hello !!! i was just wondering if you think there are any other bands peter would like besides nirvana, pink floyd, and rush ?? he gives me classic rock (& just rock in general) vibes tbh !!
anon you just opened up a can of worms !!
i once did extensive research into this. way more than anyone should for a character way past his relevance. and i'm still discovering new tunes i think he'd be into all the time !! i'll try not make this long winded (it will be). but for now...
🎶👾 peter maximoff's (potential) favorite tunes 👾🎶
we already know pink floyd, rush, and nirvana are included. they're shown through the shirts he wears !!
rush is a major one. because unlike the other two, apocalypse era peter has rush all around him !! the rush posters in his basement. the leg cast with "i luv rush." it's safe to say he's kind of a rush fanboy (and he's so real for that because rush is rad as hell).
i have a list of bands/artists i can confirm he canonically likes, as they've been referenced before. whether it be through background clues (posters, background music, etc), or because they were explicitly mentioned by people involved in making the films.
🎶 yardbirds 🎶 the doors 🎶 led zeppelin 🎶 buffalo springfield 🎶 alice cooper 🎶 jim croce 🎶 neil diamond
and while we know he listens to eurythmics (sweet dreams), i don't necessarily include them as a band. just because i personally feel this has less to do with the artist, and more about whatever was mainstream in 1983 (but you can choose to include them if you want !! after all, people mostly listened to whole albums back then).
peter definitely enjoys rock overall. but he doesn't seem averse to mainstream pop either. so we can probably assume he'll listen to anything, as long as it's catchy !!
here's some bands/artists we can assume he likes based on what we already know:
🎶 jimi hendrix 🎶 cream 🎶 the beatles 🎶 fleetwood mac 🎶 queen 🎶 david bowie 🎶 tom petty 🎶 ac/dc 🎶 bon jovi 🎶 journey 🎶 guns n roses 🎶 the eagles 🎶 joan jett & the blackhearts 🎶 deff leppard 🎶 tears for fears 🎶 michael jackson
and if there's some other classics i missed (from the 60's/70's/80's) you think he might like - please feel free to drop me an ask !! i'd love to add more to the list !!
lastly, i'm gonna drop some bands/artists i personally like to think he might listen to. mostly because it's fun to imagine so:
🎶 iggy pop 🎶 bee gees 🎶 thin lizzy 🎶 toto 🎶 a flock of seagulls 🎶 elton john 🎶 u2 🎶 redbone 🎶 madonna (i 100% believe it, you can't convince me otherwise) 🎶 pearl jam 🎶 radiohead 🎶 red hot chili peppers 🎶 green day 🎶 my chemical romance 🎶 beastie boys 🎶 smash mouth 🎶 nickelback (fight me, i dare you)
if you're looking for any specific songs, there's a really awesome playlist i listen to religiously. chai_vibes's "songs peter maximoff would unironically listen to" is so peak !! and i'll go ahead and drop my own peter maximoff playlist too, just because i worked really hard on it !! lol
happy listening !! thanks for hearin' me out !!

★ creepypasta music headcanons ★
characters mentioned:
ticci toby, nina the killer, jane the killer, clockwork, eyeless jack, jeff the killer.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
WARNINGS (?)
I apologize if any of the genres are wrong, I looked most of them up on google.
I do not own any of the songs/albums I'm also not part of the bands mentioned, nor am I the singer/songwriter.
I claim NO ownership to any of them.
Also, if any of these bands/singers are involved in any serious controversies, please tell me so I can replace them.
Please understand that these are headcanons, and may not be 100% accurate to the characters themselves.
(I just felt like I should say that before I start this)
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
Ticci toby
Midwestern emo / indie rock
Duster, modern baseball, the smiths, mom jeans, neutral milk hotel, merchant ships, etc.
He thinks he's super cool and special because of his music taste
He's the type of person to say stuff like "YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY LIKE THIS SONG THE WAY I LIKE THIS SONG"
he will argue with someone over the smiths
He likes to sit outside in the snow and smoke a cigarette while listening to music, even though he got hypothermia once from doing that.
Nina the killer
crunkcore / metalcore / rap
Bullet for my valentine, brokencyde, millionaires, breathe carolina, dot dot curve, hollywood undead, etc.
she goes around the manor saying "BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, POW, POW, POW, POW" (dot dot curve song reference) all the time, and it gets on everyone's nerves
there's not a time when she isn't listening to music tbh, even when she's out killing
sometimes she'll make her victims listen to one of her playlists and rate it, if they give it a good rating she'll give them a fast and easy death, but if they give it a bad rating.. slow and painful.
Clockwork
rock and roll / glam metal
Joan jett & the blackheart's, guns n' roses, the rolling stones, ramones, queen, the runaways, etc.
Joan jett is her idol
Her walls are COVERED in band posters, and she also collects old magazines just cause she thinks they're cool
She knows how to play guitar, the only reason she learned how to play was because of slash from guns n' roses
She will try to fight you if you talk shit about her favorite bands
Jane the killer
dark wave / post punk / gothic rock
siouxsie and the banshees, she past away, bauhaus, the cure, london after midnight, lycia etc
She's a fan of the cure, tobys a fan of the smiths.. they fight, a lot.
she collects a lot of cd/tapes of her favorite bands, and plays them ALLLL the time
if she's not too busy sometimes she'll go to a goth club, she doesn't really dance though.. she'll just stand at the back of the club and vibe
She usually doesn't care about other people's opinions when it comes to music, but if you diss robert smith she's throwing hands.
Eyeless Jack
Alternative hip-hop / britpop / psychedelic pop
Blur, tame Impala, oasis, MF DOOM, beastie boys, out kast, etc.
he will correct you if you spell it "mf doom" instead of "MF DOOM" but other than that, he's a pretty chill guy
He secretly thinks that blur is a bit better than oasis, but he'll never say that out loud.
he doesn't take music too seriously
he has a "each to their own" mentality when it comes to music
he does collect records though, and if he sees even a tiny scratch on one of his records he freaks out.
If you need a good playlist to listen to during a smoke sesh, he's your guy.
Jeff the killer
dsbm / hardcore punk / death metal
Woods of desolation, bathory, cradle of filth, forgotten tomb, carcass, the exploited, etc.
Regularly calls people "posers" and he will make you name eight songs instead of five
he thinks any other music is overrated, and will voice that opinion.
Average reddit user (I'm sorry)
He looks cool as hell in corpse paint though
He frequently goes to shows, but he has no "mosh pit etiquette" if he sees someone fall, he'll just stomp over them and continue moshing.

