So im the anon who asked when you'll publish again cuz I missed it and I just wanna say sorry im so late but i jus saw ur post. Thank you for also understanding my point of view, I don't really want to come off as rude or ungrateful, that's not my intention and it will never be. hi, my love!! i didn't take it the wrong way <3 i can explain what i mean.. so, this time it's not as much about interaction bc everyone's been very sweet and talks to me despite holiday season! i still have more msgs than i can answer (keep it all coming tho pls hehe :P), so the issue this time is more just.. how empty tumblr is. i scroll through my dash once and am already at a post that was posted/rbd an hour ago bc nobody's around (ccs and readers alike!!).

so many of my mutuals have left tumblr and so many readers have, too (i miss you all sm btw sigh) and watching tumblr die has been so disheartening. it's gotten very dry? and then, and that's a me problem, i also get so damn insecure all the time. i keep feeling like im unwanted here and get vv scared talking to people, bc there was so much negativity and hate on here for the past year that i constantly think twice before approaching someone. i just hate overthinking like, "does xy hate me? should i rather not interact" lol which sucks bc i like talking to people so much and used to be the most social butterfly.

so the loneliness just comes from the overall desert-like feeling on here combined with my own fears that tumblr's better off without me. it's stupid 😞

also! idc about notes tbh! e.g. i enjoyed dropping cmi11 more bc it got more love than idk cmi9.5 despite getting less likes. sometimes the 'getting thousands of likes' is super cool but also the problem bc of the lack of reblogs etc. (like there's a big difference between e.g. cmi9 and cmi11, even in the comment section). the only thing i wanna say about interaction, though, is: whenever i do attendance checks before posting a chapter, a lot of ppl (and new names) comment that they're excited — id absolutely love it if you reacted to the actual drop, too bc that's often met by silence by those who are super thrilled at first 🥺 and taglist readers!! where are you guysss lol lmk if you read, too!! writing is such a difficult hobby to indulge in, so writers just want to feel like people see it and that their effort is appreciated, even if thousands of words meet just a paragraph of feedback — we still love it 🥺 that's all. atm i don't have more to say about interaction bc everyone's been the sweetest.

Hiya I was just reading your writing process, and I kinda have a suggestion/request if you don't mind... you said that you have some pictures for inspiration, when I saw the vanity it fit a lot better in the story then the one that i was thinking of, so ig my suggestion/request is that you post the picts of the inspos like as a post itself not with the fic but like you dont need to post it the same day as the fic or for every chapter.

But this is just a suggestion/request so please don't feel like you have to do this and just take care of yourself, I have seen too many great writers quit tumblr because they feel too pressured to write/finish stories, so I hope you and your gf keep having a fun time whilst brain storming for future chapters/fics.

This last month was vastly busy for you. Senior finals were coming up and you needed to do at least okay on them if you wanted to graduate on time.

You were watching the shop while you were studying and your boyfriend Fez was dealing in the back.

You didn’t know if it was because you were busy but Fez has been very clingy lately. Every time one of his customers came in the back and left he would walk out with them and wrap his arms around you. And like clockwork someone would come in interrupting his time with you.

You didn’t mind him just hanging around you but he would try to distract you from your studying so you did your best to ignore him. You would give him little kisses but be mainly focused on your work and not him.

He didn’t have anyone coming by the shop for at least an hour so he decided to take advantage of that. He locked the front door and made his way to behind you, nuzzling his face into your neck giving you little pecks up and down.

“Fez, baby, I know you want to have fun but I really need to study.”

“I know. Why don't I just take control and you just focus on your studying?” his lips trailed up your neck and bit your earlobe.

“That's not fair,” you start losing your train of thought when his tongue swirled around your neck, “you know all my weak spots and i-” you were cut off by his hands sliding up your shirt and pinching your nipples, “and I don't even know what I was about to say.”

You nod just wanting his mouth back on your sweet spot. “Okay honey, read your study guide.”

You were always puddy in his hands when he called you that, “honey, you need to study,” he then resumed his work on your neck.

