also ends up picking out a bunch of poofy princess ballgowns cuz Reader is his little princess. You know those gorgeous ballgowns with the pretty sheer sleeves that look stunning? Yeah those

There’s so much chaos happening and Reader is pretty sure they’re gonna make her try on the entire shop’s gowns before they’re done

Reader, when she sees the mountain of dresses the H8 and Hargreeves have picked out: I should have just come by myself.

jk she loves her chaotic family

Reader is also constantly texting Five because she knows he’s home alone and he doesn’t mind but she misses him anyway cuz just the dress shopping reminds her of the fact they’re getting married and her heart fills with love for him and its adorable

I should have brought you instead.

Kenny and Klaus won’t stop teasing me about the mannequins

“1 photo of the Reader in the dressing room smiling while waiting to try on dresses”

Five just sips his coffee at home and smiles every time he gets a text cuz he's so happy the day they're getting married is getting closer and that Reader is having fun with everyone while picking out her dress.

He loves her so much for trying to include him even though it's supposed to be her day and he can’t be there.

Reader finds the PERFECT dress (which I will let fiveisnumber1 reveal to you all. It’s absolutely stunning). 

Diego almost has a heart attack about the low back.

But then Reader starts crying because she can see herself getting married in this dress and this dress only. It’s perfect. Diego can’t say No after that... and it is a gorgeous dress. He grumbles but gives in.

Reader says Yes to the Dress... or Sure to the Frock... Or Down for the Gown (No i totally didn’t steal this from Safiya’s videos or anything)

Anyway: The H7 and Hargreeves and Charlie would be the most supportive entourage but they'd be hilarious and chaotic as well. 

After Reader and Five get married and they post the video on YouTube, so many people just love to watch it cuz it's so obvious how happy Reader is to be getting married to Five and how happy everyone else is for them (and cuz the video is so chaotic and fun and everyone’s version of the best found family).

The H8 and Hargreeves making Weird Science videos for their Channel

Also inspired by Safiya Nygaard’s weird science or bad makeup science videos. (Seriously they’re hilarious and the bomb. 11/10 recommend).

They make the videos in pairs or the H8 make them as a group. There’s combinations.

The H8:

Normally when it’s the H8, because they're all broke the funding comes from Five's (or any of the Hargreeves) inheritance (what else is he gonna do with it but use it in the name of bad science experiments?) 

They all crowd around the kitchen table sorting stuff and making a mess and then if the stove is needed then the Reader heats their mixture up with her powers too but discreetly so its not on camera. 

It starts out organized but delves into chaos.

Five is probably trying to calculate outcomes based on the materials they have and figuring out accurate measuring systems. Bren writes down everything because “the only difference between messing around and science is if you write it down”. 

Kenny is officially the person who gets to "dump stuff in the pot" and he refuses to let anyone else do it. He pretends he's making a potion and has an evil laugh to go along with it.

Lucas and Dean are woefully clueless but help in getting necessary stuff from the cupboards. 

Viktoria and Addison take turns filming and narrating in deadpan. They also are the ones who help arrange the items and prep them to be ready for the mixture in the pot.

There is a lot of chaos.

Bren: Hey guys where’s the pot? 

Kenny: in my room but I don’t know why you would want it brennyboo 

Bren: THE MIXING POT! 

Kenny: Oh Dean is using it as a hat 

Dean: I wouldn’t be using it if Lucas hadn’t took the bowl with holes 😩 

Reader: A COLENDER???

H8 with Hargreeves:

Its not just the H8 together causing chaos though. They pair off occasionally with their Hargreeves counterpart.

Lucas: “Welcome to bad science with Lucas and Luther! Today we’re going to combine every flavor of jello!” 

Cue Luther standing awkwardly. He doesn’t know what’s going on but is happy to help. 

It ends up tasting like Elliot’s “ambrosia” from the 60s.

Viktoria and Vanya make one too. 

