Magische Linten (Magic Ribbons)
Contains: Dutch expressions (as a fandom, we forgot too fast that Kerch is a fantasy Dutch and that Kaz used dutch words in the books, like "ja". We should remember it). I used the translator for this, so if there are any mistakes, please let me know. Mentions of the Wandering Isle's culture about Grisha, which includes blood and questionable medical practices. Use some ocs. Saskia is a real character in the books, if you read them, you know who she is. I simply created an oc based on her.
(This follows the plot of the first book, Six of Crows, and not the show Shadow and Bone, althought it will contain references to it because I loved it too)
"There's no way"
"Seriously, I'm not lying"
"It cannot be true"
"Yes, it is. I can vanish anything in my hands and make it appear again somewhere else"
"¿Are you a Grisha?"
"Natuurlijk niet!* It's only a magic trick. I learnt it by watching one of those men with colorful clothes in the street. I think it's called 'illusionism' or something like that"
Saskia frowned. She knew what men he was referring to, but she never heard that word before. It sounded suspicious in her ears.
"¿Aren't what Grisha do basically magic tricks too?"
"Well, technically yes, but it's not the same. Anyone can do this if they learn and practice enough, but not everyone can do what a Grisha can, no matter how much they learn"
"I'm not sure. That trick you said sounded very Grisha-like to me"
"Fine! If you don't believe me, let me show you. I swear it has nothing to do with Grisha."
Saskia didn't quite buy it. It wasn't like she was worried that the boy would hurt her, but what he said sounded very weird. Where she came from, it was said that Grisha were dangerous and the only good thing they had was their blood, which could cure sickness. She remembered briefly when a doctor took some blood out of her when she had fever, and she cried the whole process. She couldn't understand how Grisha were capable of going through that so often, and voluntarily at that. They weren't normal.
But if he said he wasn't a Grisha, Saskia chose to believe him. Her "father" told her these boys were innocent, simple-minded. Her new friend had no reason to lie.
"Oké*, but make it fast. And if you hurt me, I'll hit you"
"I barely have to touch you, I just need something small. A pencil, or a button"
While they looked around them, Saskia brushed some strands from her eyes. She hated how her "mother" styled her hair, with ridiculous ties and curls. That's when she felt one of the ribbons she wore, and had an idea.
"Here", she took one of them off and gave it to him, "Use this"
He blinked at her, surprised.
"¿Are you sure? I don't-"
"You say you can make it appear again, ja? Besides, I have many more like this, so I don't mind if you lose this one"
He stared down at the red ribbon in his hand, his cheeks blushing in a expression akin to flusterment. Like he was holding 100 kruge in his palm instead of a simple piece of silk. When his eyes met Saskia's again, there was no sign of that expression. She was silently impressed with his quick facial control.
"Oké, now let us start!"
He smiled with confidence, and Saskia couldn't help but smile in return at his enthusiasm.
The boy proceeded to turn the ribbon around in his hands, twisting it with before her eyes, until suddenly...it dissapeared. Just like that, she was seeing it clearly one moment and the next she didn't anymore. No noise or twitch that signaled where it went. Saskia's mouth was wide open.
"What the-how did you do that?! You had it in your hand, I was seeing it! How is this possible? It just...vanished"
Instead of answering, the boy chuckled at her. He extended his hands towards her wrist, slowly, and stopped right where his fingers brushed her pulse point. He became still for a moment, worrying Saskia a bit with his lack of movement. Then, with a graceful twist of his hand, he started to move his hand away, and Saskia felt something soft sliding down her wrist.
It was the red ribbon.
She couldn't hide her fascination.
"Dat is geweldig!* How did you do it? I didn't feel it getting under my sleeve, nor I noticed it was there. How can it be?", she narrowed her eyes in suspicion at him, "¿Are you sure you're not a Grisha?"
When her eyes focused on him, she saw something weird. His cheeks were blushing, which didn't make sense because it wasn't that cold in the room. They had been mostly near the functioning chimney since they arrived. ¿Was he getting sick?
"Hey, ¿are you alright? Your face is getting red"
"Ah, uhm, I...it's nothing. I was just nervous that...it didn't work out. Yup, that's it", the boy shook his head, like he just broke out of a trance, and scratched his neck as he turned his eyes away. "And ja, I'm sure I'm not a Grisha. Like I said, anyone can do this"
"Oh, oké then", she had the feeling there was something else, but she got distracted quickly. "Well, I can't do it, and I'm very smart"
He chuckled softly.
"It has nothing to do if you're smart or not. You can't do it because you never practiced. If you tried, I bet you'll do it better than me", his cheeks reddened again, and Saskia thought he looked very cute like that, "You're the most talented person I know. You'll be probably good at everything."
"Well, I wouldn't say that either," now it was her turn to blush, "I read a lot of books, and my brot-my parents teach me many things, so that's why I know some stuff."
There was a pause between them, a comfortable silence that felt unusual in them. Whenever they were together, they talked nonstop and they didn't know how to stay still. Which was good for Saskia, because she couldn't stand silences. They made her nervous and uneasy, and she couldn't afford that. Not with him.
"Can I tell you something, Saskia?"
His voice sounded low out of sudden, and his eyes were fixed on her.
"Natuurlijk*, why do you ask?"
"It's just...I really like being with you and I don't want to bother you."
"I don't think you can do anything to bother me, dummy. Go on, what is it?"
He looked at her straight in her eyes, smiling shyly, but with a firm determination sparkling in his orbs.
"You're beau-"
The door was slammed open, showing Saskia's "father" and another boy with him.
"Here you are, ducklings", the man's deep voice captured the children's attention, "I'm sorry, boy, we lost track of time. Saskia, say goodbye to your friend, they're leaving."
"But pappa*, we still haven't-" she stopped herself when the man gave her a significant look. She bit her lip and nodded. "Oké"
They stood up, with Saskia brushing off her skirt and the boy fixing up his jacket. They walked side by side towards the exit, with Saskia's father and the older boy in front of them.
Just when the brothers were about to leave, her friend turned back to her abruptly.
"Wait! Saskia, take your ribbon. I forgot I had it", he extended his hand towards her, with the red silk still in his fingers, but the girl shook her head.
"Don't bother, you can keep it", she pushed his hand back gently. "It's a gift."
He stared at her perplexed.
"What are you saying? Are you sure?"
"Ja. Consider it a thanks for showing me that amazing trick. I loved it", she showed him a genuine smile, and he looked away again. "And if your hairs grows, you can use it to tie it back."
He scoffed playfully, glancing back at her with another smile.
"Yeah, sure, keep dreaming. No way I'm wearing that", his face softened. "See you tomorrow, I guess."
Something warm twisted in Saskia's chest. She pushed it back where it came from.
"Ja, see you tomorrow. And I hope you bring some new tricks. Now I want to see more of them."
He chuckled. Saskia was starting to find the sound very pleasant. She thought she wouldn't mind hearing it more often, and a sense of dread assaulted her. She shouldn't be having these thoughts.
