How pissed off do you think Simon would’ve been if reader did end up sleeping with the boss in a desperate attempt to get her job back??

I think u should make a plm-verse… perchance an angsty AU where reader does “give up” after the first fight where they said the mean shit and Simon finds her body 👉👈 I love fics where Simon regrets his words.

simon would be actually furious. furious at himself, furious at the boss, and at reader. in the fic we see he was pissed bc he was intending to come back anyway and so he thinks reader shouldn't have even bothered trying to get their job back.

so if reader had actually gone through with it that would be x10. not only that he would just feel so guilty that they had put themself through that because of him, because he abandoned them and they thought they had no other solution ): i think that would be an incredibly hard emotional hit for him.

also he absolutely would not be able to hold himself back from going after the boss. like ???? didn't u learn the FIRST time u old man??????? mr. boss man would be in fear for his life the second he sees that damn skull mask coming his way a second time....like the fact he extorted someone close to simon for sex in exchange for a job???????? simon wouldn't let scum like that continue to exist - mr. dawson would for sure be living with chronic pain for the rest of his life.

but i think overall, if reader had gone thru with it i think it would something very hard for simon to forgive himself for. once the anger of it happening washes away he would just be.........sad. he'd be guilty and regretful and i think that mistake would linger with him for a good long while ):

maybe it's because i haven't looked at the submas tag in forever but im surprised i haven't seen anyone mention that eri looks like ingo at all. like maybe it's because of the face paint obscuring her face but she literally has the white eyes and white hair. she also has that ripped up black coat in her official art. you'd think people would jump on that like how they jumped on the dreyden uncle headcanon

PLM: Iirc, Hisuian Zoroark was shown off in the trailers for Scarlet & Violet, so that could mean that Hisuian Pokémon are still around in the modern day, to some extent.

a what if for plm: reader tries to end it, but simon comes just in time to save them, or he just barely manages to get them to the hospital or something

how traumatizing do you think it would be for either or them

simon would be devastated omg. THIS is something he would never ever ever be able to overcome. not in a million years.

if reader actually attempted, he would never be able to forgive himself. he would 100% leave reader flat out, never return. he would not be able to get over the fact that it had gotten to that point, he wouldn't think he was safe to be around them anymore. he'd think he was dangerous - a monster ):

he'd sink himself into his work and probably become reckless on missions, getting himself hurt as a way to punish himself. he'd probably start getting absolutely wasted when he was on leave bc he wouldn't be able to cope with his thoughts ):

and the reader would honestly probably have no hope of recovering without him tbh. i don't think they would have any real reason to get better and work on themself without him??? and in the end neither of them would live very long without the other...🥹 the bad ending.....

You had me sobbing in the shower over PLM au where reader actually tried to attempt😭😭

Now to project and fix everything because I don't like my feelings being hurt and I'm going to pretend the problems away😍

Maybe as reader recovers in the hospital they try so many times to reach out to Simon. Calling and texting him but to no avail until finally they leave the hospital and tries one last time to call only to realize he blocked their number.

Reader, obviously devastated, tries to find him. Maybe goes to areas they used to go with him (grocery stores, parks, anything to try and find him.)

Maybe as reader starts picking up themselves up and trying to get better, they decide to start writing letters. Writing all of their thoughts to Simon. Telling him they miss him. That they need him. Promising that they're better because they convinced themselves being unstable is what drove him away.

Reader, keeps the first letter they wrote unable to send it. They write a new one, and finally has the guts to mail it to the base where it will hopefully reach him.

Simon, who miraculously somehow receives the letter. He stared at the handwriting for so long, trembling as he flipped the envelope between his fingers but can't open it. Tries everything to get rid of it, throwing it out, burning it, but he can't do it. So he shoves it in the back of one of his drawers.

Reader keeps sending letters, this time more tame. Talking about their life, updates, new jobs, friends. They sometimes write that they miss him. That they hope he's reading these. But even if he isn't it's okay, because they still somehow feel connected to him in a way.