Character Playlist: Lily Spencer
So I thought I'd make a playlist that's both vibrant and fun, and deep and introspective, because Lily embodies both for me. Four of the songs I chose have video game references, of which one ("Too Much is Never Enough") was inspired by music in video games.
You'll find the playlist here. Do give it a listen!
Tagging @lilyspencerappreciationweek and @sazanes for LSAW Day 2: Lily the Gamer
Bad Reputation - Joan Jett & the Blackhearts
An' I don't give a damn 'bout my reputation
Never said I wanted to improve my station
An' I'm only doin' good when I'm havin' fun
An' I don't have to please no one
Love in December - Club 8
So you fall
when the nights grow longer
into sleep
You won't wake up
And I'm here, I'm sitting beside you
and I'll wait
until the spring
Telephone - Ladh Gaga ft. Beyonce
Boy, the way you blowing up my phone
Won't make me leave no faster
Put my coat on faster
Leave my girls no faster
I should've left my phone at home
'Cause this is a disaster
Calling like a collector
Sorry, I cannot answer
Video Games - The Young Professionals
Go play a video game
It's you, it's you, it's all for you
Everything I do
I tell you all the time
Heaven is a place on Earth with you
Tell me all the things you wanna do
I heard that you like bad girls; honey, is that true?
Disturbia - Rihanna
Put on your break lights
We're in the city of wonder
Ain't gonna play nice
Watch out, you might just go under
Better think twice
Your train of thought will be altered
So if you must falter be wise
Don't Panic - Coldplay
Bones, sinking like stones
All that we fought for
Homes, places we've grown
All of us are done for
And we live in a beautiful world
Yeah, we do, yeah, we do
We live in a beautiful world
Game On - Waka Flocka Flame ft. Good Charlotte
It's amazin' all the places and the people faces
Ah, bought the tour bus like a spaceship
I'm racin' against nothin' but time
Probably wouldn't be so lost if you was watchin' the signs
Too Much Is Not Enough - Florence + the Machine
Oh, who decides from where up high?
I couldn't say: I need more time
Oh, grant that I can stay the night
Or one more day inside this life
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
That's all they really want
Some fun
When the workin' day is done
Oh girls, they wanna have fun
Oh girls just wanna have fun...
Stockings - Suzanne Vega
Do you know where friendship ends
And passion does begin?
It's between the binding of
Her stockings and her skin.
Nintendo Game - Alessia Cara
All the trashtalk is getting reload
I'd rather try my hand at Rainbow Road
I'm focused, play my next move
But you're onto me so it's no use
It's a showdown, a game for two
Pick each other's brains looking for clues
A battle with no objective
Who will be the final one standing?
Don't Stop Me Now - Queen
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky like a tiger
Defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go, go, go, there's no stopping me

What's up sluts (affectionate)
I’m Bee, a Pākehā living in Aotearoa that uses she/they pronouns. Anyone being creepy or discriminatory will be blocked without hesitation (no racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogynists, ableists, paedophilia, TERFs, etc. etc.) but minors are absolutely ok so long as you don't mind a bit of swearing :)
CONTENT WARNINGS This blog contains quite a bit of swearing and is not spoiler free for any of the fandoms listed below. There isn't any NSFW content and I can't think of anything else that warrants a TW, but if you see something, please let me know and I'll add it - that's valid!
TAGS save that for later: for things I want to refer back to bee buzzes: me generally going on rants or infodumping but I always forget to use the tag so there's not much under it
If you're interested in any of the many, many fandoms I'm part of, I love to chat (as you can tell by this disgustingly long intro post) so hit me up! I'll add a list under the cut and leave it open-ended so I can add more, because I am ravenously consuming more media - books, movies, TV shows, bands - and becoming more powerful.

Labyrinth; The Princess Bride; Indiana Jones; Back to the Future; Pride and Prejudice; Dead Poets Society; The Truman Show; Knives Out; Stardust; Night at the Museum; The Terminator & Terminator 2: Judgement Day; Jurassic Park; Labyrinth; Hunt for the Wilderpeople; The Rocky Horror Picture Show...

I do not agree with JKR’s transphobic views at all and 99% of my fandom activity is centred on the marauders era); The Hunger Games; Percy Jackson/the Riordanverse (not really anymore though); Heartstopper; The Picture of Dorian Gray; We Hunt the Flame duology; One Last Stop; Red, White, and Royal Blue; The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo; Howl’s Moving Castle; The Traitor and the Thief duology; Kaitangata Twitch; the Heidi series; Little Women series; most things by Roald Dahl; the Robert Langdon books; All the Light We Cannot See...

THE TOP 100 DEFINITIVE ROCK RECORDS
Below is a list of the 100 records I believe define the spirit and the essence of Rock Music. They are, I believe, the answer to the question, "What is Rock?" They embody the qualities that make the music what it is. Attitude, arrogance, energy, spirit, sex, and rebellion are all part of it. But because Rock was originally often made by, and, certainly, for teenagers, there is also clumsiness, amateurism, uncertainty, and an eagerness to please. Oh, and one more thing - you should be able to dance to it.
This is a list of records - not songs. The performance counts. So does the production, and the arrangement. These songs, in hands other than the ones chosen here, might not make the list at all. And not every record on the list has every quality listed above. (Ever try dancing to Siberian Khatru by Yes?) But, I believe each fits in its own way. In no particular order then, here are my choices:

Would Eddie Munson like the songs on my playlist?
Except I have what many would consider questionable taste at best and believe that people, even metalheads, can like more than one music genre. No idea if this is a modern au or an everybody lives au or what because it’s a mess but I digress. 18 and Life - Skid Row Duh. Loves Sebastian Bach-- maybe a little bit too much. 1985 - Bowling for Soup Yeah, the nostalgia train hit modern Munson hard with this one. Not his style of music but loves the references. Alone - Heart Secretly. Belts it out in the car. And So It Goes - Billy Joel Probably not a Joel fan, but he, like, gets it. As It Was - Harry Styles Though I think it’s possible that he would like some Styles songs, he’d think that this one is commercial music. Babooshka - Kate Bush Yes. A resounding yes. An unashamed, unabashed yes. The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing - Danny Kaye Not really his style. “Old people music.” Blackbird - The Beatles The first song he learned on guitar. For sure a soft spot. Black Dog - Led Zeppelin Though not metal, Zepp was his first foray into “heavier” music. Blessings - Chance the Rapper Though I’m in the minority that thinks Eddie would develop a healthy appreciation for rap, Chance would not be one of those rappers. Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen Yeah, Eddie loves Queen. Argue with your mom. Freddie is a hero of his and he loves Roger’s vocals as well. Brush Up Your Shakespeare - Kiss Me Kate No musicals. God no. The Chain - Fleetwood Mac I honestly don’t think he’s given Fleetwood Mac much thought one way or another. Like, it’s not really his style of music, but if someone were to say it was their favorite band he’d probably just be like, “Oh. Cool!” Chateau (Feel Alright) - Djo Maybe as a high jam. Maybe. Crazy Crazy Nights - KISS No. Hates KISS. Could get the same message from about 10 other, better songs. Dreams - Fleetwood Mac See number 13. Maybe the soundtrack to an acid trip he had once. Don’t Go Breaking My Heart - Elton John and Kiki Dee Hates it, but definitely got pulled into a drunken karaoke rendition once (he was Kiki. Steve was Elton). Drive My Car - The Beatles Meh. He gets that they’re The Beatles and he respects that, but he’s not going out of his way to listen. Falling - Harry Styles No. Respects the “I’m well aware I write too many songs about you” line, though. Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy - Queen Once wrote an entire DnD one-shot where all of the characters and places were inspired by songs. The Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy made his appearance as an NPC. Glory of Love - Peter Cetera Would strangle Peter Cetera with his bare hands if he could. Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar Definitely just me projecting, but I think Eddie loves powerful women voices. Whether you read him as being attracted to women or not I think he just *clenches fist* loves women. Home Sweet Home - Motley Crue Yeah, dude loves Crue. Wants to be Mick Mars, especially after injuries sustained in the Upside Down. Hopelessly Devoted to You - Olivia Newton John Go-to drunk karaoke song. Will never hear him admit to being a Grease fan outside of this context, but is definitely a comfort movie of his (he is, obviously, more of a Rizzo fan than a Sandy fan, but he’s a drama queen before all else and nothing says drama more than “Hopelessly.”). I Hate Myself for Loving You - Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Please picture with me, if you will, a Corroded Coffin gig. Eddie has just gotten into a fight with his significant other (a small one, probably a misunderstanding, but Eddie is dramatic and loves and opportunity to “suffer for his art”). He knows they’ll be there. They never miss a show. So here comes Eddie, all eyeliner, leather, and angst, and they open with this. Of course, immediately after the gig it’s “I’m sorry baby,” and “You were amazing up there,” and all is forgiven. I Know the End - Phoebe Bridgers I think every single Stranger Things character would find the parallels between their lives and this song to be too uncanny not to like this song. I’m in Love with My Car - Queen Uh, yeah. Especially mechanic Eddie. He’d tie his hair back and have this song blasting, singing along while he looks under the hood. Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin This song is pure feral energy, just like Eds. I Punched Keanu Reeves - Hello Peril While hilarious (iykyk), no. He has an emotional attachment to Bill and Ted. Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry Yes. Is actively upset that Back to the Future tried to erase Chuck Berry’s genius by implying a white kid gave him the idea for this song. Killer Queen - Queen Favorite Queen song by far. Let’s Hear It for the Boy - Deniece Williams Does not like a single song from it, but actually really enjoyed Footloose. An oppressive small town, a guy who likes heavier music… so sue him, he identifies. Light My Love - Greta Van Fleet I love him, but Eddie would totally be a “Greta Van Fleet is a Led Zeppelin rip off” truther; man would listen to a single song and go off about authenticity and corporate bullshit before literally never giving them another chance again. Neighbors - J. Cole I genuinely think Eddie would be very stereotypically “I hate rap” for most of his teens and early twenties, but I think eventually he’d grow to appreciate any type of fight through music, especially protest songs, which this is. Norwegian Wood - The Beatles This is the perfect campfire song, and I think if you could convince Eddie to go acoustic for a weekend and go camping, this would be the first song he’d learn. Paranoid - Black Sabbath Eddie canonically likes Sabbath, so I would hope he likes one of their best singles. Is definitely on every “Intro to Metal” mixtape he’s ever made for his friends. Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God) - Kate Bush Pretty indifferent to it pre-Max. Now has a mixtape of everyone’s favorite songs. He carries it everywhere. Also learned it on guitar and plays it at the hospital when and if his name is cleared and he’s allowed in. Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting) - Elton John “Token good Elton song,” according to him. Scarborough Fair/Canticle - Simon and Garfunkel Definitely something he would base a campaign off of. Soldier, Poet, King - The Oh Hellos As with every other DnD nerd, regardless of music preference, he fixates on it. Is the source of at least half of his LoTR/Ren Faire/DnD fantasies (the softer, less badass ones he doesn’t talk about). Refuses to believe it’s Jesus music. Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus Are you kidding? This song is basically an autobiographical account of his life if/when he had a crush on anyone in a different friend group.