"Ik beloof het*"
And after that exchange, they bid their goodbyes, both still smiling as the distance between them grew. She felt the firm hand of her "vader*" squeezing her shoulder almost painfully. A silent reminder.
A warning.
"Didn't you hear? The Black Tips are dust now. That idioot Geels emptied the vaults to get on the Dregs' bad side, and the Brekker demon sent them all packing with their tails between the legs."
"Ja, they even came up with a song for it. 'The Durstraat is on fire and the Dregs don't have no water'. I heard it when I passed by their nest."
"Cocky klootzakken*. But I guess we can thank them for riding us from those rats. One less headache to deal with."
Those were the first sentences that Diantha heard as soon as she set a foot in the Emerald Palace. She twirled her way through the gaming tables towards the bar, expertly avoiding the waving hands and listening their talks about the latest news. The fall from grace of the Black Tips.
It didn't catch her by surprise at all. She already heard what happened on her way to the Palace, and haven't she been busy with her last minute assignment at First Harbor, she would've likely gone to witness the whole mess in front row from one of the rooftops. However, she didn't feel dissapointed for having missed it, considering the interesting events that transcurred in First Harbor and that she got to see by herself.
In the bar counter, she found Jesse rearranging some bottles and greeting her with a nod.
"Welcome back, Krett. I take it that it was a successful inspection."
"What makes you think that?"
"Your clothes are still intact and you don't have an ounce of dirt on your face, so I assume there were no fights or accidents. Plus, you have that spark in your eyes from when you got your hands on something valuable and can't wait to show it."
She grinned. She didn't expect less from the Emerald Palace's head bartender. After so many years working behind the counter, Jesse learnt to be particularly observant with people, which allowed him to charm them into a false sense of trust as he filled their cups and pried secrets from their loose mouths. Also, he had known Diantha since she was a kid, freshly initiated into the Dime Lions after her brother, so it wasn't surprising he could read her so easily.
"Well, the boss may feel conflicted with the news, but I think it'll distract him enough from the last fiasco."
"I hope so. I'm afraid he's going to be in a sour mood for the following hours, and it'll be nice to keep his attention away from us."
"Is he really that pissed about the Black Tips?"
"I guess it has more to do with the Brekker boy twerfing his plans once again rather than loosing those oafs."
Diantha felt her body tense, just like everytime someone mentioned him.
Kaz Brekker, the Dregs' lieutenant, and Pekka Rollins' biggest headache. His long story of crimes and blood stained hands, all in the name of profit, gave him the nickname Dirtyhands. Because there was no line he wasn't willing to cross to get what he wanted. People whispered his name in fear and cowered at the sound of his lethal cane tapping the ground as he walked. Not even the Dime Lions were immune to his terrifying presence, but they knew better than to show it when Rollins was near.
She would never admit it, but Diantha was also a bit intimidated by him. Their paths had crossed only a handful times, but when they did, it always ended with painful reminders carved in each other's skins. Some of them permanent and impossible to conceal, just as the one she carried on her left hand, or the one that made him rely on his cane to move. But that wasn't what made her feel so wary of him, no.
It was his eyes. There was just something in them when he looked at her that made her very...uneasy. Like he was about to lunge at her at any moment, but she couldn't figure out when. It unnerved her, not being able to predict his movements. He looked at her like that even since before the "incident", so she assumed it was due to her being a Dime Lion. They were enemies after all, and he was clearly set on ruining Rollins' empire, so it made sense he despised her. The "incident" just gave him another reason to do so.
She shook her head to expel any thoughts about him. It wasn't the time to divagate about whether the Bastard of the Barrel had personal reasons to hate her or not. Plus, trying to figure out the mind of someone like him would only drain her own sanity in the process.
Right now, she had crucial information to report to her already angry boss, and Saints knew how he could get if she made him wait.
Kaz Brekker had no power over her, but Pekka Rollins very much did and would gladly use it. And that was enough to push Dirtyhands out of her head at once.
"Really? You think it's wise leaving it like that, with the Black Tips still fuming and crawling around?"
"It's the right course of action. By the way, go call Jesper and Muzzen. I want them here at sunrise. And have Wylan wait for me at the Crow Club tomorrow night."
"Wylan? If you say the job is so important..."
"Just do it."
Inej crossed her arms, glaring at him with the same sharpness as her precious knives. He was sure she was considering murdering him right there.
"Are you going to give me any details, Kaz?"
"Once we're all reunited", he put on a clean shirt and buttoned it up as he walked to his dresser. "This isn't an order, Inej. It's another job, which you're free to accept or deny."
He finished with the buttons, throwing on next a grey vest with little pockets sewn discreetly underneath, perfect to keep tools he didn't want others to find out. Just when Inej opened her mouth, probably to ask something again, someone knocked at the door.
"Kom binnen*" he answered, barely looking at who entered.
It was Rotty, with a solemn expression that clashed vastly from his previous cheeriness.
"Hallo*, sir. We just received news from the Shu's cargment of gold that arrived this morning", he spoke in a rush. "The Merchant Council plan on keeping the ship docked at the port, under the stadswacht's surveillance, until further notice."
"Well, it was to be expected. That stunt Shu Han pulled made their plans a bit more complicated for the future. They'll refrain from touching the gold until they're completely sure of it", he hummed. "But why are you telling me this? That cargment of Shu gold isn't a priority now."
"Sir", Rotty stuttered, avoiding Kaz's dark eyes. "Pekka Rollins knows"
The temperature in the room went down drastically. Kaz freezed in the spot, under Inej's attentive gaze.
"And...?"
He had a feeling of where this was going. Rotty never stuttered before when he mentioned Rollins to him, unless...
"He sent one of the Krett siblings to cover First Harbor, sir."
There it was.
He felt that familiar fire at his stomach, like everytime he heard that name. He could feel the burning climb up his throat, setting his insides on an inferno.
He let out a raspy, humourless chuckle. He should have expected it. Pekka Rollins wouldn't have turn away from such a delicious, tempting treasure, not when he was still trying to plant his roots inside the Merchant Council's core. And of course, he would have sent his favourite puppet to follow the whole operation.
He knew one of the Kretts was out of the Barrel at the moment, so that only left one for the job. Her.
"Thank you for telling me, Rotty. This definitely supposes a change in our plans", he pulled out a new set of gloves and fastened the buttons around his wrists, rather hastly. "We should reconsider First Harbor's importance for us. You can leave now."
Rotty nodded and left the room almost running. Inej eyed him warily. She knew too what that information meant to him. What the infamous lioness caused.
"What do you have in mind now, Kaz?"
He didn't answer inmediately. His gloved fingers went inside the drawer again, brushing against a worn out piece of red silk he kept hidden in there, only for his eyes to see. A trinklet from a painful dream, a reminder of what his goals were.
He closed it again with a loud thump, before walking out of the room without a single word, leaving the ribbon hidden underneath the documents once again.
