Fantasy AU Bakudeku fic cuz trust me when I say that I love canon bkdk but the Fantasy one jUST HITS DIFFERENT!! (I just HAD to write something for them)

Okok but, I actually totally sympathize with bakugou and his entire being.

I actually hate how much relate to him. His aggressiveness, his passion, his everything.

That boy has so much yet at the same time he lacks so much. Sure he has hobbies, he has friends(?) now, he has a cool and awesome quirk, but in the end of the day, does that really benefit him in a way that’s gonna leave a good impression on himself? Because no one looks down on bakugou more than bakugou himself and honestly me too.

He lacks affection, he lacks a certain type of attention, he lacks therapy (deadass), he needs a genuinely good role mode that he can entrust even his deepest darkest secrets too (manifesting this for an aizawa and bakugou mentor-student relationship like all might and deku). Which, in a funny way deku sorta has(?) and he’s lowkey trying to give that to bakugou but hes too closed off, at least he was before, Im really confident that we’re gonna get a bkdk talk soon (pls hori im on my knees and their bruised af rn)

And just like bkg, deku too, has so much yet lacks so much at the same time. He’s received all the affection and love he can get from both his friends and mother. He has an okay(?) mentor-student relationship with all might.

But I think we can all agree that this bakugou-fucker has no regard for his life whatsoever

He’ll literally give up his life for guy he met on the street if ever in a life threatening situation. This bitch will not hesitate to throw himself onto the villains if given a proper chance and he has done that already countless of time. This boy has no hobbies, sure he has friends but does he see them as proper equals? Can he truly trust with their own lives?!? Lol no. I really think a lot of people fail to see this borderline apathetic side of deku and that really sucks because people just narrow him down as an, and i qoute “OP crybaby who got everything handed to him” when no?!?!?

You know, bakugou may be a selfish prick sometimes but he has his reasons, but what about deku? When it comes to life or death situations, he becomes cocky and selfish, he tried to do everything on his own even of he has no chance of winning.

In conclusion: I kin these two on level so high that even God has to look up just to see where that level is.

The Deku being selfish bit really hit me, cause it's so true. He's selfish and he doesn't care who it affects, because he had one goal in mind and it's to save. It doesn't matter how it makes other people feel or what happens to himself. The only person's feelings we've ever seen him consider in terms of his selfishness is Bakugou, who he opened up to about OfA because he didn't want him to look down on him or think he was lying to him.