Viktoria: Welcome to our channel for another edition of weird science. Today we're going to mix all the Peanut Butters we can find in the grocery stores around town together. We will then have Five taste test it on a sandwich because it's his favorite with marshmallows. He doesn’t know what we’re doing so his reaction will be very entertaining. 

Vanya: Wait... including the crunchy peanut butter? He doesn't like that. 

Viktoria: ALL the peanut butter

Idiot Four and Bad Science:

Speaking of the H8 with the Hargeeves: the Idiot Four and Bad Science. It’s beautiful.

They can't find anything so they improvise.

Dean: Guys I can’t find the measuring cups.

Lucas: Oh.. well just use something that’s a similar size?

Diego: The soup bowls are too big though

Luther: Would this work? *holds up sieve*

*cue Idiot 4 shoveling in whatever ingredients they can before it can leak out through the sieve*

Luther: Shit... the mixing bowl is missing.

Lucas: I didn’t take it this time!

Dean: Should we use the extra?

Diego: No. Do NOT use the one mom cooks in or our food will taste like wax for weeks again.

Lucas: The others will kill us if that happens again...

Dean: I found the bowl with the holes?

Lucas: Excellent! How do we make sure it doesn’t leak?

Diego: Tape?

Luther: I have a better idea!

His idea is to use the colander on top of the frying pan so it catches the excess that drips out.

Genius, these four. Truly the Einstein's of their generation.

The videos are a hit is all I’m saying.

Yes the kitchen does end up on fire numerous times. They’ve got it under control... mostly.

Charlie and Five:

This is more of a mini headcanon that sprouted from the wedding dress shopping headcanons but:

They get along really well.

They specifically use their ‘old men’ thing to irritate the others.  They would just have those stereotypical old man talks but really they’re just doing it to annoy the rest of them. 

Imagine Charlie and Five just sitting at the bar and bitching very loudly together about "kids these days have no respect for the elderly". They especially do it in front of the Hargreeves specifically Diego.

It drives them up the wall but Charlie and Five refuse to stop.

The rest of the H8 just find it funny more than irritating. 

Everyone is like "You're both healthy and Five your body is literally 18. Shut It!"

Both Five and Charlie are technically old men who Reader has introduced to Gen Z slang and trends. And it’s especially funny because reader turned both of these old men into people with Gen Z personalities so any of their old men schtick is just to annoy the others.

It forms a very amusing contrast of them speaking in Gen Z but talking like old people.

Five: And the other day Kenny yeeted his pet raccoon across the hall and said the poor thing liked it. Kids these days and their weird flexes 

Charlie: If I were Kenny, I simply would not. RIP to him but we old men are just built different.

(Sidenote: Garby totally loves being yeeted cuz its like flying. Kenny would just lift him above his head and fly him around).

Also Charlie just comes over with this huge stash of "old man candy" and then Five and him just go around solemnly handing it to the others and patting their heads for being "good children" for the stupidest of things just to patronize them. 

Charlie: *handing Luther a candy* And this is for you for making sure the Netflix subscription is paid for

Luther: *confused* thank you?

Five: You ate a grape for breakfast today *pats Bren’s head as he gives him a candy*

Bren: *tries not to laugh as he takes the candy*

Diego: *grumbling* Can I have a candy?

Five and Charlie: *consider it* 

Five: He spilled a drop of water on the table today.

Charlie: And he walks around in spandex.

Five and Charlie: No candy for you today

Diego: *frustrated screaming*

In conclusion: it would be hilarious.

hi caly im back after reading moc41 and just... mind: blown. tears: none left. throat: sore after screaming into my pillow so much. emotional stability: basically gone from the amount of damage made in this chapter. but all that aside I STILL LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!