(One day, she'll be hidden too, where only he could see her and grasp her)
A/N: Inspired by my discussions with @stayconnecteed about her awesome aus for six of crows and my own silly headcanons. She also happens to be the one who came up with that beautiful cover, so all credit to her. And @mrsmiroir, because we both wanted to see more of Saskia so my mind created this.

What would you consider the best, most reliable, low maintenance car? Bonus points for affordability. After having to take my 2011 Corsa to the garage for the fourth time this year due to a faulty temp sensor (this car just runs on a constant fever I swear. I'm in the UK for goodness sakes it shouldn't get that hot!!!), I'm curious as to whether there are any cars that don't have expiry dates outside of carefully maintained classics.
Well someone's not read my shooting brake post that thoroughly eh! :P
Jokes aside, I've touched on reliability a couple of times so those could be interesting reads for you, but I can tell you that, you'll hear it a lot, Toyota Land Cruisers are usually what you see when a dozen people need to cross a desert and camels aren't an option. And I cannot talk about the durability of old Toyotas without bringing up a piece of television that has been burned into my mind from when I was six or seven to this day and has never faded or faltered in clarity for a single of the seconds between them. Like, genuinely, you go pay me a visit eight years since I last saw it to hit me with a trick question about shot composition details and as you open the door shouting it you walk in on me losing my virginity and I shoo you away yelling "Piss off with your trick questions, I'm getting laid here".
youtube

But in terms of advice that is more actionable for you, I would as noted in other posts advise Toyotas and Hondas, and by extension Toyota's luxury brand Lexus (but please don't consider this advice against anything else, especially because these brands, Toyota and Lexus especially, have in some contexts developed a bit of a premium due to their reputation). And I know what you're thinking: "Mate I've a Corsa ya think I could get me a Lexus?" And the answer is yes. And other positively splendid pieces of kit.
I mean, you can find yourself plenty of first generation Lexus LSs in various states of rattiness, and one of those most famously did literally a million miles so I'm pretty sure you're going to be good on that front.
...but if you're not in the extremely lucky position of ULEZ compliance not being a dealbreaker, while looking for those, I also found some second generations...
...and I saw an ad for a third generation, and you know when you see an item and a price and you go through the description just to find out what the deal is and as you comb through you slowly realize that the part where they explain how this is not actually a functioning, usable product isn't there you start whispering "what the fuck? what the fuck?" and you put your hands in your hair and- yeah this is that level. Like genuinely I do not CARE if you were not asking purchasing advice and are not interested in changing your car you go phone your insurance for a quote and if it is anything below "This insurance price will actually ruin my life" you go click on that "Buy it now" button before someone else does.
But of course you may want a smaller car, what with coming from a Corsa and all that. Well, if that's the case, there's a little beauty that you're going to love love, and needs no TLC you and my help can't tackle. Remember my kei sportscars post? Well guess what it just so happens to turn out:
(if you are actually interested in getting a new car but have requirements these don't fulfill don't hesitate to drop me a line, there is little I love more than window shopping car ads and I have plenty other great ideas. If you want a new car you are going to end up with something cool whether you like it or not.)
Links in blue are posts of mine explaining the words in question - if you liked this post, you might like those!

A Touch of the Flu
Triggers: Death
Ikevamp
Mozart x MC
Rated: T+
Prompt: Influenza
She hadn’t been feeling well in recent times. It started with a headache, a touch of a sore throat, and minor fatigue. It wasn’t uncommon, she went from a life of travel to be a maid, so there were still some growing pains, she supposed. That along with the stress of everything that happened in her first month and the growing cold.
They’d gotten stuck out in the rain after one of his events.
“Come along, meine liebe.” Mozart’s voice was calm. He knew she did not care for the storms in this era. The lightning strikes terrified his little lamb.
The rain was pouring, heavy and hard, like the night he’d realized he loved her. The night he nearly bit her.
“O-okay.” Her fingers slipped into his grip, his skin warm compared to the cold biting air that came with the needles of icy rain. He’d pulled his coat up over her head, but it truly offered no real protection from the cold.
The duo ran for some shelter from the cold, finding an inn. Violet colored eyes narrowing in frustration at the sight of so many people, wet and cold from the rain. At the first sight of her shivering Mozart spoke, “I have you, meine liebe.” His voice was low as he drew her closer to him, stroking up and down her arms and back in an attempt to warm her up. The spring had turned icy rather quickly, he would not be surprised if they got snow soon.
“Monsieur, you can bring her by the fire until we can get you checked in.” An older woman called, seeing the couple. She stepped from behind the counter, leaving a lanky boy to handle checking in so she could coax the drenched woman towards the fire. With so many people soaked to the bone, it was the best she could do.
“M-merci.” Her voice was soft, and the woman’s features warmed at the girl’s polite nature, patting the younger woman’s shoulder before she hurried back to her son to help to check-in people.
She’d still caught a cold from that night and Mozart spent the rest of his time tending to her, trying to help her feel better.
“Remember to take it easy,” Sebastian spoke as he noticed her movements still sluggish. “I’m only letting you work because you said you were well enough to.” He chided her lightly. The high fever that had plagued her calmed down after several days.
Her sore throat affected her the most in the mornings and usually after a cup of hot tea it went away. The persistent cough and fatigue annoyed her, but it had been a bit of an excuse for her not to go shopping in the town, and an excuse for Mozart to not take any performances for a while.
“I’m fine, Wolf.” She sighed a bit, however, a smile graced her features as he placed a cool hand on her cheek. The frown on his face and his knitted brows showed his worry for her. She knew he was getting more offers, and some of them were insistent.
“Hartnäckige Mädchen.” He scolded, “Stubborn, stubborn girl. You still feel warm.” Her lips curled into a loving smile as he fussed. He was always such a mother hen when it came to her. When they returned from the theater he had fussed over her as well. “You’re still coughing too.”
“My coughs usually linger after a cold. I’m okay.” She placed her hand over his. “Sebastian is making sure I only have a light load for work, and he’s even making sure to bring me tea just in case.”
He sighed and gathered her in his arms, hugging her close. “If you get worse, you need to tell me.” Comte had a doctor visit already. Some medicine was given and she’d actively taken it despite her finding it disgusting.
Something churned in the pit of his stomach and told him something was wrong. “Alright, lamb.” His lips pressed to the crown of her head, trying to ignore that feeling.
---
Breathing was difficult, recently. When she breathed in too deeply, it caused pain in her chest and sometimes her back, and it worried her. She’d contacted the doctor, and she didn’t want to worry anyone more than she should, so she kept it between herself, Sebastian, and Comte during one of the days Mozart was out.
She wasn’t going to hide it, she just didn’t want to worry him more. The doctor said it was sometimes normal. Just keep taking her medicine, she’d be fine. If her fever spiked back up, then she’d need to go to the hospital.
When Mozart returned from his trip to see the lord that had been trying to hire him again, Comte’s friend, he’d been frustrated she’d done all of that without him.