You try to read the paper but you felt his hands trail back down to the button of your pants and stopped. “Read it,” he said sternly and resumed sliding your pants off leaving you in your shirt and underwear.

With a nervousness to your voice, you read aloud one of the questions, “what happened in Chicago in 18-” you moaned as he slowly rubbed your clit over your underwear, “86 that led to the killing of 8 people?”

You wanted him to go faster and as if he was a mind reader, “I’ll go faster if you answer the question correctly.” he whispered and kissed the side of your head.

“Um, it was,” he started to pick up pace, “the uh Haymarket Riot.”

“What groups were the result of the social gospel?” you couldn’t handle what he was doing to you.

His praise made you moan, “the salvation army, oh god,” he started to go faster causing you to press your ass closer to him, “and um the YMCA.” with the other part of your answer correct he adds two other fingers in you.

Your chest was on top of the counter and your whole back half was exposed for him.

“One more honey?” he cooed.

You shook your head violently just wanting him to fill you.

“Do you wanna take a little study break?”

All you could do was nod your head, “you sure?”

“Fez please just fuck me!” you snap back to him.

He chuckles and with his three fingers still in you he uses his other hand to rub your clit. You squirm at his touch and you knew you were close and he knew that too. He kept at a steady pace but applied pressure whenever he could.

You couldn’t hold it any longer and with the last pump of his fingers curled up in you, you came all over his hand.

“Such a good girl,” he said, wiping the hair stuck to your face by your sweat.

“Do you think you can go another round for me, honey?”

You nod your head and his lips crash into yours, “good because when I did with you, you aren’t even going to remember your own name.”

His tongue then swirls with yours and with a swift motion he picks you up and places you on the stool that was behind the counter.

You get yourself situated and he starts to undo his pants, you see his hardon pressed violently against his jeans, and when he unleashed you could tell he wanted to fuck you for a while. He whimpered at the touch of your thumb rubbing his pre-cum down his shaft and then you lubed it up more with your spit.

When you bent down to put him in your mouth you heard him moan and that really got you going. With your hand wrapped around him and you bobbing your head, he was starting to become undone.

Lol jk tho i barely draw at ALL believe it or not, but that doesn't mean I'm talented or anything. I just keep a few points in mind, and i hope these points are helpful to anyone who only picks up the pen occasionally, yet passionately;

1) Dont be afraid to take risks and try new things. This can take a lot of your time, and you're not gonna be pleased with the first one or two redraws. It is going to take a LOT of retries. But it's fun if you like a challenge, and can make you feel proud even if it kinda looks sloppy, because hey! Progress is progress, and when you're doing something you've never done before, its a lot easier to see yourself go from zero to something. And in the end? You're learning a lot more than you would from drawing what you already know how to draw.

2) Take the time to look at tutorials. Tutorials for drawing methods, for how to use your art program, for how to reduce distractions in your environment, etc. Even if some or a lot dont work, you may just find a few things that change your entire experience and make things SO much more efficient.

3) If you're drawing for others, draw a lot of it for yourself. When you dont draw that much, you dont keep that much attention. Especially if your blog is mostly reblogs lol. There may not be enough people responding to all the effort you put into your art for them to enjoy, so you have to make sure you yourself enjoyed it. If you're like me and you need a lot of time for your unsteady, unskilled hands to put to use the drawing techniques you just learned from that YT video, it's gonna be. Stressful. Part of making that stress the good kind (because believe it or not, it exists) is looking forward to what you're doing, whether it be the journey or the end result. But, with that in mind...

4) Take breaks, don't overdo it. Slow down. Take a deep breath. Scribble on another drawing you're never gonna show anyone. Stand up, get a drink, sleep- heck, take a day off drawing! If you're worried that your passion is going to fizzle out before you finish your project, just know that doing it all at once can cause burnout, especially for someone who doesnt draw often. Dont just make good art; make art a good experience.

5) Admire your own art. Go on. Go ahead. Let the dopamine flow through your brain at the sight of your masterpiece. You know you wanna (at least when it's fresh). By inspecting your art closely, it gives you the opportunity to see what you like about what you've done, and what couldve gone better. I decided that I rather liked adding stupid lil elbow bumps to my characters, but realized i could make them too bumpish. Also, looking at your art for a while instead of leaving it behind immediately just kinda.. makes all the effort seem more worth it, somehow.

