born to miguel and felicia romero – former fbi agents

they were not off the grid, but both miguel and felicia were both agents that retired pretty early (mostly due to wanting to start a family) so they got a place that’s a bit outside of the city ( georgia maybe idk ). of course, they never told mags what their former jobs used to be.

i mean, from the outside they look like a normal family!!! the romeros and their lil barn and fresh from the garden foods. mags studied at a nearby public school, had few friends. the romeros played nice with almost everyone they met, but kept to themselves mostly in the barn.

( tw violence ? ) so around the time mags was supposed to start high school, some rogue agents decided to invade their farm and while mags was more than happy to run and call 911, her parents made her hide in the barn with all the animals until they could get her again.

hours turned to what she presumed was a day or two. she loved the animals and would protect them however she could. all she could do was hope that her parents were okay and that they got away or got help or…basically, she trusted them to know what to do.

after around thirty five hours inside the barn, her mom came back to the barn to fetch her. “we took care of it” was their only response. another response was “we found a really good school for you! we think you’ll like it!”

it was a spy prep school. and to say she was a fish out of water was an understatement. she didn’t know which from what. hell, she didn’t even know what she was doing there at all.

her parents began to explain their lives to her bit by bit and explained that a spy prep school was practical - just in case something like the attempted home invasion happened again. they needed mags to be s a f e.

prep school was..a culture shock. the fanciest thing she’d seen in her smallish town was fairy lights and tulle-decked decor during her eighth grade dance ( where she had danced with a boy!! scandalous )…the prep school her parents sent her to ( along with the kids in it ) were…living lives she could only dream about.

nonetheless, she found a small niche of friends she could have good conversations with. while she wasn’t the most aggressive, it was apparent that mags had talent for something. her resourcefulness served her well in prep school and when it came time to come to gallagher, the survival track made sense. medical sciences came after she had encountered some major forensic science figures through the prep school – and who wouldn’t wanna do csi / bones - esque jobs for real?

at gallagher, she’s definitely going to do her best to prove her worth. she’s still not as comfortable with..everything in the spy industry, but she figures that as long as her and her family are safe and she can still do her work, she can make this kind of life work for her

personality: curious, gentle, resourceful, quick, witty – she does her best to not come off too strong. she’s more lively around friends and people she’s comfortable with.

hobbies: reading, analyzing things, flower arranging, plants….petting cute animals ( someone come get her from the stables she’s too attached to the horses send help )

+ brief update in the middle of the year

** added, reason for leaving for a bit & coming back: her pet cow, sisa, had shown signs of being sick. mags went back to help take care of her (it’s like miley and her horse blue jeans) and once sisa was feeling a whole lot better, mags went back to gallagher. she misses sisa terribly and puts up a picture of her on her desk, right beside her dried flowers and her stack of journals.

Magnolia’s Adoption Challenge

Hello everyone! So I’ve been seeing these challenges, as well as participating in them, and I love them so much I wanted to do my own version.

This is Magnolia Waevorn

Magnolia (likes to be called Maggi) was born in San Myshuno, just like any normal baby. Her parents were very much in love and adored her. She was named after her father’s mother’s favorite flower. At age 5 she lost her parents due to a terrible boating incident and has since been moved from home to home, having an array of faster parents/siblings. With her, she brings her pet Happy, the last gift she received from her parents.

She's a bright girl, whos a sleuth and likes to take happy on adventures in the town of Strangerville, where she currently resides with a foster family. She hasn’t given up hope on finding a family of her very own! She likes drawing, playing video games and flowers. She wants to be a gardener one day with the world’s greatest garden! With biiig over-grown fruits, she could have on display.

Rules:

-Parents can be any gender and would prefer Y/A - Adult. Must love kids!

Adoption Process:

The parents will be able to choose 3 activities they want to do with her (almost like a play-date and getting to know each other type thing). It can be anything from a day at the park to trips across the world! You can decide where to take her when the deadline is over and I message you guys. From there will begin the eliminations! Once eliminations are over I’m going to have the last 2 parents compete by creating something to show their love! It could be painting... anything! Let me know if you guys have any kind of feedback or idea you want to throw in, open to anything!