“Liebe, you need to tell me these things.” He stressed the words. “I wouldn’t have gone if I knew.” Sebastian had been firm, sending her to bed and making her some more tea. Fingers ran through her hair.
She was tucked against his chest, half curled into him. Exhaustion set on her features. “I didn’t want to worry you more than you already have been. I hate seeing you so worried, Wolf.” Her fingers were cold to the touch and it only worried him more as he drew the blanket up around her.
“Let me worry about you. That is my job.” His lips pressed to her forehead. “Try to rest. Take a nap and I’ll pack you a bag, I’m taking you to that hospital.” He hated that place with a passion, but he knew she needed to go. A short nap and she’d go.
“I love you, Wolf.” Eyes still so bright and beautiful despite their exhaustion just melted his soul.
“And I love you, little Lamb.” He weakly teased, trying to lighten the mood a bit. “Sleep.” He demanded.
And she’d dozed off so easily.
---
He’d been gone an hour. Speaking to Sebastian and Comte, a carriage is set up for him to take her to the hospital.
The moment he was in the room, his heart felt like it stopped. It was too quiet. Her breathing was always light, heavier since she got sick, but now even that didn’t fill the air.
“The Carriage is-- Herr Mozart?” Sebastain saw the pianist staring into the bedroom, hand braced on the frame.
“She’s not making a sound.”
“She’s likely just sleeping well. Do you--.”
It was too soon. It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. She was so young, so free. This couldn’t be happening. His chest was hammering, it was taking everything to not panic.
“Sebastian.” Eyes were full of pain, “She’s not making any noise. I cannot hear her breathing.” The one thing about his time as a musician was that he noticed the subtle changes in pitches and tones. He knew the difference between a silent room, and one that wasn’t.
Sebastian had been the one to grab the man as his legs gave out and sobs left him. No longer able to hold himself together.
She was gone. His love, his life was gone before he could save her.
---
The light was too bright, the air felt thick.
“Hello little one.” Fingers cupped a cheek. “You’ve been gone for far too long.” Eyes were hollow and fingers brushed hair back from an angelic face. “You want to go back, don’t you?”
“Go back?” The words were empty for a moment, unfocused. Talking hurt, had her illness gotten so bad during that nap. “I’m… not home?”
The affectionate caress to her cheek made her stomach churn, he was not her Wolf. But as he caressed her cheek, the memories came flooding back.
A coughing fit that woke her. It hurt to try and catch air. It felt like when she swallowed water wrong and weighed so heavily on her chest. She tried to call out to him… To her Wolf… but her voice wouldn’t work.
All she could think of was how hurt he would be if something happened to her. That she didn’t want him to hurt.
"Such terrible things a virus can do to the human body."
"You're the one… that brought Napoleon back… and the other…" Her mind was fuzzy, she remembered the gun, the lies, but his name and face escaped her.
"Yes, yes." His grip seized her chin, forcing her unfocused eyes on him. “Napoleon was… an unfortunate outlier in my plan. You, however, are so important.”
Comté, She needed to find him… had to…
"We just need to seal your contract and your transition is complete and I won't make you do anything. You'll be able to go see your lovely little Wolf." He mocked. He sounded like a child with a new game, a new piece to his game.
This man wanted to one up Comté yet again. "You won't tell anyone my name. No one is allowed to know how you were returned to Life. You won't tell anyone how to find me." His voice was light as she tried to pull her face from his grip.
The smooth accent reminded her of Arthur, deeper however, darker. Something about it scared her.
Thirst made her fingers claw at her throat, suddenly and desperately parched.
"In return. I'll give you your freedom to see your beloved Mozart. You just need to do something for me. When you get back, you must tell Comté that I said 'Checkmate'. Do you agree?"
"Yes… please. I'm…"
He didn't let her finish as a bottle was placed to her lips and tilted up. Desperately she began swallowing, trails of crimson flowing over her chin and the fingers holding her head in place. The wet droplets hitting the floor as the sweet flavors with the bitter aftertaste calmed her sudden thirst.
After the relief of the liquid soothing the thirst came the disgust that this man had so easily… She never wanted to see him again.
When the bottle was empty he set it aside, taking his kerchief to clean her face off. "Door is behind you little mouse. Run before we decide to keep you."
It was at that very moment she realized there were more people in the room than she originally thought.
She was uneasy on her feet, her dress was soft and new. Someone had dressed her… or was this a dress she was buried in?
The door opened, the lights outside were more blinding than inside, however she didn't hesitate in running out the door.
---
France was busy and beautiful and overwhelming. Her mind was in a tizzy and her senses were overstimulated by everything going on. She could smell the scent of food and blood, hear chattering of people and animals.
When she crashed into someone, her arms were held firmly. Not in anger, but when she looked up, blonde hair and soft eyes gazed at her.
"Vincent…?"
Tears pricked at her eyes, he was covered in the smell of his favorite oil paints. The same paints she used to go to get with him.
Arms seized her in a hug, holding her so tightly she worried she'd break, but she realized she didn't care. "You're alive." He breathed out.
"How?" Theo's voice cut her off before she could speak.
She went to open her mouth to reply, but a tightness held it. "It is… part of the contract. I am.."
"Theo. Stop." Vincent spoke to his younger brother. "Let's go. We want you to come home."
Theo was ready to argue, but the look from Vincent silenced him. This was not the time. Not the place.
They'd all missed her, Mozart the most. Finding out how and why would come later.
---
Things had changed. More faces than before.
"It has been five years since you were here." Vincent helped her from the carriage. “Mozart is still here. He’s… changed a bit.” He was quicker to anger, and Vincent wanted her to be somewhat ready. Internally he hoped that she’d sooth that anger.
Leading her up the gardens, violets in full bloom, much like the one she planted when she first arrived.
"Monsieur--" When Sebastian turned around, he went silent before striding across the path to the girl. Fingers cupping her face, "You're...but… a contract?" Shock and awe in his features and the barest hit of tears glistened in his eyes. His friend had returned.
A tiny nod was all it took. "Take her up to him. I'm going to get Comté."
The familiar room was where the Van Gogh brothers left her. When she gently opened the door a voice snapped, harsh and sharp. "I told you I did not want any, Sebastian. Stop your incessant--"
"Wolf…"
Silence filled the air, thick with tension. Every second he didn't reply was another wave of terror and pain weighing on her heart.
She knew what her regret was. She'd remembered it on the carriage ride.
She didn't want to leave him. She regretted not loving him more, not being with him more. That there had not been enough time.
"Meine Liebe…?" When he turned around from the piano bench, he saw her… just as beautiful as the day he lost her.
Feet could not carry him fast enough as he crossed the room. "You're alive?" Hands roamed her sides, her arms, before ending at her face, cupping her cheeks, gazing into her eyes as he couldn't stop tears. His hands were trembling and worn, he’d been using them more than just on his piano.
For five years, he felt shame for not being there when she passed. He should have made her go to the hospital sooner. Made her rest more. If he had not taken her along to that event, she would never have gotten sick. For five years, he blamed himself.