if theres one thing that saved me i’d say its probably all the san x y/n moments in 41 (tho ironically that joy is kinda short-lived aha :’) and also nightingale and soojin and LUCA now in the picture! i’m just manifesting more of their interactions once y/n comes back pls bring her back quick dear miss calyyy ㅠㅠㅠ

and also everyone probably already went batshit crazy at hongjoong while simultaneously sympathizing with the logic of his choices can’t hide that i’m one of them askwkzjs. again, i’m broken at how he went with the decision without the reluctance we all thought he would have, and it even seems like he’s eager to let her go if not for his guilt towards san. i guess hardly anybody would feel good when they’re being abandoned and deemed as less worthy, even if its by someone seemingly unimportant to them. i just wanna know if there’s any hope for y/n and hongjoong mending their relationship in the next act, or just any none-hateful moments? please i need them to be (somewhat) okay if yall wont choke each other sexually FINE just dont choke each other all together please askjwuwhshs 😭

and i cant even talk too much about wooyoung and yeosang it pains me and it even GETS WORSE OH MY GOD?!! but apart from that, i’m also super curious about the thing yeosang said to y/n too. i have a tiny theory basically about that part, but when i first read it i thought it sounds like y/n was part of the slave group wooyoung was in when yeosang was still prince??? like yeosang was somehow gonna choose y/n in that group, but ended up choosing wooyoung instead. or even if she wasn’t actually in the slave group it’s something about wooyoung beind chosen in y/n’s place, and yeosang already met her before she joined the crew. and y/n seemed so confused because she got brainwashed so she’s couldn’t remember all that (?)

overall ur a legend and this is a masterpiece as always caly, and it’s absolutely worth the wait. as angsty as this is gonna get i’m still really looking forward to the next chapters!! take your time and stay healthy bestie <3 — 🌊

anywho! im glad the y/n and san moments made it bearable and survivable! they had some good moments in the first half of the chapter :3 but don't worry we won't have to suffer for long pink promise!!!

you bring up a good point of hongjoong's choices and how it seems like his guilt towards san is the only reason he feels bad about his decision. i can't say that his decisions are gonna be made better or worse in the future, but there is a rather big reveal in the next chapter that will make the knife go a little deeper unfortunately :') is there any hope for y/n and hongjoong? it's too early to say really, we have such a long ways to go that i don't want to say anything without spoiling! we gotta go through some rough things to get to the better and happier things tho!!!

then... wooyoung and yeosang 😭 the most painful part for me as well tbh ahh yeah god damn !!! there's a lot to it and a lot in it and a lot of pain and layers of course! i can't say much but you are on the right track indeed with your theory and that's all i can say 🤐 but we have to remember that y/n lost her memories not once but twice! before joining the military and when jisung went in too! so there's definitely a lot of possibilities in there!!

after getting into the room you run up to steve and gasp.

dustin getting them out and you help steve out of them room while erica and dustin help robin.

sitting in the back with robin and steve.

steve keeps putting his hand on your thigh and you hit it off.

okay so something ive been saying since the day i finished s3 is the american is brenner!!!!! not hopper!!!! yes, hopper is there, but brenner is the american. alexei says they figured out that the gate needed to be in hawkins. HOW would they know that if they hadn’t captured brenner?? also im p sure ive been confirmed right on this bc the actor who plays brenner has tweeted in a way that p much confirms hes gonna be in s4. so with all that considered, my biggest/most probable prediction is that brenner and hopper are gonna have to team up to escape the prison together. my hope is that we get a moment where brenner learns that hopper was housing el and hes all smug and evil like “does she know you’re the one who sold her out in the first place?” bc i need!!!! that!!!! to be!!!! acknowledged!!!!!

and. if anyone listens to me shout into this void. you may know that my biggest, most self-indulgent, unrealistic dream is a mike/nancy/karen team up. let the wheelers be smart badasses together!!!!! karen picked nancys lock with a hairpin!!!! she knew not to trust the government in s1!!!! bring back s1 karen and her intelligence and her love for her children and let her in on the monster hunting!!!! seriously if karen never finds out in this show what her kids have gone through im going to be so upset

my mc’s (full) name is harley maura blanco! she’s a cis female, bi, white, and the only daughter of two super successful entrepreneurs.   she has absolutely zero clue what she wants do with her life, and while school doesn’t particularly engage her, she isn’t really a slacker.   lives most of her life in her head, more street smart than book smart.  collects pins as a hobby!