THE VAMPIRE LESTAT COVER ALBUM - the legendary Vampire Lestat is back and bigger and badder than ever, this time bringing a whole album of song covers ranging from classic bangers to newer fresh takes on chart hits! get your copy now, complete with a transcript of the artist's commentary on each song!
(songs I think Lestat would cover and release as an album in an attempt to re-kickstart his career and/or make some sort of dramatic statement to Louis. tracklist and "artist commentary" under the cut)
Survival - Muse
“And I’ll reveal my strength, to the whole human race, yes I am prepared, to stay alive, and I won’t forgive, and vengeance is mine, and I won’t give in, because I choose to thrive! Yeah I’m gonna win!”
Oh, I wish this song had been around back on that opening night at the Cow Palace - how apt that would have been! What a fucking anthem! They would have been rioting all night. I mean, they already were, but, like, because of the music. Not because vampires were being immolated in the middle of the crowd. Different kind of riot.
The Bitch Is Back - Elton John
“I’m a bitch, I’m a bitch, oh the bitch is back, stone cold sober as a matter of fact, I can bitch, I can bitch, ‘cause I’m better than you, it’s the way that I move, the things that I do!”
One day I want to have this play as I walk into Night Island. I’ll time it perfectly so that I throw off my coat - my denim jacket, or- oh, no, a fur! Maximum drama! - just as the chorus starts. Armand will know that I’m coming of course, but I think that’ll just make it even better. And I have good memories to this song... [muffled question] Sorry, gentlemen don’t kiss and tell, bébé. [laughter]
Everybody Loves Me - OneRepublic
"Oh my, feels just like I don’t try, look so good I might die, all I know is everybody loves me, head down, swaying to my own sound, flashes in my face now, all I know is everybody loves me”
Look, do I even need to explain this one? Didn’t think so.
Bad Reputation - Joan Jett
"I don't give a damn ‘bout my reputation, I've never been afraid of any deviation, and I don't really care if you think I'm strange, I ain't gonna change - and I'm never gonna care bout my bad reputation"
This one's fairly self-explanatory again. It could have been my personal anthem when I was mortal quite honestly. And it's an awful lot of fun to jump about and headbang to, don't you think? That's a new thing I've found out about, headbanging. People have been hopping about to music looking like fools for centuries but now there's a name for it. Fantastic.
bad guy - Billie Eilish
"I’m that bad type, make your mama sad time, make your girlfriend mad type, might seduce your dad time… I’m the bad guy. Duh.”
Creepy? Check. Sexy? Check. Tongue-in-cheek? Check check. This song was great and a lot of fun to cover.
Lover to Lover - Florence + the Machine
“I believe there’s no salvation for me now, no space among the clouds, and I feel I’m heading down, but that’s alright, that’s alright, that’s alright”
I don’t know, this one just felt very relevant. Also the piano was great to do. You might have noticed that I’ve picked a lot of songs with piano, and that’s because I bullied the studio into getting me a goooooorgeous grand piano for the recording space and I wanted to use it as much as possible!
Feeling Good - Muse
“Stars when you shine, you know how I feel, scent of the pine, you know how I feel, oh freedom is mine, and I know how I feel”
I just really like this song - I’ve done a cover of an excellent cover! Can- can you put emojis in this? Do people still use emojis? Well imagine I’ve put the shrug one. Wait, isn’t there- Daniel, Daniel, come here, isn’t there a shrug emoji made up of keyboard- [muffled words] yes! The shrug one! Yes, put that in the transcription. [ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ] I just like this song.
The Man - The Killers
“I got gas in the tank, I got money in the bank, I got news for you baby, you're looking at the man, I got skin in the game, I got a household name, I got news for you baby, you're looking at the man”
I feel like this one speaks for itself too. Can you put that shrug emoji thing in here again? [ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ] Yes!
Look, I'm not going to translate the whole song for you, because it has all this clever wordplay you just totally lose in english… but the gist of it is that these two lovers are… at odds a lot. It's… it's maybe a little spiteful [laughter] but in a fun way! It's a fun song! Louis won't even be mad about it, it's MIKA.
Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy - Queen
"When I'm not with you, think of you always (I miss those long hot summer nights), when I'm not with you, think of me always, always"
[Long pause] God, I miss Freddie.
Let 'Em Talk - Kesha
Ah, full disclosure - I put this song in purely because of the expression Louis made when I played it in the car and it got to the line “can suck my dick” and she did that popping noise… it was incredible, and I just knew I had to cover it so I could see his expression when I said that. I can’t wait to play it to him. [laughter]
So What - P!nk
"So so what, I'm still a rockstar, I got my rock moves, and I don't need you, and guess what? I'm having more fun, and now that we're done, I'm gonna show you tonight, I'm alright, I'm just fine, (and you're a tool, so)"
I'm actually a big fan of nineties and noughties female stars - all that grrrrrrrl power, it's great fun, you know? I'd say this one is fairly self-explanatory, because I am still a rockstar! This is my new album! Fuck you EMP and your sniffy little article calling me "washed up"!
Little Lion Man - Mumford & Sons
"But it was not your fault but mine, and it was your heart on the line, I really fucked it up this time, didn't I my dear?"
This one could be self-deprecating, but it's also very vindictively angry at the same time, and that's a combination I definitely get. Like, oh, it's my fault, isn't it? It's my fucking fault again, what a surprise. Perhaps "learn from your mother or you'll spend your days biting your own neck" is a little on the nose… [muffled words] you've read my books, right? [muffled words] Good, good.
Missy - The Airbourne Toxic Event
"But I swear there's still some good in me, I think if you'd stuck around you'd see, all the botched attempts at integrity I once had"
Oh, I was feeling philosophical when I picked this one. No, philosophical isn't the right word… melancholy? Do people still use that word? "I swear I swear I swear I'll never get sad" is both furiously defiant and yet so self-defeatingly ironic. [Exasperated noise] Enough of that. Next!
Please Don't Leave Me - P!nk
"I don't know if I can yell any louder, how many times have I kicked you out of here, or said something insulting? I can be so mean when I wanna be, I am capable of nearly anything, when my heart is broken… (please, please don't leave me)"
Oh, we’re… we’re getting to this section now. [clearing throat] Well, I have to make up for that sucking dick line, don’t I? Get a bit vulnerable. Oh God, why did I decide to do this bit? [muffled words] [bad chicago accent] But why buy the cow? Because you love him, you really do. [sigh, laughter]
Next To Me - Imagine Dragons
"Oh, I always let you down, shattered on the ground, still I find you there, next to me, and oh, the stupid things I do, I'm far from good it's true, still I find you, next to me"
Why did I- I don’t remember putting so many of these ones in.
Run To You - Pentatonix
"I've been settling scores, I've been fighting so long, but I've lost your war, and our kingdom is gone... how shall I win back your heart which was mine? I have broken bones and tattered clothes, I've run out of time"
[Sigh] [clears throat] Yeah. I think we can move onto the next one.
Love of My Life - Queen
“Love of my life, don't leave me, you've stolen my love, you now desert me, love of my life, can't you see? Bring it back, bring it back, don't take it away from me, because you don't know, what it means to me”
I play this one sometimes on my baby grand when we've had a fight, and it's impossible for him to stay angry. He's a sucker for this sort of… formality in romance. God, I wish I'd realised that earlier. If I'd written him a letter in fancy copperplate script with scented paper and enclosed rose petals politely requesting him to bend me over his desk back in the day, it might not have taken two centuries of mutual blue balls for us to figure our shit out. Ah well, live and learn… as it were. [muffled words] Look, I did a whole bunch of vulnerable songs! Now I get to make sex jokes! [laughter] oh fuck off.

🍓 🍎 🍒🍐🍉🍌🍊 (yes I know that's all of them except 1... but please only do this if you want to!)
Sam!! Of course I want too ! This took me a while to answer but I love this ask game so thanks for the ask lol 💚💚💚💚💚
send me a 🍓 and I’ll make a moodboard of things I associate with you
send a 🍎 and I’ll try to describe you as if you were a book character or someone in a song
I think you would be the quiet loner or the funny sarcastic rebel probably a combination of the two. Either way you would be the cool snarky badass character that stands apart from the rest and always has the best one liners. Spends most of their time alone and other people might find them intimidating but once you get to know them they are actually incredibly kind and an extremely loyal friend. The character that the main character befriends and teaches them that other people are idiots and you shouldn’t care what they think. Or maybe the character that was once a villain but has been adopted by a group of heroesos they still have their villain side and enjoy getting into trouble every now and then but now they have a group of friends they care about and are protective over, they might not admit they are a big softy cause on the outside they are calm and cool but lord help anyone who tries to hurt their friends.
send a 🍒 and I’ll describe/make a combined aesthetic for me and my mutual
send a 🍐 and I’ll describe my first thoughts on the mutual you send from when I met them
You were one of my favorite blogs. You seemed really cool and tbh I was a little intimidated I wasn’t sure if you’d want to be my friend but then I finally decided to message you and you were the sweetest and most supportive person and still really cool too ! 😊
send a 🍉 and I’ll describe the first things I want to do with my mutual once I see them in real life
Ok if you were to visit me then the first thing we do is we of course have to go to universal! then a movie marathon and maybe go to the beach or the aquarium. ooh And You'd definitely need to meet Indy and Penny I think it would be fun to take them to the park
send a 🍌 and I’ll say what characters I think of when I think of my mutual
Some of these are because we’ve talked about them before others are just because ✨vibes✨ lmao : Sirius black, Loki,Bucky barnes , Richie Tozier, Spike,Spencer Reid, Aaron Hotchner,Tony stark,General Kirigan,Billy Russo,Penelope Garcia, valkyrie,Fred Weasley,Jesper Fahey, druig eternals,Wanda Maximoff, eggsy unwin,Velma Dinkley, lydia deetz, jessica jones, klaus tua, randy meeks, stu macher ,Darcy Lewis, poe dameron ,geralt and jaskier, rubel grimm, sydney novak ,Abby Hammond, veronica sawyer, nancy downs, wednesday addams, max mayfield,John Bender, rizzo - grease, dallas winston, michelle jones, david the lost boys, severen, erik lehnsherr,Freddy Freeman ,charlie dalton, michelle and pickforrd -dazed and confused, roberta now and then , and so many others
send a 🍊 and I’ll say what song I think of when I I think of my mutual

