okay so as you can see from the tags additionally to a royal au this is an arranged marriage as well. similarly to canon, the weasleys are dirt poor so arthur makes a deal with the king (oliver's dad). the details of the deal is that oliver's dad will help the weasleys financially if oliver can marry one of arthur's children (it was actually the king that made this deal with arthur and it makes sensei swear, or at least i think). however, oliver's marriage candidate wasn't percy at first it was ginny, since she's the only girl (the woods didn't know how young she was) until percy argued that it would be better for oliver to be viewed as gay rather than a child predator :P here's some other points cause I don't wanna leak the whole thing

percy and oliver are 17 turning 18 so if you do the math ginny is 12 turning 13

molly and arthur aren't the greatest in this (sorry)

there's no magic but it takes place in the same time period because it will physically pain me to do all the research needed

i probably made the weasleys much nicer to eachother rhan they are in canon and I can't do it any other way