this one is SUPER hard just because she’s pretty close with all of them for different reasons.  here’s a subject to change list:  dan, noah, ava, lily, lucas, andy, stacy. 

thoughts on dan pierce and your mc’s relationship with him:

other than jane, dan was the one that harley was arguably the closest with as a kid. neither had siblings, so they sort of became each other’s brother and sister. after their mishap on halloween of dressing as the same character, they made it a tradition to do so every year.    the split from dan was really hard. she never resented him for climbing the social ladder and succeeding in high school, but she also never picked up on him struggling, which is something she kicks herself for endlessly. when she gets that text from him at the start of the book, she’s terrified, but also excited deep down that dan would message her after so long.    even if they didn’t speak much until his rescue, they were never on bad terms.  she dies mere hours after really reconnecting with him, but feels more relief after she saves him than she does at any point in the story. 

thoughts on noah marshall and your ,c’s relationship with him:

noah and harley’s relationship kind of serves as the crux of my ilitw narrative.   she had an innocent crush on him as a kid, something he resented due to how jealous he was of her relationship with jane.    these feelings come back to bite her in the ass full force after they reconnect at the start of the plot.   her and noah have just always been on the same wavelength, part of the same crowd, with the similar morals and ways of thinking; there are plenty of fish in the sea, but she wants the one emotionally unavailable fish.   both of them harbor that guilt over not being able to protect jane,  and that is what makes harley almost reach out to him a handful of times before the plot actually kicks in.   the betrayal stings her harder than anything else, as she really thought they were getting to a place where they understood one another, but she still can’t find it in herself to be 100%b angry with him.    she chooses to die in his place because even after everything,   she loves him. 

thoughts on andy kang and your mc’s relationship with him:

andy is the one that makes harley laugh the most.   he brings out her livelier side and reminds her that she does know how to have fun,  which is something she kind of forgot was possible after becoming so withdrawn.    it can be assured whenever they’re together that harley is 10/10 the one that’s going to egg andy on in his antics.    even in the time that the two of them were apart,  harley was always silently cheering andy on from the sidelines.   the true testament to their friendship comes with how quickly they were able to pick up where they left off as kids after not speaking to each other pretty much at all in the ten years between jane’s death and redfield’s resurgence.    there are maybe 20 minutes of awkwardness between them before they go back to cracking jokes and being stupid together,  and when andy is kidnapped and hurt,  it’s the sight of him being dragged through those doors that superpowers harley into becoming the hero of the night. 

thoughts on ava cunningham and your mc’s relationship with her:

as someone who is a bit offbeat, harley appreciates how unapologetically herself ava is.   they bond over the fact that they aren’t like the masses and they they, in return, don’t really care what the masses think of them.    even though ava is seen as unapproachable to most, harley actually finds her pretty easy to talk to once she gets past the initial fear of starting a conversation with her, and once they’re back on common ground during the plot,  that fear vanishes entirely.    they have a lot of similar views and share that “brave even in the face of death” mentality,  meaning that ava is one of the people harley tends to go to first about most things.    through that,  they talk a lot on the regular about stuff other than redfield as well.    harley is,  quite frankly,  terrified for ava when redfield gives her powers.    she sees ava as one of the group’s MVPs due to her knowledge of the supernatural and her all around badassery,  and is sick at the thought of losing her to those very things. 

thoughts on lucas thomas and your mc’s relationship with him:

despite their obvious aesthetic differences at first glance,   harley and lucas balance each other out perfectly.    lucas is,  truly,  harley’s impulse control, and he helps her think through a lot of her good ideas to make them into rational good ideas.   in return,  harley knows how to sort through lucas’ problems to make them more manageable and imposes her more easygoing attitude on him when he needs it.   harley has never held any grudge against him for becoming popular,  as she mostly just saw him as an incredibly hard worker.   for the longest time (until finding out about his struggles) she admired his work ethic, and definitely voted for him in every class election and similar situations.    harley and lucas probably confide in each other  /  keep each other in check more than anyone else in the team.    lucas was one of the gang members that harley spoke to the most throughout the ten year lapse,   each conversation a short,  friendly burst as they went opposite directions socially. 

