the curse is that rarely is it ever "oh I love every aspect of this piece and I'm proud of making it" or "the entire thing is ugly or otherwise not worth my time and therefore I will discard it without mercy." it always has to be like "ooh some aspect of this is super awesome and amazing but unfortunately it's irrevocably tied to something that no human being should lay eyes on again, including me"

''rb your old art'' <<would love to babe but sometimes I am letting the cringe win #but seriously you know the feeling of like. hm. well. this looks kinda bad. compels me tho.#could I ever make a drawing where all the parts of it look good instead of only some???#please for once could I write something where the cool and shiny and narratively compelling bits #could for once stand on their own without having to be propped up by a leaning tower of stupid?#(perhaps not and artistic skill is more about drawing the attention to the good bits)#perhaps a little stupid is necessary. HOWEVER #I don't like when it's my stupid it just looks so obvious