Lips pressed to hers, pain and love shown through the kiss. Passionate and warm and he loved her so much.
"I'm never letting you go again, lamb. I…"
"Shhh…" Her fingers reached up, soft and warm against his cheek. "I'm not leaving you again… never, my Wolf." Her fingers traced his face, seeing how tired he looked. “It wasn’t your fault, Wolfgang.” Her voice was tender, and it made him pull her closer.
"You're here." Comté breathed out as he and Sebastian rushed to the music room.
Her body went stiff, "Yes…" Her voice was soft, weak. "He… had something for me to tell you as part of the contract." She hadn't wanted the contract with the man. "He said… 'Checkmate'." Her eyes were looking to the pure blood vampire, not leaving Mozart's arms.
The look of anger that passed Comté's eyes worried her for only a moment before he went to stroke her hair. "Thank you, ma chérie. Please enjoy being home. Everything… this is your home, and anything I can do to help you, I will. But we'll talk about that more another time. Please, enjoy the rest of your day. I am sure you saw the gardens. It is the perfect time of day to take a walk."
She nodded and glanced up to Mozart. The same angry look Comté had was on his face. "Can we…? For a little while at least? I liked the fresh air."
Lips dropped to her forehead, "Of course.” Mozart may have been angry his beloved was disturbed from her rest, but part of him was so happy she’d been returned to him. The reason why would come later. He was not going to ignore the gift that was her revival.
This came because I saw that antibiotics had not been discovered for roughly 30-ish years after the placement of the IkeVamp settings. This was the fic that came from that and my idle and loose research about things that happened around that time.

Entitled. (II)
- you are in an open relationship with Baekhyun.
//E(I)//E(II)//
You got a call. You didn't know if you should be happy for having a new schedule, somewhat a new distraction, an escape from the repititive heartaches you experience every minute or so, or maybe, you should be upset because you're absolutely exhausted after all the work and stress because of your relationship with Baekhyun.
Oh, an orgasm is absolutely what you need right now. It's quite funny because you should have been getting some out of this open relationship but you knew you wouldn't open your legs for anyone that isn't your boyfriend. Unfortunately, your boyfriend's been busy opening the legs of women that isn't you.
You shook his hand firmly, a genuine smile on your lips, exhaustion still prominent but it'll do, you guessed. "It's a pleasure meeting you."
"I see you've been acquainted." Your manager, Jun, laughed as he enters the room, "you and Kai will be having a photoshoot. That's the first step."
You nodded your head, your eyes focused on your new co-worker. Definitely an eye candy. Kim Kai, the model every high-end brands would kill to have. All you know about him right now is that, and how determined he is to explore the acting industry. You've heard that he'd been training for a while and they have chosen you to be his first leading lady for an instant win. They guessed that since everyone loved you, they'll love him, too.
You never had a problem with any of your co-workers, or your leading men, just to be specific. You knew how to work the camera and how to exclude such chemistry with a man you just met. You knew you were the best choice.
"Guess we're stuck together." You mumbled, trying to lighten up the mood. They left you with the words, 'get comfortable with each other, you'll need it' so here you are, sitting right across of him in an expensive restaurant.
"Yeah. Such a pity." He teased, a playful smile playing on his lips. You just know, you were going to like him.
He insisted upon driving you home, earning quite the whispers and glances on your way to his car. You didn't mind. No matter what the truth is, they'll twist everything however they want it. You were spent anyway, you couldn't care less to anything right now.
The drive home was a silent, though, it wasn't the type of silence strangers have. You wouldn't call him a stranger after this day, he was an absolute angel and you were pretty sure you can call him your friend.
"We're here."
You hummed and gathered your things, shifting on the small space of his car. Once you've settled your eyes on him, you opened your mouth to thank him, only closing it back again when you realized he wasn't paying attention to you. Your heart rate picked up seeing how he's intently staring somewhere outside the confines of his expensive car.
"Isn't that your boyfriend?"
You swallowed hard, panic clouding your mind, "Kai... I... thanks for-"
"Are you seeing that?"
You hesitantly turned your head, following his line of sight. There he is. Your eyes stung, heart throbbing with pain as you processed the sight of his hands planted on a girl's hip, kissing her with so much passion outside of your own house. A bigger hole pierced through your heart, looking away immediately as you cannot look at the love of you life give all of him with a kiss. A kiss that isn't for you.
"I... yeah... uhm..." you blinked rapidly as you hurriedly shifted on your seat, trying to block your boyfriend and his other girl from Kai's sight with your body, "I should... go..."
He tore his eyes off them, furrowing his eyebrows at your strange actions, "what are you doing? He's literally cheating on you."
You shook your head, immediately regretting it, cursing yourself as the tears you've been trying so hard to hold back slipped, rolling so carelessly on your flushed cheeks, "no..." you chuckled bitterly, "no, he's not."
"Huh?"
"Look, Kai. I really need to go. I'm just so... tired..." you wiped off the tears with the back of your hand, "please, don't talk about this to anyone..."
"But..."
"Please? I can't do this right now..."
He let out a small sigh, his orbs held so much confusion and pity. You hated it. You never wanted to be looked at with pityness, but you guess you really are pathetic. "Well, it is your business... but can we talk about this? We're going to work together for a good amount of time. You know I can't just..."
You nodded your head, wanting to end this conversation already. You really are tired. You felt like you're going to pass out if this continues on any further, "I will."
Your glassy eyes met his happy, satisfied ones. Your body ached, you felt like you were going to get a really bad fever that'll kill you. Finally, you thought.
"Hey, love." He welcomed you home, immediately wrapping his arms around your waist. You felt your soul leave your body when he placed a small kiss on your lips, can't help but remember how he was kissing the other girl a while ago.
How is this so easy to him? When did going back to you right after he finished fucking other women became so normal to him? You can't help but blame yourself. You should blame yourself. This is your fault. You are the stupid one in the relationship.
"Saw pictures of you with that model earlier." He started, his eyes bore into yours, "was it good? Were you satisfied?"
"What?"
"He fucked you, didn't he?"
You gasped a single breath because that hurt. That fucking hurt. You felt like crying again. You were so fucking tired, so tired of working, so tired of crying, so tired of dealing with him.
All this and you can't find the courage in you to just let him go. You can't and as the time passes by, you hated yourself more and more.
You were so hurt, so mad, and all you wanted to do was to hurt him back. You wanted to make him feel what you felt almost half of the relationship, the hatred clouded your mind, overshadowed your love, but how could you if you weren't so sure if he cared, if he loved as much as you do.
"Yeah. T'was mind-blowing."
The next following days were a blur, meetings and discussions, on and on about how they'll introduce Kai and the plans about the up-coming movie. It was getting boring, yes, but at least you wouldn't have to spend more awkward time at home.
"I think it's best if you two attend the gala together."
Your eyebrow immediately shot up with that, "what about my..." you faltered, "my boyfriend?"