thoughts on stacy green and your mc’s relationship with her:

stacy is the member of the gang that, at the START of the story, harley feels she understands the least.   the constant association of her with cody, britney, and jocelyn puts a very sour taste in harley’s mouth  -  even if stacy herself isn’t doing any of the bullying,  she doesn’t say anything.    their relationship reaches that deep place when stacy vents out to her that she’s being blackmailed by britney,  which kicks up harley’s instinct to protect her friends.   the two are pretty opposite in most ways,   but their differences strengthen their friendship more than anyone else in the group.    even when stacy doesn’t think of herself as a good person,  harley does,   and lifts her up at every opportunity she possibly can because she knows what stacy is capable of.    emotionally,   they are an outlet for one another about their respective social circles.   physically,  they are two of the most unassuming yet strongest fighters on the team,  and work very well together in a battle setting. 

thoughts on lily ortiz and your mc’s relationship with her:

lily is unequivocally,  the one member of the original group that harley talked with the most throughout the ten year span between jane’s death and redfield’s awakening.    both of them were deemed to be Losers by the popular kids,   but both of them were open enough to seek each other out again from time to time,  which explains how easy it is for them to talk at the start of the book,  even if they didn’t necessarily consider themselves “friends” during that gap.    harley is very protective of lily solely because she knows lily is good enough to give second chances to people like britney,  but she never babies her,  simply giving her advice when she sees fit out of the goodness of her heart.    lily is one of the group members that harley actually feels most comforted by when she realizes how thin she’s trying to stretch herself to keep everything intact.    all danger aside,  harley and lily just genuinely think the other is so cool. 

thoughts on connor green and your mc’s relationship with him:

in my narrative, harley and connor’s relationship serves as one of the foils to her relationship with noah.   she didn’t pay too much mind to him when they were kids,  often just thinking of him as stacy’s sill older brother,   but they take an obvious interest in each other all those years later.    harley doesn’t quite realize that 1. connor has a crush on her, because no one’s ever had a crush on her before or 2. that what she does could be considered flirtatious, because she’s never flirted with anyone before.    any romantic feelings she has are reserved for noah,   but she does value connor’s friendship a great amount and thinks he’s extremely cool.     they share a lot of similarities,  from not really knowing what they want to do with their lives to their generally unbothered dispositions,  but what connor really wants is to,  as things get more dire,  save harley.    what he doesn’t realize is that harley is the hero of this story.

hello legends ! i’m your local diy diorama fanatic ron & i live in the gmt -3 timezone. that kind of rhymed & i’m sorry. anyways, i’m 23 years old and my pronouns are she/her. some of my interests are: loving & treating animals w the respect they deserve, sharing wholesome memes, watching people making knives out of random ass materials on youtube & watching the office. i think that’s about it for me, so lemme dive into lucas.

growing up in brooklyn proved easier for lucas garcia than his mother had anticipated. being a second generation venezuelan-american, lucas’s parents tried their best to make the boy get in touch with his latino roots but the boy absolutely loved the bustling city from a young age.

a proud nets fan from the moment he learned how to walk, wednesdays and thursdays for lucas were sacred nights at barclays’ with his father. lucas breathed in the culture of the neighborhood, and made brooklyn his home, and the garcias lived a simple yet happy life in the cramped brownstone apartment they rented.

education was something the family valued very much, and it was crystal clear to the garcias that if they wanted their son to have a chance of competing with the privileged, trust fund bred elite of the city, they needed to bestow upon him the greatest education they could afford. lucas wasn’t behind his parents expectations either, being top of his class and a hardworking student. when high school rolled around, it wasn’t very difficult for him to secure a spot and a scholarship in manhattan’s prestigious st. jude’s.