Simon who starts denying mail. Maybe tells someone on base not to give him the letters anymore (idk how this works I'm not a military expert hafsgsf). Now all of the letters reader writes are tossed into a pile in a mail room, collecting dust, but still there.

But that first letter. Simon holds onto it. Sometimes he holds it up to the light, barely able to make out letters from the light passing through the paper. Traces his fingers over the opening.

Reader who does the same with the first letter she wrote for Simon.

HAJAHHEHWHVW ITS ME THE LETTER PERSON AGAIN HERE TO TRY AND ACTUALLY FIX IT

Maybe one day he opens the letter. Maybe a few years down the road when readers letter writing gets more and more sparse. Maybe Simon gets drunk on readers birthday, he hip checks his table and the letter falls out. Maybe he has a moment of weakness, wanting, needing any sort of physical reminder of reader even if it's just a piece of paper.

Despite his drunken clumsiness he opens it with the same delicacy he always had when he was with reader. He reads the letter so slowly. Digesting every word, committing the words to memory, carving them into his heart.

Maybe he passes out shortly after reading the letter. When he wakes in the morning, back aching and head throbbing. First thing he can remember is the letter. He scrambles, looking for the letter worried he might have ruined it, but it was exactly where he left it. Still pristine and laying right next to him. He reads it over and over, unsure of how to feel. He feels sick to his stomach. He feels relieved. He feels like running to reader. He feels like leaving the country.

Maybe he ignores the migrain settling in his skull and haphazardly rushes out of his room on the base to the mail room. Not even caring about the 'employees only' sign on the door as he pushes through, looking for the area where they keep unclaimed letters.

He finds a whole box, filled to the brim, all addressed to him. Hungrily, he reads through them. He pieces readers life together, filling in the blanks of their life. He notices that the dates between the letters have been getting longer and longer, the last one being sent almost a year ago now.

He's basically panicking now. Immediately his mind jumps to the worst, that reader attempted again and it was all his fault again. He vividly remembers that night he found reader.

It was so fresh, and he felt like throwing up again at the thought. So he does the only thing he can think of, rushing to readers flat.

Maybe by the time he gets there he's sweating, he's panting like he's never even breathed air before, he's shaking and on the verge of some sort of breakdown. He hesitates in front of the door unsure of whether to knock or barge in. He knocks, almost breaking the door off the hinges as he does so. And he doesn't stop until reader answers the door.

rowan do u think about what plm!simon is doing now bc i do and i think about the fact that while both of them love each other so much they have also hurt each other so deeply and simon probably still feels guilty for leaving us that day and saying mean things...

and in my mind palace he has been extra extra very sweet and attentive to us making sure we never feel too cold and very very soft and gentle and i need him so bad that is all thank u for coming to my ted talk i'm going to scream into my pillow now

i think plm!simon is probably going to be atoning for the rest of his life for the things he did and reader is probably trying their best to get better mentally and maybe stop being so neurotic over simon (but it's hard bc damn have u seen him id lock him in my basement if i could)

i think he is probably spending his days fixing things around a nice little house they have together (probably a fixer upper instead of a nice place outright). reader tries hard as hell not to ogle him while he installs new pipes under the sink bc damn he just looks SO good like that it never gets old!!!!!! he's the kinda man who will move the very earth if he is asked so !!!! he's just busy being obsessed <33333

HONESTLY ???? at that moment simon was really angry so i think he would just gotten even meaner if the reader stopped him that night he left to get laid. he probably would have said some even more diabolical shit that would have fucked them up beyond repair.

i think it's for the best reader let him go that first time because it let him get his head on straight for those few days and let him realize that what he did was wrong. if reader had cornered him even more and forced him to stay he wouldn't have had that chance to see that what he was doing was the Wrong Thing To Do !!!

i don't think PLM!simon was the type to hit the same person twice if i'm honest. like he slept with victoria once but that was gonna be it bc he doesn't want ppl getting attached to him (minus reader ofc <3) so he avoids seeing them again to keep their contact limited. victoria probably only got his number by sneaking it while he was in the shower or smthn 👁️