17 and 20 for all the ROs?
17) What they’d sing at karaoke
using modern examples because i myself am not from the year 2077 and unfortunately do not know what songs are out there in that year
Dylan: One of those people that doesn't feel confident enough to sing a song they'd actually like to, so sings something with comedic value. Notable examples include:
All Star by Smash Mouth, Santeria by Sublime.
Stéphanie: Sloshed out of her mind. Goes VERY hard for the song, lays herself back across a table while she's singing. An absolute Performance.
Can't Take My Eyes off You by Frankie Valli, Put Your Head On My Shoulder by Paul Anka.
Dorothea: Sings her favourite classics she got down to growing up, loves it when the audience participates.
Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen, Old Time Rock & Roll by Bob Seger.
[Locked]: Has a golden voice absolutely built for this. Sings some real crowd pleasers that get all of the attention on her, gets in someone's face to serenade and flirt.
I Love Rock 'N Roll by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Hotel California by Eagles.
20) Household chore they hate the most
Dylan: All of them. But most especially, she hates putting her clothes away. Most often keeps her clean clothes in her laundry basket and her dirties on the floor next to it.
Stéphanie: Dishes, which is why she had a dishwasher, until Claude so rudely quit! You're really telling her that she has to cook and wash the dishes she used?!
Dorothea: Doesn't have to deal with household chores, but if she did, she wouldn't want to make the bed. What's the point?! Literally what's the point?! She's going to sleep in it again tonight! And why the fitted sheets?! That's too much work for something she only uses at night!
[Locked]: Please never make her mow the lawn again. She is too sexy to have to do all of this. Please.
#yeah this was my favourite i had fun#thank you so much for this babe omg lmao gave me ideas 4 karaoke tomorrow too#ro: stéphanie#ro: dylan#[locked] ro#ro: dorothea#anon#trying to make the wall of text easier to read but idk if its working

My first thought in regard to every band that gets played on my radio station
ACDC: Every dad’s favourite band
Adams, Bryan: Every mom’s favourite singer until Michael Buble came along
Aerosmith: haha they thought Vince Neil was a lady
Alice Cooper: he’s a Game Of Thrones fanboy and I have proof
Alice In Chains: my sister doesn’t like them because she decided AC were Alice Cooper’s initials ONLY
Allman Brothers Band: good music for dropping acid to
Allman, Gregg: That’s too many Gs for one name
Animals: House Of The Rising Sun, or who even cares
Argent: Sometimes Hold Your Head Up is really catchy
Asia: Tuesdays
Autograph: one of the members went on to be a pharmacist
Bachman-Turner Overdrive: There are just so many pop culture jokes about Taking Care Of Business that whatever I say won’t be as funny
Bad Company: with their song; Bad Company, off their album; Bad Company
Benatar, Pat: Always getting her confused with Patti Smith
Black Crowes: I like them for Lickin, but it doesn’t seem to exist outside of one shoddy video on youtube and my old CD
Blackfoot: this band name feels kind of racy
Black Sabbath: Dio was not better or worse than Ozzy; just different
Blondie: I like Call Me, but Blondie confuses me stylistically
Blue Oyster Cult: MORE COWBELL
Bon Jovi: Hello, childhood trauma, I missed you
Boston: ONE GUY. ONE GUY DID IT ALL AND NO ONE KNOWS
Bowie, David: Don’t let your children watch The Man Who Fell To Earth, or David Bowie’s will end up being the third penis they see in life
Browne, Jackson: Another musician ruined by Supernatural
Buffalo Springfield: Jack Nicholson was at the riot they sing about
Burdon, Eric: no ideas, brain empty
Bush: ditto
Candlebox: ditto once more. Who are these people?
Cars: This band feels so gay and so straight at the same time, I can only assume they’re the poster children of bisexual panic
Cheap Trick: I played Dream Police on Guitar Hero so fucking much because it was the only song anyone who played with me could keep up with
Chicago: Chicago 30 exists, but they do not have 30 albums. Fucking riddle me that
Clapton, Eric: 6 discs in one Greatest Hits is too many. That’s called “re releasing your discography”
Cochrane, Tom: For some reason, everyone thinks Rascal Flats did it better
Cocker, Joe: Belushi did it right
Collective Soul: who?
Collins, Phil: If his biggest hits were done by MCR, they would be emo anthems, but because he’s 5′6″ and from the 80s, they’re not
Cream: *Vietnam flashbacks on the hippie side*
CCR: *Vietnam flashbacks on the war side*
CSNY: David Crosby; meh
Deep Purple: THEY’RE SO MUCH MORE THAN SMOKE ON THE WATER
Def Leppard: the only music for when you’re a heartbroken bitch but also a sexy one
Derek And The Dominos: Clapton and ‘Layla’ broke up
Derringer, Rick: Tom Petty if he was from the midwest
Dio: You thought it was an anime reference, but it was me, Dio
Dire Straits: You can tell how bigoted a radio station is based on how much of Money For Nothing they censor
Doobie Brothers: I have yet to smoke weed, but I listen to the Doobies, and I think that’s pretty close
Dylan, Bob: I take back everything I said about him in my youth
Eagles: Hotel California isn’t their best song, but the memes that come from it are second to none
Edgar Winter Group: @the--blackdahlia
Electric Light Orchestra: Actually an orchestra and sound a fuckton like George Harrison
ELO: I really hesitate to ask what happens with the 7 virgins and a mule
Essex, David: no prominent memories of him
Fabulous Thunderbirds: cannot spell
Faces: Who on earth thought that was a good album name?
Faith No More: I got nothing
Fixx: One Thing Leads To Another is a damn bop
Fleetwood Mac: I ain’t straight, but I’m simply not enough of a witch to enjoy them to full potential
Fogerty, John: He got sued cause he sounded like himself
Foghat: Slow Ride slowly becoming less coherent feels like a drug trip
Foo Fighters: He was just excited to buy a grill
Ford, Lita: deserved better
Foreigner: dramatically overplayed
Frampton, Peter: a masterful user of the talk box
Free: dramatically underplayed
Gabriel, Peter: leaving Genesis changed him a lot
Genesis: if someone likes Genesis, clarify the era, because yes, it does matter
Georgia Satellites: sing like you have a cactus in your ass
Golden Earring: Twilight Zone slaps, but it doesn’t slap as hard as this station thinks it does
Grand Funk Railroad: Funk
Grateful Dead: I like their aesthetic more than their music
Great White: there are so many fucking shark jokes
Greenbaum, Norman: makes me think of Subway for some reason
Green Day: the first of the emo revolution
Greg Kihn Band: RocKihnRoll is literally the most clever album name I’ve ever seen
Guns N Roses: They have more than three good songs, but radio stations never recognize that
Hagar, Sammy: I’m still trying to figure out where he lived to take 16 hours to get to LA driving 55 and how fucking fast was he driving beforehand?
Harrison, George: He went from religious to rock, and if he had continued rocking, he would have gotten too cool
Head East: I respect people who use breakfast foods as album names
Heart: Magic Man and Barracuda are played at least once every goddamn day. They’re not even the best songs!
Hendrix, Jimi: I have both a cousin and a sibling named after Hendrix references
Henley, Don: Dirty Laundry gives me too much inspiration
Hollies: Somehow sound like they’re both from the 60s and the 80s at the same time
Idol, Billy: he’s doing well for himself
INXS: Terminator vibes
Iris, Donnie: knockoff Roy Orbison
James Gang: too many funks
Jane’s Addiction: if TMNT had a grunge band representative