right around lucas’s sophmore year, tragedy struck. lucas’s father suffered a scathing heart attack and died on the spot. the boy was set to meet him, and lucas blames himself til this day on his tardiness, believing that if he had been minutes earlier, he could’ve saved his father.

it was right around that time that lucas began to lose control of his life. the boy who had been personable and serene quickly turned into a thrill seeker and became unrecognizable both to his mother and his friends. lucas fell into a self-destructive spiral, using various drugs and seeking the bottom of the bottle every night in order to numb himself.

it didn’t help that his father had died and left the garcias in a tough financial situation, where even lucas’s scholarship in st. jude’s was in jeopardy. almost being expelled from the school once, lucas wasn’t the legacy that the school simply looked the other way when he did something that could drag the name of the school into the dirt. there would be consequences.

around lucas’s final year in st. jude’s, his mother met another man. two years after his father’s passing. they were married not long after, and with the novelty of now having a stepfather, a number of things would change in his life, to lucas’s chagrin. the first one, he would have to say goodbye to his beloved neighborhood.

living in the upper east side proved to be everything that lucas despised. the vain conversations and useless splurging that he was accostumed to in st. jude’s were now everywhere in his life. they replaced the brownstone apartment with luxurious lofts that were located straight across central park. instead of going to totonno’s for a slice of pizza, he was now confronted with fancy dinners at momofuku. but if you can’t beat the people you’ve made fun of your whole life, you become one of them.

his self-destruction journey continued on, erasing his previous personality completely, until when, at twenty four, an event changed his life. ( this goes into his secret, so i won’t disclose it unless ! if we plot smth that has relevance to it ). after a year of being away from the spotlight, lucas came back, journalism degree in hand and completely changed.

gone were the days of toxic behavior, and the old lucas garcia was back. a competent writer who is able to speak on polemic issues with astuteness and sensibility, it wasn’t long before lucas was noticed by the times. managing to snag a spot as a culture reporter, lucas’ ability to breathe in the city came in hand.

personality-wise, he’s very approachable. owner of dry humor and a cynical point of view, he’s smarter than people give him credit for. he doesn’t like to talk about his disappearance, but it changed him fundamentally. now, he has trouble sleeping, which explains why he’s so keen on slipping away in the middle of the night. before, lucas was unable to connect in a romantic way with anyone, but those days are far gone. it’s almost like time hasn’t passed, and the sensible, kind boy is back. but the closest to him wonder if it’s to stay.

tl;dr: good boy. v gentle pls be careful w his heart.

luca is the eldest brother. he has a sister, middle sibling, that he has just learned is actually his half sister. she is the product of his father having an affair with a mundane. his mother killed the mundane woman when she found out and left his father, his father brought his daughter to be raised with his sons believing they were full siblings. they have a younger brother but he and his brother are full siblings. he has just learned that his father had another affair with a shadowhunter and that he has another half sibling, though he doesn’t know who they are yet. hint hint, it’s elena brooks.

he is the golden boy, the big brother so he’s always gotta be the boss. he can be a bit of a douchebag to his siblings tbh, they’re competitive as heck ?? always challenging each other on shit ?? but also don’t u dare fuck with them bc he wil end you. only he gets to mess with his baby sibs ok ??

he’s got a bit of a hero complex like runs straight into the line of fire without thinking because I’M HERE TO SAVE THE DAY and it will probabLY GET HIM KILLED ?? someday. silly boy.

he’s had a lot of relationships but they’ve never really lasted a) because he’s a fuckboi or b) because like anna calanoc they realised he wasn’t in love with them.

after several weeks of being under the influence of a spell, making him act violently particularly towards downworlders and express hatred for anything ‘impure’, he attacked and nearly killed elena brooks. only her revealing that she was his sister briefly broke the magic hold over him and in this brief instance, he used her dagger upon himself. he was hospitalised and the silent brothers/a warlock was called in to help him. he is now free of the spell but suffering from the guilt of his actions (and weak from the self inflicted wound).