6) You don't always have to try to improve. I dont think i need to explain this one. Just try not to pressure yourself into always improving. Improve when you wanna, regress when you feel like it, and stick to your standards when you're up for it. Again, make art a good experience.

7) Art isn't always in the aesthetic. If you keep that in mind, depending on what you're drawing, you can make your art leagues more interesting by adding other features of art. Interesting facial expressions! Quirky body language! Way too many swirlies everywhere! Ugly angles! Jokes! Symbolism! Things that arent exactly pretty, yet still meaningful. Or maybe something completely meaningless, yet still fun. Etc. In my very humble opinion, ive always preferred jokes within art and clever designs over pretty colors and clean lines. People will love your art for whatever you put in it, so long as you do it with heart and passion. And you'll love your own art more for it, too. (I love laughing as i struggle to keep my lines straight for my joke comics)

8) Finally, don't try to be super original. I'm not saying you should steal other people's ideas, or that even trying to be original is an impossible endeavor. I'm just saying that the point of art was never to be original. I cant say what the point is exactly, because i'm not a real artist lol. I draw to get my ideas across, whether or not theyre cliche and overused. I just wanna share with people. Perhaps others have similar ideas they wanna share, or they have reasons entirely their own to make art. But the point of art is not to be original - so dont stress about it. Think about why you really make art, and how that makes you happy.

There are a billion more contextual pieces of advice i could talk on, but in my limited experience, this is all i can think of so far. Thank you for asking, berri :3c i think it's real cool how you're collecting all the bits of advice you can from everyone.

Ngl I've always wanted to be more invested in the Phandom, but It seems I can never really get "in" ya know? I've tried to do a lot of things but, it seems like what I try never works. I want to dm and ask blogs to interact, and I've tried joining the Phandom Baby Server... But none of it has worked. I'm stumped on what to do at this point and I feel like I don't belong. Could I get some tips?

i’m gonna be honest, it’s not an easy process!! joining a fandom and making friends can be hard at times, even in this one where it’s typically pretty inclusive and, in my experience, easier than others i’ve been in. i joined sometime in april 2018 and didn’t actually feel like i was really a part of it till the phandom phight club. granted, i’m p shy and never really went out of my way to talk to people, so i kinda blended into the background for a bit. overall, you just kinda have to put yourself out there. it can be a little hard but i have some ideas you can try

if joining the pbs server didn’t work, you may wanna try the official phandom discord, where p much everyone in the phandom hangs out. i’m not a mod so i can’t get you the invite, but i’m like 80% sure @dovahnicky is a mod, so you can try them? (sorry if it’s wrong ajshdks)

phandom events are a sure fire way to put yourself out there, since big blogs tend to run and reblog posts about it. dannymay is coming up and you can pretty much do whatever you want for it, from shitposts to art to fic!! it’s low commitment too, but it’s just a nice way to contribute that could be fun to try

the phandom has really chill standards when it comes to posts. don’t feel pressured to do super well on everything, to make high quality posts. we love memes and shitposts, and i personally really like to get more smaller artists/writers/whatever recognized, so if you want your posts or ideas out there more, please don’t be afraid to reach out!! re reblog your posts, or, if you joined a discord, there’s typically a boosting channel where you can promote it, or even dm me, i tend to be super excited when people come to me with new ideas, headcanons, art, etc

generally, don’t stress too much about how much you contribute, either. it’s okay if you’re more on the sidelines - we appreciate those who just reply and reblog posts so much as well, like. we see you and we love you okay, you’re super valid and it’s definitely a form of contributing.

also, people go absolutely apeshit over headcanons in this phandom, it’s hilarious. i’d def recommend following @reallydumbdannyphantomaus, their posts and submissions are super funny and they’re such a cool person!!

otherwise keep sending asks, dm people you feel comfortable with, send them posts or memes, whatever! i’m fine with it!!