You can feel Kai's eyes burning holes through the side of your head, still very confused of what happened three days ago. He couldn't seem to find the best time to question you about it with how packed both your schedules are. You knew you were happy about it, dealing with people telling you how foolish your relationship with Baekhyun is definitely getting tiring.
"Yeah, I think that'll create a scandal, we don't want that." One of the staffs agreed with you, making you relax on your seat a little. You're sure you are currently agitated with him right now but you wouldn't want to create another fight to stress you and him out again.
Your mind flew to the night you stayed at home alone, to the nights he neglected you, to the nights to sobbed yourself to sleep. You were so miserable and you're still thinking of what he would feel right now? Would he care, though? You were pretty sure he won't be leaving with you that night, what would be the point of having him as a date if you would still end up driving home by yourself?
You cleared your throat, "but... yeah I guess having Kai as my date would be a great idea," you trailed, "after the movie announcement, it would make sense why, and... I don't think Baekhyun would mind."
"That's settled, then."
"What... what do you mean we're not going together?"
Your heart rate picked up as you paced through the house, getting what you needed for tonight's event before going to your stylist's place. You never actually had the time to talk to Baekhyun about the sudden change of plans because he knew, you knew, it was automatic. You're his plus one, and he's yours. It only changed this time.
"They needed me to go with Kai."
"What?"
"For work."
You sighed when he didn't respond after that, picking up your bag, ready to leave.
"But... but I wanted to spend time with you tonight..."
Your steps halted, eyes shifting from the door to him. Your blood boiled, a bitter laugh bubbled out your throat even before you could stop yourself, "Oh, Baekhyun, I know, you know, you would leave me for someone else," you broke off the eye contact, before he sees how broken you are, "don't lie to yourself."

TIME (ONEUS FANTASY AU)
AMBER'S POV
Once I got inside, the passage immediately shut. Sigh. Why does that always happen? Am I in a sort of horror movie? Cold wind brushed against my cheek caused me to shiver and snap back to reality.
I looked to my surroundings and everything is covered with thick snow while the sky is pale. "Winter?" It's very cold that I can barely move from my position. I hugged myself due to intense coldness. "Why didn't Xion tell me about this?" I started walking trying my best to ignore the freezing wind. "Thank goodness, I am wearing this black leather boots, my feet could've been stuck as soon as I stepped here!" I whispered triumphantly to myself. I can't find any other way except heading straight so I didn't bother to trouble myself.
I was walking and walking until it started to snow, I pulled my hoodie up to lessen the chance of me getting sick due to excessive coldness. I just keep walking as I lost track of time, maybe an hour or two had passed already... I wasn't able to notice that the road is quite bumpy. I slipped and fell down to the pile of snow and landed on my butt. "Ow, ow, not too cold! Ouch, it burns!" I looked up and saw a large, human-sized raven looking down at me with its clawed hand offered to me. I got startled and moved back from it. "Do you want my help or not?" I got more shocked when I heard him speak but regained my composure and took his hand, the feeling of his scaled skin and claw fingers are foreign which sent chills to my body. I thanked him for helping me and apologized for my behavior. "Have you broken some bones?" "Fortunately, I haven't, thank you for your concern." I hesitantly smiled to the large black bird from the crow family.
"By the way, my name is Ravn and don't be afraid, I don't bite." He suddenly turned into a human-like appearance. He has pretty eyes that compliments his other features well. "I'm Amber, I'm looking for the way out of here and was kinda lost, perhaps do you know any exits?" "I do, there's a town plaza nearby the castle, at the back of the castle is the Forest of the Lost which I had heard rumors of having an exit somewhere." "Can you help me go to that place?" "Sure. I'm heading there too. Just follow me." He smiled at me and pulled me beside him before we started walking.
"Do you live here?" I curiously asked him. "Yes." He replied briefly. "Uh, about earlier, why were you in that appearance?" "Oh, I'm sorry about that, it was too cold at that part of the land and was snowing heavily at the woods so I used my hybrid form to keep me warm." "Ah, I see. So I'm guessing you are not a human?" "Not really. I'm from the Human-Crow family, to be specific, the Ravens." "Woah, I think that's cool." "Well, I ain't gonna deny it." I looked up to him and he smiled cheekily. "Why did you choose to walk instead of flying?" "I'm still weak as of now and I cannot fly yet. I had just recovered from cold and fever." "What? Then you shouldn't be here, you could have just stayed home!" I got worried but he reassured me, "I was looking for a certain fruit to cure me, and fortunately I found it and ate it right away. I'm all good now." "You sure?" "Yeah. Don't worry."
We walked in comfortable silence and talked occasionally, it's very easy to make a conversation with him and it wasn't awkward, as if we had known each other for some time. We reached the seventeen o'clock as said on the huge clock in the middle of the plaza. It is not like any other clocks that are up to twelve only, instead, it is up to eighteen. It was really weird. "I'm going to buy dry ingredients at the market. Is it okay for you to wait a bit?" "No problem, I am looking for a botique, is it possible to find it here?" "Yup, are you going to buy clothes for you? Do you have money, I can lend you some if you want." "Don't worry, I have some with me besides I can't stand the coldness wearing these clothes." I sighed and shook my head earning a chuckle from him. "Yeah, yeah, I'll take you there after I buy the ingredients, is it okay?" "It's okay, I don't mind waiting." I smiled at him.
—
Ravn told me to change my clothes in the bathroom. I thought there isn't enough water for them since it's currently winter but I was wrong. The pump has lots of water. Ravn even heated water for me incase I wanted to take a quick bath. As I am taking a quick bath I suddenly remembered the clock on the town plaza, why is it up to eighteen? I'll ask Ravn after. I changed into a white long sleeve ruffle blouse and fitted dress pants that I bought from the botique. It is old fashioned but simple. Ravn told me to just leave my clothes on the small table inside the bathroom. Before I leave, I made sure that the place is clean. I left bathroom feeling warm and refreshed.
I headed to the kitchen where Ravn is preparing the plates. "I'm done, thank you for letting me use the bathroom." "No problem, come here, sit down." He motioned me to sit on the chair opposite to him, "I prepared dinner." I sat down and thanked him. After we ate, I volunteered to clean the dishes while he get changed which he agreed hesistantly not wanting to bother me but I insisted.
"Are you done yet, Amber?" Ravn asked me when he got out of the bathroom. "Yes." I replied as I am drying my hands using the hand towel on the cupboard. He sat down on one of the chairs at the dining table. "Amber, please sit down, I have some questions to ask you." He said sternly which made me quite nervous, so I sat down quickly, "What is it?" "Helping you and letting you stay here doesn't mean I trust you fully and I'm not suspicious, right?" "Well, yeah. I'm still a stranger to you." "I don't want to hurt your feelings." "No, no, not at all. Go ahead."