I'm starting to feel more comfortable with my position in the game. I think I'm not in anyone's bad graces so far, which is good. But I really need to win one of these next HoH's so secure my social relationships. My plan moving forward is to see win HoH's. I want to win the next to HoH's I'm eligible in back to back. I also want to try to secure my relationships with Gina, Jev, and Jake. Those are three people I want to be close with in this game. Also maybe Joshua? He's pretty cool and chill.

I'm still getting a sense of how the game works but I feel pretty good, there are some people that are much easier to talk to than others but everyone is still so nice! i feel good about josh c as hoh! we get along pretty well and I don't THINK im in any danger but you never know! imma be honest, I don't have an actual plan, i'm mostly playing this by ear, just talking to people, bullying beck when the chance arises, and being myself!

well, we won HOH and that's really EXCITING. i probably didn't need to win this week but i figured that i'd get a win under my belt while nominating people would still be EASY. i can establish trust with some people and get a "i didn't nom you, please don't nom me" situation going on. i also feel like the two people i'm going to nominate would have NOMMED me anyways because we just haven't talked..

but i just.. both of them have really only put in any effort to talk to me now that i'm HOH and i don't really LOVE that tbh. i've already told a few people that's who i'm thinking so i kind of accidentally locked myself in on these noms because there isn't any sense in throwing out more names than i have to!!

i have an alliance with kiki, brianna, jacob, jake, and aria. (i think that's the people in it? i wanna say that's right. LKFMSDG love this game for me) and i feel pretty good in that because i like all of them enough and they're people that will watch out for ME and each other. but i know my social connections go beyond that so i'm feeling pretty good with my spot in the game? i have a solid relationship with almost everyone in the game and i think i should be able to play a cute lil utr game for a few weeks. i don't think that i'll get targeted first if my alliance gets outed and if so.. i have ENOUGH faith in my comp strength and relationships to save me against MOST of the cast.

people kind of want me to nominate DEM because apparently he starts drama with people and has been a bit inactive. he's talked with me more than other people so im not super keen on throwing him on the block RIGHT AWAY but i'm thinking he's a good replacement nom because if people think he's MIA then no one other than him will be upset with me. maybe a backdoor? could be spicy..

I feel FANTASTIC about Josh being HoH. I’m making sure that others are coming to me about gameplans, and I’m making sure I don’t come off as too pushy or aggressive in PMs. With most of the players, I’m trying to give them all the same energy and hype. It seems kinda weird to say this, but I’m not concerned about being nominated at this point. What I need to ensure is building my social relationships with people outside the “Crackhouse”, and yes that big ol friend group moved to Discord in 20 minutes like 6 months ago. 

This is the first major game I’ve ever played with Skinny Nick(yes, I’m absolutely confused as to what to call them, I’m so used to calling Nick “Eve” that its going to take time to adjust.) Speaking of Nick, my social relationship with him is actually surprisingly similar. In the past, I felt as though it would be as “on-sight” as Tom & Jerry, and it actually isn’t turning out that way, which is surprisingly refreshing. Every day, I’m making sure I send Nick something different to diversify my social game with them. Yesterday, I asked Nick about his preferred streaming services for music and TV, and I discovered we have the same music service(Apple Music).

I’ve played one game with Monty before, but it was a disaster. We were in pairs, and it felt like we were on different planets. I did tell him to not worry about personal feelings when it comes to this game, because I compared the relationship of BB Netflix and the Crackhouse to the separation of church and state. I made that comparison because the two entities of church and state should never cross, but when they do it becomes disastrous, and I feel as though that same principle applies to this game.

Overall, I feel good, Emma may be going up on the block, but it shouldn’t affect me that much. We’re in the early stage, I want to make sure I’m good with everyone.

he is the golden boy, the big brother so he’s always gotta be the boss. he can be a bit of a douchebag to his siblings tbh, they’re competitive as heck ?? always challenging each other on shit ?? but also don’t u dare fuck with them bc he wil end you. only he gets to mess with his baby sibs ok ??