John Cafferty And The Beaver Brown Band: literally wtf is that name
John, Elton: yarn Elton sits in my basement, unstaring. Please someone take him from me
Joplin, Janis: Queen
Journey: Stop overplaying Don’t Stop Believing. It takes away from the rest of the repetoire

Rush: How to make being uncool the coolest fucking shit
Santana: The world needs more Santana
Scandal: There’s something really funny about The Warrior being my brother’s “song” with his girlfriend
Scorpions: Was Wind Of Change written by the CIA? Only the spotify podcast I got an ad for once could say
Seger, Bob: A different variety of Eric Clapton (frankly a better variety, but that’s just me)
Simple Minds: we ALL forgot about you
Skid Row: Sebastian Bach is prettier than all of us
Soundgarden: music that makes you feel like you dunked your head underwater
Springsteen, Bruce: my arch-nemesis. Maybe someday, he’ll find out about it
Squeeze: according to my friends, the stupidest band name ever, but they’re theatre kids, so you know
Squier, Billy: If he can make it through 1984 alive, you can make it through whatever bad day you’re having
Stealers Wheel: Yet another band who I always mistake for George Harrison
Steely Dan: my house’s nickname for the Robber in Settlers Of Catan
Steppenwolf: Either makes me think of Jay & Silent Bob, Jack Nicholson, or that time I had to cut 6lbs of onions
Steve Miller Band: when you’re in the right mood, they slap hard
Stewart, Rod: my soundtrack to summer 2015
Stills, Stephen: Love The One You’re With Is Catchy, but the lyrics are questionable
Stone Temple Pilots: the only band to write a song about goo you smear on yourself
Stray Cats: an obscene amount of merch is available for them
Styx: Supernatural would have ruined them for me too if I hadn’t been into them previously.
Supertramp: I hunted for Breakfast In America for two years and it was worth every hunt
Sweet: I will never understand my two-month obsession with Ballroom Blitz when I was 15, but it was legit all I listened to
Talking Heads: you may find yourself in a pizza hut. And you may find yourself in a taco bell. And you may find yourself at the combination pizza hut and taco bell. And you may ask yourself; ‘how did I get here?’
Temple Of The Dog: I keep confusing them for Nazareth
Ten Years After: somehow still relevant
Tesla: not the car or the dude
The Beatles: Evokes a lot of opinions from people. Mine is that I love them
The Clash: I showed my sister the ‘Lock The Taskbar’ vine ONCE and it still kills her
The Doors: evokes teenage terror from deep within my soul
The Guess Who: Canada’s answer to confusing question-themed band names
The Kinks: kinky
The Police: wrote the theme of 2020 and everyone somehow forgot it was about a teacher resisting becoming a pedophile
The Ramones: playing all of their songs in a row wouldn’t take more than 2 hours
The Romantics: you don’t think you know them, but if you’ve seen Shrek 2, you have
The Who: If someone can explain Tommy to me, I’d be glad to hear it
The Zombies: I think they happened because of the 60s
Thin Lizzy: Could the boys maybe leave town?
Thorogood, George: blues, but make it modern
Toto: the most memed song behind All Star
Townshend, Pete: just makes me think of the end of Mr. Deeds
T-Rex: Mark Bolan is an icon
Triumph: The no-name brand of Rush
Tubes: like the yogurt
Twisted Sister: they did a christmas album and my mom does NOT hate it
U2: U2 Movers; we move in mysterious ways
Van Halen: RIP Eddie
Van Morrison: honestly, who’s named Van?
Vaughn, Stevie Ray: Steamy Ray Vaughn
Walsh, Joe: The Smoker You Drink The Player You Get
War: Foghat, but even groovier
Whitesnake: the most successful band to be named after a penis
Wright, Gary: the 90s thanks him for writing the song every movie used for the “guy sees cute girl and it’s love at first sight” scene
Yes: To Be Continued
Young, Neil: The best part of CSNY
Zevon, Warren: the album cover of Excitable Boy makes me deeply uncomfortable for reasons I don’t understand
ZZ Top: has been the same three guys since 1969. Lineup unchanged.
3 Doors Down: They feel a little modern to be on a classic rock station, but whatever
38 Special: Why 38?

Music Mixes
Lumberjanes “Arts and Crafts” Program Field
Treble Maker Badge
“Some Risks are worth the Reward”
Music fuels the mind and thus fuels creativity. A creative mind has the ability to make discoveries and create innovations. The greatest minds and thinkers like Hildegard von Bingen, Barbra Strozzi, and Florence Mary Taylor all had something in common in that they were constantly exploring their imagination and creativity. As a Lumberjane it will be vital that we not only enrich our minds, but enrich those around us. Music is just one of the many mediums that can create an empowering environment, it is one of the few mediums that can be enjoyed at any time.
Finch’s Notes:

Finch’s Notes Cont:
Hi! I made this post to avoid work. But mostly I made this post because Lumberjanes is something really important to me, and these playlist are a part of my enjoyment of Lumberjanes I don’t see people talking about a lot! So I decided to make a post in order to share them with y’all. I remember hunching over my phone making a spotify playlist (here, though it’s missing a few songs that aren’t on spotify) while on a trip to California in the summer of 2018 when I first got into Lumberjanes. I probably listened to these songs while I made my first ever Lumberjanes fanart. These mixes helped me to discover artist I really love, like Janelle Monae and Mal Blum. I hope you enjoy them as well!
Other notes: Sk8r Boi is crossed out as that is the way it appears on Mal’s playlist. Also, I tend to shy away from music videos as a personal preference, so that’s why there are so few included on this playlist, though I’m sure many of these songs have beautiful music videos. I might reblog this post in the future with some youtube playlists of these mixes, but if you want to find them yourself there are a lot of playlists of these songs made on youtube already! Or you can make your own playlists using this post.
And, just for fun, have one final Lumberjanes themed music recommendation:

