I have never been more UPSET to see how selfish and brutal these "people" are, calling palestinians "human animals" and saying they are savages while hamas are terrorists when theyve released hostages, and have done nothing but be nice to the said hostages. It is different, I grew up in a country where a vast majority are muslims while other religions can peacefully coexist.

I grew up hearing about palestine and gaza ever since I was in elementary school. Malaysia has tried to speak upon this but perhaps at that time, people just didn't care enough or, our voices were silenced.

I've seen white men fighting against defenseless nations. I've seen westerners blaming how islam teaches its followers horrible things. I've seen americans calling countless muslims as terrorists. But i have yet to see anyone, LITERALLY anyone calling the one who is in the wrong the actual terroist.

4th of July, 2023 - Happy Independence Day to all Americans. On this day, I aim not to spoil your festivities but only draw your attention to something serious which is happening in the world since a decade after 9/11. Islam is actually a peaceful religion but some countries in the West are hell-bent on associating it with violence and terrorism. We should attach peace with all three Abrahamic religions and that's where this email which I received today is important to read. The Holy Qur’an clearly states that if a person saves one life, it’s as if he saved humanity, and if a person kills one human being, it’s as if he killed humanity.

What is happening in the enslaved Muslim countries is a natural reaction to occupation, bombings, killing and terrorizing of innocent civilians (children, old men and women), rapes, in addition to looting of resources, national antiques and artifacts, above all destruction of property by the occupiers.

Terror breeds terror.

We assure those who bash Islam that if there was no occupation in this world by foreign invaders, there would be no resistance – the so-called terror.

We would like those who criticize Islam to explain the following acts committed by the Christians on Jews, other Christians and Muslims alike, throughout history:

- Hundreds of thousands of Muslim men, women and children killed by the crusaders, who were Christians.

- Inquisition of Jews and Muslims from Spain by Queen Isabella, a Christian.

- Millions of people killed by the European and American Christians during the two world wars.

- Hundreds of thousands of Christians killed every year by the Irish Christians, including the British and the IRA, both Catholics and Protestants, during the past few centuries. Why are they not blamed to be “Christian Terrorists?”

Both of them believe in Jesus Christ, who told them to turn the other cheek, and both of them believe in the same Lord, Who commanded that “Thou shall not kill.” Period.

- Timothy McVeigh, who bombed the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, was a Catholic. Are all Catholics terrorists?

Last but not least, the bombings, killings, rapings and lynchings of both American Indians and black slaves (Afro-Americans) during the past 200 years in the United States.

What about them?

Will those filled with hate for Islam blame Christianity for the above inhuman acts by Christians in various parts of the world since its inception?

If not, then why are they blaming the religion of Islam for what is a natural reaction to occupation of Muslim countries by foreign invaders?

Most importantly, these folks should know that the three great Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam – have one common basis, and that is one (1) God Almighty, ALONE!

I'm a Syrian who's home and neighbourhood was bombed by Bashar Al Assad and was forced to flee with my life at a young age because of the war crimes committed BY the Assad regime. Many of my friends and relatives, all innocent people, were killed or imprisoned despite committing no crime, by this regime that you're hell bent on defending. Most of my neighbourhood is completely gone.

First of all, I really appreciate ur work🤍

Now, to my problem, I used to be a non-practicing muslim astaghfirullah and due to my environment (i take full responsibility tho, I think blaming ur environment for everything is bad and irresponsible) I think I became a very horrible person.

I never purposely hurt anyone to my knowledge, but I think that just makes it worse because if it was an action of mine that my fingers could point at, it would be easier to remove it from my system, but instead it's something more subconscious and passive.

Alhamdulillah🤍 Allah guided me and I became practicing and though I sin a lot it is better than having 0 self-awareness and never praying. But I fear my behaviour to others is almost the same (I never actively try to help people, I think only of how much people used to wrong me and continue to do so, but never of how much I - behind my excuse of introversion - hurt people with my apathy)

Also I am a very shy person and this often stops me from doing even small acts of kindness and common decency, like thanking people, complimenting people, loving people, being actively gentle and helpful to them and I don't know how to overcome my old patterns of behaviour that only now I see as unhealthy.

Had you been a really horrible person, you'd never feel bad for wronging others or for not being able to help, just saying..

2) there is just so much sincerity and genuine truth to your story, it is clear that you are being very humble and very sincere. May Allah swt accept your sincere repentance and grant you Hos forgiveness and His guidance. My Allah swt keep you steadfast on his straight path my sister, ameen.

I loved how you were being grateful admitting and recognizing that even the fact that you are now practicing is a gift and a blessing from Allah swt, and you don't take credit for it. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes that if you are righteous or pious or being a good Muslim and for example praying on time, it is a blessing from Allah swt and you should be actually grateful and never take His guidance, His hidaya for granted, because like He swt gave you that, He could easily take it away. There is a saying in Arabic that goes like :

من كان في نعمة و لم يشكر، خرج منها و لم يشعر

That who was in a blessing and didn't thank (Allah) - wasn't grateful - would get out of that blessing without realizing it.

