currently on my third philip k dick novel and finally hitting that point of “oh he writes all the women in his books as pretty much the same simpering manipulative unstable idiots” and it’s otherwise really good literature so i’m like is he using the narrative structure to delve into the character’s worldview and illustrating how his relationships with women are limited by patriarchy or is he just like. steven kinging it