"What are you?" Ravn realized his question, "I'm sorry it came off like that." "It's okay. I am just a mere human. Next question please." "You said you were kinda lost. How did you end up here?" "Well, I... uh, I entered a gate and was transported here. I don't know if you'll believe that but it's true." "Oh, I see. Are you aware of this place? I bet you don't know anything about the Winter Realm." "It is true that I don't." He sighed at my answer. "Be thankful that I'm the one who found you, if it was the werewolves hybrid, they could have killed you." My body shivered thinking of it. "But why would they kill me?" "They aren't very welcoming to strangers. Plus, you also look suspicious so they'll probably put you to painful death." I cringed at the thought of them tearing my body apart.
"I'm done asking questions, if you want, you can ask me too." My insides calmed down after he said that. "Then, where am I really? What kind of place is this?" My eyebrows furrowed unintentionally. "You're in Winter Realm, and obviously it's winter here. Wherein the season through out the whole year is winter." "What?!" "Yes." "How do you survive in this place? If the snowing is all-year round?" "Most of the citizens here are hybrids, humans are very rare here. And I'm not the only one from the Human-Crow family living here, we're a lot. Also, the werewolves hybrid are living here too. They are the knights of the castle while some of the human-crows are messengers and servants. Some of the hybrids us are just like me, a commoner." Woah, his house is quite big for a commoner's, that's what I thought. "Does that mean that the workers on the botique I bought these clothes, are not human? How about you?" He nodded and I gasped, if Ravn wasn't with me, maybe they won't sell clothes to me. "I sometimes have a duty in the castle as a cook or whatever they need for a special occasion like grand balls, meeting other diplomats but I work part-time on a small restaurant at the town plaza every 27 o'clock until 32."
"Oh, speaking of time, why is the clock up to eighteen?" "Are you referring to the clock on the plaza?" I nod. "It is because a day is equivalent to thirty-six hours, but! The daytime is 'til 12 o'clock only, then the rest is nighttime. That's total of 24 hours of night." "Then, what time is it now?" He looked to the window at the living room and squinted his eyes. "Hmm, according to the clock outside, it's currently passed twenty one o'clock ." "Isn't it late already?" "Not really. Why do you ask?" "In the place where I originally live, it's actually time to sleep by twenty one o'clock." "Really? You may sleep at my bed upstairs." "It's okay. I will just sleep at the couch. Can you take me to the forest later instead?" "That won't be a problem. It's actually my nap time, and I take my naps on the couch." "Oh, then I guess I'll be sleeping on the bed, you may have the couch." We both sat up and I reluctantly went to the three-stepped stairs while he's heading to the living room. "I told you, just sleep on the bed." He laughed while I climb the stairs, I just smiled at him and head to his room. I left the door half-closed since I'm not used to sleeping not in my room and for him to be able to enter without the need to knock.
I can't fall asleep yet so I stood up and went over to the window. The neighbourhood looks peaceful at night, I wonder, what are they doing too? Some are in their houses, while the others have their lights turned off. After admiring the view for some time, sleepiness finally kicked in and I immediately dozed off as I laid down myself.
—
"Amber, you ready?" Ravn asked me after I finished gathering the things I needed. "Well, the keys are here, the coins too, the fruits I bought earlier and the water bladder you gave me. I'm ready to go!" I replied to him happily and put on my sling bag. "Wait!" "Why?" I furrowed my eyebrows at him. "Take this lamp and this dagger, you can't just go to a forest without anything to protect you, especially at night!" He handed me the lamp and the dagger with a smile. I tied the dagger to my waist and hid it under my cloak. "What time is it?" "It's 26:13. I think we need to go now." "I believe so. Let's go?" Ravn opened the door to his house and let me step outside first.
—
Ravn flew me to the back of the castle and we landed safely. I climbed down from him before he transformed back to his human form, "Thank you for this, I cannot give anything back except these coins." I took the purse from my bag and handed it to him, he pushes it back to me saying he's fine but I grabbed his hand, placed the purse on it and shoved it to him and smiled, "No, I insist, take those. I have the half of it in my bag." Lie, I only left a quarter on my bag. "Well, I don't have a choice, you're too persistent." We both laughed knowing he won't win this arguement with me.
"Thank you so much Ravn for everything you did... From helping me on my way to the town, letting me stay the night, to bringing me here. I wish I could have given you anything aside from those coins." "It's alright, Amber. I'm glad I was able to help you. It's our family's rule— to help anyone in need without seeking for something in return." He plastered a smile. "Thank you again, but I think you need to head back or you'll be late for your work and might get paid less than you should have." I replied in a concerned tone, afraid he might think I'm shooing him away. His eyes went wide, looks like he had forgotten it already, I chuckled at the sight. "Oh right, I totally forgot about it, thank you for reminding me. I need to go, bye Amber." He waved to me and quickly transformed into a black raven spreading its magnificent wings. I waved back at him and he looked at me one last time before flying away.
I marched towards the inside of the said forest with excitement and nervousness. The only things I hear are the sound of crickets, owls and my own footsteps. I countinued walking until I heard a howling sound from afar. I got startled and stopped on my tracks for a while. Sure, walking at night– in the woods, with a small light and all alone? Isn't really scary. As I walked deeper and deeper to the forest, the growling of the animal became less and less faint until I spotted a creature not far from me. Its body is covered with black smoke and its eyes are glowing yellow. I stopped on my tracks to prevent further noise and hid the lamp beside me, hoping that the creature won't notice the light and come towards me. Unfortunately, it started walking to my direction causing me to flinch and drop the lamp I was carrying. It jumped infront of me and I wasn't able to move due to fear taking over me.
"Grrr, what is a lady doing here at night? Mayhaps you don't want to be able to see the sunlight tomorrow, eh?" It growled louder and before I could talk it lunged infront of me causing me to fall to the ground. "Please, spare my life." "Ha! You wish. Now, say goodbye." The creature, which somewhat look alike to a lion and wolf at the same time, slowly brings its face closer and opened its mouth widely. Is this where I end already?

For the One Piece character question thing, I'm gonna give you: 1. Monkey D. Luffy, 2. Nico Robin, 3. X Drake, 4. Jinbe, 5. Gecko Moria, 6. Buggy, 7. Aokiji, 8. Akainu, 9. Tashigi, 10. Marco, 11. Magellan, 12. Shirahoshi, 13. Momonosuke, 14. Monet, and 15. Bartolomeo! :P Sorry, stole some of the ones you asked me, you just picked great ones!! XD
1. MonkeyD. Luffy: Whatis your dream job?
I honestly have no idea and it seriously kills me that I appear to be wandering around aimlessly not knowing what my dream job is!! :( I really just want a job where I go to work everyday and feel both happy (and incredibly lucky) that this is my job!! I’m still waiting for some ‘sign’ to tell me what my vocation in life is.....hahahaha!! Unfortunately, I must endure my current misery until that ‘eureka’ moment comes along. :P Maybe Gintoki will hire me to work as part of his Odd Jobs gang!! ;) :P