My thing | John Bender x reader
A/N: I’m currently working on some new stories, but requests are still open. Hope you enjoy this one! Stay safe! Love, Ally xx
requested by @soggy-enchilada
Some days were worse than others. Today was apparently one of those.
You wondered how it would feel to wake up in the morning and not instantly wince at the thought of picking out what to wear, praying that maybe it wouldn’t be one of those days when you couldn’t help but avoid all reflective surfaces or calculate how little you should eat for every meal.
You thought you would eventually grow out of your insecurities like you grew out of your old clothes, but part of you was still agonizing over the utter genetic injustice that had made you nothing like the women you saw on magazine covers, or the impossibly popular girls with perfect skinny waists you passed in the halls every day.
Your boyfriend didn’t seem to notice it, but to be fair, you never talked about it around him either. You were afraid that admitting how self-conscious you felt about your body would somehow open his eyes and make him question what in the world he saw in you, to which you yourself didn’t have an answer.
Your insecurities would bug you under the most inconvenient circumstances, spoiling otherwise pleasant moments. And so finding yourself in your boyfriend’s embrace, lying on his bed on a rainy Friday afternoon, all of a sudden didn’t feel good anymore.
Bender was silent, arms wrapped around your waist, fingers drumming softly against your hips. He was humming along with the music coming from the radio. You remembered how surprised you had been to find out how touchy-feely he could get compared to his cold, sarcastic exterior. Sudden bursts of tenderness and devotion he showed when you two were alone never ceased to sweep you off your feet.
He didn’t like to have you over, mostly because of how ugly his folks’ fighting sometimes got and how disrespectful his father had been the first time you met him, but that day the house was miraculously silent.
“You don’t have to worry. They’re all out for once. It’ll be just you and me”, he’d said earlier that day as he planted a playful kiss on your earlobe, pushing you against the lockers.
Now your eyes wandered over the walls. Just your typical teenage boy’s bedroom, you told yourself. Posters in all sizes covered every inch of old, mouldy paint. Some rock ‘n’ roll bands, a Billy Idol here, Axl Rose there and apparently a life-size Joan Jett on the door. But what really made you feel like shit was a bunch of hot, skinny, half-naked women on magazine cut-outs. They stood proudly among the other pictures with their pointy chest thrust out as they gripped the motorcycle handles or leaned over shiny red cars. You could tell that their thighs never rubbed against one another, nor did their bellies ever form rolls when they bent over. Their skin glistened, framed by beautiful long hair which fell over their shoulders in cascading waves. You just knew you couldn’t compete.
God, why can’t I be even remotely as pretty as them?
Bender couldn’t see your face with his head resting in the crook of your neck, but somehow he felt you tense up. You prayed he wouldn’t ask, because you couldn’t bear to tell him the truth.
“What is it with you today, huh?”
You knew he didn’t want to be mean. You tried to hide your face, but he reached and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. You felt a knot tie in your throat when his fingertips brushed against your collarbone.
“Hey, don’t think I didn’t notice it. You’ve been silent the whole day. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wro—”, you choked out, trying to keep your voice steady. Your futile attempt made Bender snap up and look closely at your tear-streaked face. He started stroking your cheek, but you didn’t want to be touched.
“Don’t... Just— Please, John...”
You couldn’t look him in the eye. For a moment you felt so worthless that even the warmth of his skin felt like something you didn’t deserve.
“Hey...”, he reached for your hand the moment you untangled from his embrace, “Talk to me, [Y/N], will you?”
“Don’t you ever wish I were... different?”
His brows furrowed in confusion as he gazed at your hunched, shaking frame.
“The fuck are you talking about?”, he demanded.
“Don’t you wish that I were prettier? Skinnier? I don’t know, like... Claire Standish, or one of those pin-up girls—”
“What gave you such an idea?”, he sounded harsh as he lifted your chin to inspect your puffy eyes. “Did somebody call you names? Who was it?”
“No, it was... nothing”, you shook your head, “Forget it.”
“Then why are you so upset? Was it me?”
“Oh, John, of course not. You’re... You’re so good to me.”
His expectant gaze still lingered over you. You took a quivering breath, afraid of what was inevitably going to come out of your mouth. But you couldn’t hold it in anymore.
“It’s just that... Sometimes, I feel so ugly. Everywhere I look, I see beautiful, tall, slim women... I feel so big, and so heavy, I wish I could be more shapely and better-looking and—”
“And just like everybody else, right?”, he retorted, but quickly lowered his voice, “Hey. Look at me.”
You raised your head to meet his deep, loving stare. He slowly ran his hand over your cheek, wiping away the tears before cupping your whole face in his hands and pressing his lips firmly against yours.
“That’s bullshit”, he said when you pulled away, “I don’t know who put it in your head, but it's bullshit. You don’t actually believe that, do you?”
You nodded, wiping at your face with the back of your hand. His forehead creased.
“I couldn’t tell. You always seem so confident”, he said.
“I don’t know...”, you shrugged, “It’s been piling up, I guess. And looking at all these girls on your walls... I just broke down. I’m sorry.”
He pulled away from you as soon as those words left your mouth.
“Is that what this is all about?”, he jumped up and started walking around the room. “Jesus, if you had told me earlier...”
A strange noise that followed made you finally lift your gaze from the floor. Seeing Bender rip the posters from the walls, crumple and throw them all in the basket one by one, it was your turn to jump.
“John, you don’t have to do that”, you pulled at his sleeve, “It’s your room. You shouldn’t do it for me. It’s your thing, I understand—”
“No, no, no”, he murmured as he repeatedly tore the paper in his hands until the last hot girl was gone. “You don’t understand, and it’s not my thing. You know what is?”
He swiftly scooped you up and pulled you onto his lap, hands gripping at your upper thighs as he kissed your neck, resulting in a fit of giggles erupting from your throat.
“See?”, he said, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of his lips, “That’s my thing. Not some empty-headed prom queen. Or a bunch of Playboy dolls. Do you even have an idea how gorgeous you are?”
You wrapped your arms around his torso, too flustered to answer. When you leaned against his toned chest to kiss him on the jaw, you heard him klick his tongue.
“God, I love when you do that”, he chuckled.
“I love you, Johnny.”
“I know.”
“Aren’t you gonna say it back?”, you laughed as he proceeded to plant kisses all over your face. It took him a while to make sure he didn’t miss any spot before answering.
“I adore you, stupid.”