I hope you guys like the idea, and if so I’m really excited to see some parents :3

Spotify, SoundCloud, or Pandora? - Spotify! all the way. i hoarse my bf’s account so he can never listen but i don’t care it’s mine now it’s full of my music and my playlists and whenever i’m listening to it and it suddenly changes cause he tries to use it on his phone I call him, “are you using spotify?” “oh. i mean i can listen to something else?” “cool, thanks!” and i get my music back. :D

is your room messy or clean? - it’s somewhere in between. my actual ROOM (bed room, i assume) is pretty clean, except i never make the bed. but the house is .. a work in progress. it’s not dirty but it’s cluttered so my bf and I are having to work together to clear that and build shelves and stuff for more storage space.

what color are your eyes? - dark brown! (with little green flecks when I cry)

do you like your name? why? - Not really? i don’t hate it. My mom wanted to name me Savannah but they had her sign the certificate while she was still drugged from her c-section so it ended up as Crystal?? Idk. She named her dolls Crystal when she was a kid.

im fairly open-minded and laid back. Unless someones being like, purposely nasty or something I generally don’t get defensive or aggressive. also a lot of little quirks that piss others off dont bother me im very u do u as long as its not actually harming anyone and ive had people tell me this makes it easier to open up to me so thats probably my best quality....

18. what is your worst quality, in your opinion?

....at the same time though i do get very sensitive when faced w/ criticism even if its of the fair variety when its not phrased really gently for various reasons and i dont like that. especially since I have a tendency to not even talk to people about it. I’ll just immediately start distancing myself. also other than that i think overall I have a really high tolerance lvl but if you cross that line I hold a grudge like a motherfucker

9. do you like cats or dogs better?

cats! dogs are good too but cats are a lot easier for me to handle...and quieter generally but even when they’re loud cat sounds dont get to me quite as much as barks do

the lack of responsibility, probably. that sounds real bad lmao but for me its like...I know I’ve grown in various ways over the years but I also feel like so many of my experiences, my trauma, my mental health has held me back and I don’t think I’m mentally where I should be for my age. so all the responsibility of adulthood is just..really overwhelming for me sometimes, even though ive been given a pass from certain aspects of it and the rest is pretty simple its the idea!!!!

i cant stand passive aggressive behavior. my stance is either get over it or quit acting like a bitch because otherwise im just going to ignore you thats the scorpio way (in all seriousness I really, really do recommend not putting up with it and ignoring it until they decide to be up front with you. it can be exhausting constantly reading into conversations and its not healthy for you or them. if they have something to say they need to learn to talk about it properly, and that lack of social skills is not ever on you)

50. have you ever been to a concert?

yep! i think about....six or so? i love them...which is really funny im autistic and EVERYTHING about them should freak me out and they do in other circumstances but at a show i just live for it

nope! ive thought before id like to go vegetarian...but i couldnt do it with my health problems. also i love shrimp too much

52. when you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

ive always wanted to do something creative! when i was rlly young I thought a lot about singing and acting and writing in particular...all things im still interested in.... also i wanted to be a dictator ages 4-7 because i told my mom i wanted to be president of the world and make people do what i say and she said “honey thats a dictator not a president”. i then made that known at school and that turned into a situation!

probably that you have to look at your accomplishments differently when you’re disabled or just struggling, to not be so down on yourself because its a fact that what might be a mole hill to someone else is a mountain to you and you have to judge yourself accordingly. Like maybe you weren’t able to clean the whole house, but washing the dishes and tidying your desk doesn’t usually get done but you did it. That that should be celebrated because while it would also feel good if you did more, you still did something and thats great all things considered.

INTRODUCING…. wanted plots.

oh wOW alright so i’m gonna be basic for a second and tell y’all that i fucking love angst. i mean, fluff’s great and all, but my heart truly lies with the gritty, toxic, dysfunctional, and fucked up. i’m also a huge fan of anything having to do with crime so if you ever wanna do any crime plots come my way !!! it’s also no secret that i’m a very big fan of age gaps ( obvs not with minors because GROSS ). but seriously, give me everything. friends or exes or enemies to lovers, two toxic people that know they should walk away from each other but can’t live without the other, criminals on the run, any kind of criminal or bad influence with pure characters that have hearts made of gold, characters that go through something horrible together and become each other’s lifeline because they’re the only ones that understand, secret and / or taboo relationships, slowburn and unrequited love, exes that reconnect under literally any kind of circumstances, etc. i’ll link some good examples of my favorite plots so you can get a feel for what i’m describing !!!