2. NicoRobin:What was the first book that you can remember reading?
I remember the first books that I ever borrowed from my local library were ‘The Famous Five’ series by Enid Blyton. I was just blown away by the adventures that they went on! I always craved adventure and I still do....I would love to (one day) go on some sort of epic adventure myself! :D
I also discovered ‘The Harry Potter’ series when I about seven years old. I remember going into town with my Mum and picking up ‘Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone’. I saved up my pocket money to buy it and when I got home I distinctly recall sitting on my bed to begin reading it. I couldn’t put it down, my Mum kept calling me to eat my dinner, but I kept refusing to go downstairs. I finished the book before I went to bed, I was such a weird child! XD
3. XDrake: Ifyour dad was a pirate, and you were captured by Marines would youserve for them?
No, I don’t think I would, as I really hate the Marines. I’m only on episode 27 of ‘One Piece’ so my knowledge of them is still a little bit hazy. However, in the earlier episodes I came across a Marine called Fullbody and he was such a despicable human being. He was both arrogant and nasty, if there are two traits that I absolutely cannot abide in a person....it’s definitely those two. Fullbody acted as if he was better than everybody else, which was ultimately his downfall, as Sanji’s reaction was AMAZING. Sanji certainly used some words of wisdom to bring Fullbody down a peg or two, which he most definitely deserved.
4. Jinbe:Would you take up Luffy’s offer to be in the crew or act as anally?
I would definitely love to be part of Luffy’s crew!! I already mentioned that I have a thirst for adventure, so what would be a better way to quench this thirst than to set sail with Luffy and his gang of pirates! It’s always said that sometimes the journey is more important than the destination. This would certainly be true if I could become a member of the straw hats. I mean, it would be great to find the elusive treasure that is named one piece, however, it would also be pretty great to be able to be friends with Luffy and the rest of the gang! Also, as we would be setting sail and having so many adventures along the way.....life would indeed be wonderful!!
5. GeckoMoria: Areyou fan of horror movies? If not, what was your worstexperience.
I am most definitely not a fan of horror movies, I like psychological thrillers, but the horror genre is most definitely not my thing. Emmmmmmm.......my worst experience was probably more embarrassing than anything else!! I remember I went to see a horror movie with my friend, unlike me he’s obsessed with this film genre! I can’t recall the name of the film that we went to see, but it was terrible....and when I say terrible, I mean terribly bad! Anyway, this really ridiculous moment happened in the film.....and I screamed so loudly......and nobody else screamed at all........everybody started laughing!! I immediately went bright red, and in that moment, I just wanted to leave the cinema! XD
6. Buggy:Are you a leader or a follower?
I have my own beliefs, my own opinions and my own way of dressing! If anybody goes against what I believe in, then I will engage in a lively debate with them! I will never willingly accept what another person says to me to be the ‘Gospel truth’! I like to think of myself as being able to independently evaluate a situation for myself.....that doesn’t mean to say that my mind can’t be changed. However, you must present a good case for me to undergo this change of mind. I don’t know if that’s necessarily being a leader, I think it’s just more of a case of being true to yourself.
I used to always be a follower when I was younger, as my first friend was a bit of a bully towards me! I think that negatively impacted on my self-confidence, as we were friends from junior infants up until first class. When I finally stood up to her....it was one of the best things that I have ever done and from that point on I told myself that nobody would treat me like that again.
7. Aokiji: Wouldyou throw away all position and power in your job because you don’tagree with the ethics of the organization?
Yes, I actually think I would!! I have certain core beliefs that are like my foundation stones which guide me through life....almost like a moral compass. I would like to think that no amount of power could corrupt me into accepting unacceptable ethical practices by any organisation.
I was once involved in such a situation where I tackled one of my teachers over his absolutely appalling views on animal rights. From that moment on.....he HATED me with a passion.......he really turned on me! He actually told my Mum that I was too headstrong for my own good......!!
8. Akainu:What kind of justice do you believe in?
I believe that if you commit a crime then you should be made pay for your actions! Of course in an ideal world there would be peace and everybody would be able to live in harmony with each other! Unfortunately, this type of world is non-existent, therefore, certain measures must be put in place in order to prevent things such as murder from occurring! If these measures didn't exist, then society as we know it would descend into a state of lawlessness. People themselves have different beliefs as to what is right and what is wrong. This is why we look to those in power to guide us in the right direction as to what is the proper conduct. We all know that government officials, the police force etc are corruptible! This means that often those who should pay for their evil deeds end up not paying for their crimes. Unfortunately, money seems to be the deciding factor in determining whether or not a person does indeed go to jail for their crime. I personally feel as if we should treat others as we wish to be treated ourselves. Our moral compass should guide us through life and we should have the presence of mind to know right from wrong. If somebody carries out a premeditated murder then they should pay for their actions by spending the rest of their life in jail!
9. Tashigi:Do people ever tell you that you look like someone they know?
Emmmmmmmm....no......I don’t think that anyone has ever told that I look like somebody else!! :( I did once get mistaken for being a boy though, does that count??!! :P If you have any ideas about who I may look like.....please tell me!! :P
10. Marco:If you could have any devil fruit, what would it be?
I had to look up the different types of devil fruit that are available....and out of all of them....I would probably eat Ope Ope no Mi, as it definitely seems like the most useful fruit!
11. Magellan:Are you allergic to anything?
Yes, I’m allergic to pollen, as I suffer with hay fever! :( I have a spray that I use whenever I get a headache or sore eyes! It also means that I normally don’t wear perfume, I especially try to avoid perfume whenever I have to study....as my brain wouldn’t be able to function at all!!
12. Shirahoshi:Do you hold grudges?
Emmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......yes.....I hold grudges....eeeekkkk! I once had an argument with my friend that lasted a couple of months!! I was just so angry with her that I didn’t want to see her at all!! XD
I also used to hold a grudge against people who had hurt me in the past, however, I slowly realised that this type of grudge was hurting me more than them, so I gradually learned to overcome it! Sometimes you need to move on for your own sake!
13. Momonosuke: Whenwas the last time that you had a nightmare?
Thankfully, I haven’t had a nightmare in quite a long time! However, I do have a recurring one where I’m being chased by a witch! I spend that entire nightmare running and running away from her! I always wake up in a cold sweat from that dream! XD
14. Monet:Do you enjoy writing? Share a snippet?
Yes, I love writing!! It’s one of my favourite hobbies! :D Emmmmmmm.......I would be too nervous to share a snippet......but I will tell you that I’m currently writing a novel based during the Second World War! I love German history and I’m especially interested in politics! Therefore, it’s a story about the struggle of a Jewish family, who are living in fascist Germany! It documents their desire to escape from this society, however, will they be able to escape in time to avoid being sentenced to death??!!
15. Bartolomeo:Are you massively obsessed with something?
Yes.....I’m obsessed with anime guys......I really wish I was joking when I say that! :P
I’m also currently obsessed with collecting anime figures!! I check the websites of both AmiAmi and Mandarake at least once a day! HELP ME!!
Finally, I love anime so much! I tend to incorporate watching anime into my daily routine!! XD