What Kind of Music Slashers Would Vibe to Headcanons♪
This little thing popped into my head. Fyi, the canon timelines are thrown out the window for this so... Yeah.
Bring forth the bop~
RZ Michael Myers
"Let my weapons be your children, let my armies be your damned. Try to suffer on in silence, try to stop me if you can." --- This Cold Black by Slipknot
I think he'd really enjoy metal in general. I can totally see him unknowingly stomping to some Marilyn Manson and Meshuggah, though the lyrics and message probably will just fly over his head.
He listens to some heavy shit, but probably all the more mainstream bands/artists.
The loudness and organized chaos of the genre fills the void in his soul and reflects the state of his mind, despite his stoic and non-verbal outer demeanor.
Someone please do everyone a favor and introduce Michael to some death metal. Admit it, it really fits his aesthetic.
This is just based on speculation, but I suspect a 70% possibility of RZ Michael resonating with Cannibal Corpse. Fight me.
He hates classical music with a burning passion. Back in Smith's Grove, they played Bach's Air Sul G on tap. (its canon in the first movie lmao) He hates it. Mikey no likey.
Freddy Krueger
"No stop signs, speed limit, nobody's gonna slow me down. Like a wheel, gonna spin it, nobody's gonna mess me around." --- Highway to Hell, by AC/DC
Freddy listens to classic rock, period.
This guy is ngl a supporter of music taste discrimination. You listen to pop? Disgusting. You listen to Jazz? Disgusting. Classic rock is the epitome of all music.
He'll call you music-related slurs you never knew existed.
As stubborn adamant as Freddy is, he does harbor some guilty pleasures, including 70's hair metal and glam rock. Pshh. What a heckin hypocrite.
Some of his all time favorites are Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and AC/DC.
(Basic bitch)
*Hip thrust movements to go with his 'The Sprinkler' dance moves, Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N' Roses blasting in the background*
OG Michael Myers
He doesn't listen to music, but if he did, he would probably enjoy Jazz.
Michael only listens to Miles Davis because he enjoys his music and can't be bothered to discover more artists.
Oml Michael I know Miles Davis is amazing but don't neglect other iconic artists plzzz. Someone please make him listen to some Teddy Wilson and/or Dave Brubeck.
I imagine him sitting stiff-straight on a rocking chair (he just likes how it moves), knife in his lap, rocking and zoning-out relaxing to 'Blue in Green'. (I love that piece)
#AfterHeFinallyKillsLaurie
#RetirementGoals
He also hates classical music because of the same reason as RZ Myers. Seriously, if either of them so much as hears the opening chord of Air Sul G, expect the speaker to be stomped to a pulp in a split second.
Bubba Sawyer
Alright let's all be honest with ourselves... 70's pop and country is Bubba's shit.
Look me in the face and tell me he wouldn't adore ABBA, The Jackson 5, and Dolly Parton. Thats right you can't
Everytime 'Dancing Queen' starts playing on the radio, Bubba will drop everything and start busting down.
Ain't nothing and nobody stoppin him. Drayton is powerless against the supreme sovereignty that is ABBA.
But let's also appreciate the fact that our Bubster can motherfuckin get down. *wipes sweat from forehead + heart eyes*
He would also do passionate lip sync with his heart and soul, to Dolly Parton's 'I Will Always Love You'.
50% chance of him starting to cry right after he finishes his earnest performance.
*Holding Bubba in your arms, rubbing comforting circles on his back as he bawls hysterically, incoherently babbling on about how much he loves you*
I also feel for some reason he'd really like Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
Thomas Hewitt
"For one moment, I wish you'd hold your stage, with no feelings at all. Open minded, I'm sure I used to be so free." --- Citizen Erased by Muse
Y'know what I have a hard time imagining the type of music Tommy listens to. Kutos, Mr. Hewitt, you have defeated me.
siKE
(This is where I yeet the timeline out of the window y'all)
Thomas enjoys Muse, Evanescence, and Radiohead. (Fight me)
He just loves how emotional their songs are. He'd have one earbud in as he works away at his projects for hours. The music helps him concentrate, it is also a source of emotional support to him.
Hearing the heart-wretching lyrical content of 'Lost in Paradise' performed so beautifully by Amy Lee's angellic voice is really comforting to him. It's like hearing about another person's experiences. It makes him feel less alone in dealing with his emotional and mental turmoils and burdens.
The first time Thomas heard 'Creep' by Radiohead, he almost cried.
He also listens to My Chemical Romance sometimes. He only knows the Black Parade album, but he loves it. If 'Creep' didn't make him cry, listening to that entire album from top to bottom sure did. He started sobbing half-way through 'Famous Last Words'.
Tommy is emotional boi 🥺
Brahms Heelshire
C l a s s i c a l
No matter how stinky Brahms is, you can't tell me that he's not classy.
Schubert is his bitch. Schubert's style tends to be quite majestic and/or dreamy, (generally) and can change color/sound very abruptly yet appropriately. (This is just my opinion based on experience with Schubert's pieces, but then I only know his piano pieces soo) (let's still cue that maestoso to scherzando transition)
But of course, Schubert isn't the only thing he listens to. He prefers the romantic period, so Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Shostakovich, Brahms, Schumann, you get the gist, all the staples. Oh yeah Elgar too. To be a proud English lad.
*Brahms swaying in the living room with the grace of a baby giraffe, engrossed in the beautiful melodies in Schumann's Kinderszenen.*
(Oml please check out 'Von fremden Landern und Manschen' and 'Kind im Einschlummern') (For those who play piano, they aren't that difficult too totally recommend) (Ok sorry I'm done now)
Brahms would totally waltz around alone to Chopin's waltzes and nocturnes.
Oh yeah apart from that classy shit, he likes to jam to meme songs.
"Hey now, you're an all star, get your game on, go play---"
*cut to Brahms passionately fortnite dancing*
Listens to The Strange Man Who Sings About Dead Animals for a good laugh. (Please, all of his songs are gold)
Vincent Sinclair
He'll have 'emo' and 'classical' with a side of metal, thanks.
I headcanon that Vinny McWaxy is an INFJ, so the boy is likely prone to crippling existentialism. It would make sense for some aspects of his music taste to reflect that.
*cut to Vincent sitting rock-still on his workbench/stool, hands hover in mid-air, staring straight ahead, some John Cage piece playing*
You'll never hear this from Vincent but he enjoys sexy-time music. He has this whole erotic playlist he listens to while working. (Boy likes to feel sexy on the job, I respect that.)
I think its pretty much canon that Vinny loves MCR. (Hello fellow emo piece of shit 👋) His favorites are everything by them really. A hardcore fan. He used to have MCR, P!ATD, and 30 Seconds to Mars posters plastered everywhere in his workshop until he had to remove them all to add to the intimidation factor of his waxy hell for passer-bys. For the record, he is very gay for Frank Iero.
On the metal part of his spectrum is mostly classic metal, groove metal, and thrash/heavy metal.
Rammstein, Pantera, Vildhjarta, new and old Metallica, Dream Theatre, Coheed and Cambria. His bitches.
He also uses music to scare victims when bringing them down to his workshop. *cue horror movie soundtracks*
*KI KI KI MA MA MA*
Is a whore for the dramatics when in a good mood.
*Lacrimosa by Mozart plays as he makes a point to bring the wax painfully slowly down toward a drowsy and petrified victim*
A lament for your upcoming death, pitiful human.
Bo Sinclair
"The day has come for all us sinners, if you're not a servant you'll be struck to the ground." -- Beast and The Harlot by Avenged Sevenfold
Bastard boy is into dad-music™. (same)
Dad rock, classic rock, pop punk, punk rock, old school pop, his shit.
He listens to a lot of the same bands as Freddy, but Bo (generally) doesn't discriminate and explores a more diverse variety of music.
Its a fandom canon that Bo loves Avenged Sevenfold. I totally agree.
A7x is the perfect amount of cynical, political, and shred for Beauregard, (I hc that ge hates his full name so plz don't ever call him Beauregard)
He listens to the radio whenever he's at work. Whatever that might be.
Will NEVER admit it, but he thinks Vinny's music taste is dope as hell.
He'll turn off the radio just to strain his ears to listen to Vincent's music downstairs. No one will ever know that though. You don't.
Actually likes classical music too. Its not one of his main genres but there's one piece he really likes, Second Movement of Shostakovich Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Major.
He never thought he'd enjoy this type of music. Its so.... Calm. He discovered that piece from Vinny's playlist. When he first heard it on his brother's speaker, he fell in love. It was one of the extremely rare cases in which he'd be committed enough to ask Vinny the name of the music.
Tiny shuffle for man-kind, huge fuckin step for Bo. Good job Bo, we're proud of you.
Also pleeeeeaaase message me or request stuff, I'm bored and have little inspiration 🦊
I might do a pt2 of this, since I didn't write many of the boys and gals🤷♀️
Also sorry if I've neglected some genres/artists (Like i've neglected non-piano classical pieces.... Bc ya girl is just a pianist), a person can't know everything😗