i’m also always down for plots away from the romantic side of things. i LOVE giving my characters ride or dies, enemies, exes, family, or anything else you can think of. the more unique the connection the better !! legit one of the best relationships i ever played out in an rp was between carcosa and another girl. totally platonic, but it was such a rich and fucked up dynamic that was full of toxicity and power struggles and manipulation and backstabbing, but also drunken benders and risky adventures and late night confessions, and those were easily some of the funnest threads and plotting sessions i’ve ever had. so please, like i said, give me all of the connections.

tbh i hope to get a lot of things out of this group. i’m hoping to find a safe space to let my creativity run wild and a home for my muses where they can constantly grow and develop through interactions with other characters, in-depth plots, and my own exploration the more i write with them. i’m also hoping this will be a good opportunity to make friends, since i’m very much a loner and some of the best people i’ve met have been through the world of roleplaying. i definitely want to push my muses and challenge myself to be a better writer here, and i hope to help out those of you that are seeking the same things in your journey !! i’m already planning on adding some more muses in the very near future ( because i have ZERO impulse control ), and as far as future plans for plots go i want EVERYTHING. romantic, enemies, exes, familial, platonic, and literally anything in between. i would definitely love some slowburn ships where our characters don’t just fall in love overnight. i’d also be so down for exploring the dynamics of age gap relationships. not just the taboo aspect of them but like the differences in generations, the potential repercussions, the ups and downs and the times where they’re not sure if they can make it work.

i mean who hasn’t felt like saying fuck it to the rpc ??? i’ve been rping for several years, about six of those years have been on tumblr and as much love as i can have for this community at times, most days it’s just fucking exhausting. i feel like it’s mostly become a very toxic, judgmental, and honestly shallow place. i hate the expectation groups put on members these days with activity checks and whatnot because honestly who even has the time to write every single day ????? or y’know sometimes we just don’t feel like it ?????? i know for me personally between my mental health and irl responsibilities i just don’t have the time or energy to be on every two days. and plus a lot of them are cliquey af or die in a week or are riddled with petty drama so i tend to avoid them altogether. i joined the indie community in hopes of rping on my terms and while i def feel like that was a step in the right direction, it’s still a very exclusive community at times and i’ve had difficulty fitting in. there’s still a lot of ugliness towards female ocs or muns that exclusively play females and tbh i’m over it ??? i decided to give this group a try because i love the idea of the indie format but in a group, making it easier to plot with people and put yourself out there. tl;dr i decided to say fuck it because the community’s gone downhill and i needed a change.

fluff, angst, or smut: I will write anything. I have not written smut in a long time, but hey, I could still do it if I needed to. But angst and fluff are what I write the most, especially for Emmeryn over here. plots or memes: BOTH. long or short replies: I like a good mix. If the plot is really angsty, then longer posts can usually be more appropriate, but the the scene has a lot of action in it, then quicker, shorter replies work best to keep the pacing up. best time to write: Morning times, or right after I get a reply for a thread that I am very jazzed about, loool. are you like your muse(s)?: In some ways, yes. I try to take care of people a lot, even at my own expense, and sometimes I internalize/blame myself for things that are out of my control.

i’m back w/ a fourth cutie wassup

birth name; magdalena ann romero ... but please, call her mags! (maggie is okay but mags is preferable)

born to miguel and felicia romero -- former fbi agents

it was a spy prep school. and to say she was a fish out of water was an understatement. she didn’t know which from what. hell, she didn’t even know what she was doing there at all.

prep school was..a culture shock. the fanciest thing she’d seen in her smallish town was fairy lights and tulle-decked decor during her eighth grade dance ( where she had danced with a boy!! scandalous )...the prep school her parents sent her to ( along with the kids in it ) were...living lives she could only dream about.

nonetheless, she found a small niche of friends she could have good conversations with. while she wasn’t the most aggressive, it was apparent that mags had talent for something. her resourcefulness served her well in prep school and when it came time to come to gallagher, the survival track made sense. medical sciences came after she had encountered some major forensic science figures through the prep school -- and who wouldn’t wanna do csi / bones - esque jobs for real?

personality: curious, gentle, resourceful, quick, witty -- she does her best to not come off too strong. she’s more lively around friends and people she’s comfortable with.

hobbies: reading, analyzing things, flower arranging, plants....petting cute animals ( someone come get her from the stables she’s too attached to the horses send help )

i must have a preference for the fbi bc mags also has fbi parents so if ur parents were fbi and attended prep school....u must’ve seen mags during her first day at prep school where she tripped over her own shoelaces!!