So, Alhamdulillah a thousand times that you are not getting in your head and you're being very humble about it. Allahuma barik laki ✨

As for your character and how you deal with others, all I can say is sübhanallah nobody among us is perfect. Our behaviors depend on our personalities and our issues.. I think you shouldn't really put pressure on yourself. I think you shouldn't force yourself to feel empathy or help others when you don't feel like it because it would be hypocrisy as it's not coming from within you, and God forbid, you would be not sincere in your intentions. Allahu aālam. So I say, maybe you should read more about how kindness and charity were core characters in the life of the Prophet ﷺ and his sahaba. I recently heard about how oue mother Aisha and her sister Asmae bintu Abi Bakr As-sidiq may Allah swt be pleased with all of them were the best at giving charity, how Asmae wouldn't leave anything at the house for the next day she would just give it all for the sake of Allah swt and it really stuck with me because as a Muslimah I would want to look up to them and follow their footsteps, in shaa Allah. Maybe if you listen to lectures about the importance of charity (even a kind word is charity, even a smile is charity) and how Allah swt appreciates sadaqah and the believer who gives sadaqah, maybe then your heart will soften towards that act. Kheir in shaa Allah. But again, I don't want you to feel guilty about not being able to, or not feeling empathetic. Sometimes it's the trauma that deactivates the feature of empathy for us let's say, sometimes it's the trust issues, it could be your emotional baggage, God knows what you've been through, sis so cut yourself some slack. Kheir in shaa Allah :)

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah will aid His slave so long as he aids his brother. [Muslim]

salima let me start off by saying that i did use the f slur. i should have held myself accountable a long time ago and apologised for it. it doesn't matter what my reasoning for it was, i used a deeply offensive slur that's used to hurt mlm. it was in extremely poor taste and not my place to use it since i can't reclaim it. salima you claim that you never used the f slur when you used it in a conversation with me before. after all of you started making vagues about me using the f slur i went to look into our old conversations to find out that you deleted your use of it. you can deny it all you want but it's the truth and you're equally as complicit as me.

i don't know if the accusations that i'm racist and islamophobic stem from the palestine thing or is it a separate matter? i strongly disagree with those accusations because i was never racist or islamophobic on this blog, in private or in any groupchat. when serafinedupont started getting all the racist and islamophobic anons a few months back i learned about it through a friend who showed me that messofakind believes that i called serafinedupont a racial slur on anon.

About a month ago, a video emerged of an Indian teacher telling students to slap a 7-year-old classmate. The boy had gotten his multiplication tables wrong, but his real crime was being an Indian Muslim.

Since 1947, India used to be a secular democracy, but its current leader, Narendra Modi of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), advances a radically different vision. Modi wants India to become a Hindu nation, in which India’s religious minorities (about 20% of the population) are second-class citizens and Muslims especially (about 14% of Indians) are compelled to accept increasing majoritarian violence. 

Indeed, stories of terrorizing Indian Muslims have become depressingly common in Modi’s India, with human rights groups documenting rising violence with each passing year. International groups, such as Freedom House and V-Dem, consider India only “partly free” and an “electoral autocracy” owing to the sharp decline of human and civil rights.

4th of July, 2023 - Happy Independence Day to all Americans. On this day, I aim not to spoil your festivities but only draw your attention to something serious which is happening in the world since a decade after 9/11. Islam is actually a peaceful religion but some countries in the West are hell-bent on associating it with violence and terrorism. We should attach peace with all three Abrahamic religions and that's where this email which I received today is important to read. Please go through it yourself and any references of Christianity here are only meant to serve as examples:

Individuals, not religions, carry out inhuman activities. PERIOD!.

Islam is a religion of peace, accepted and practiced by more than 1.25 billion people worldwide. It is the fastest-growing religion in the world, and if it was what some critics claim, why should the people from all walks of life from around the world keep embracing Islam?

Where is the sword now?

In Islam, a person has the right to defend himself, his family, his country or his neighbor(s), which justifies the resistance being offered by the people of Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, Iraq, Kashmir and Palestine, to attacks on their soils by the so-called liberators, who are actually the occupiers.

The Holy Qur’an clearly states that if a person saves one life, it’s as if he saved humanity, and if a person kills one human being, it’s as if he killed humanity.

What is happening in the enslaved Muslim countries is a natural reaction to occupation, bombings, killing and terrorizing of innocent civilians (children, old men and women), rapes, in addition to looting of resources, national antiques and artifacts, above all destruction of property by the occupiers.

Terror breeds terror.

We assure those who bash Islam that if there was no occupation in this world by foreign invaders, there would be no resistance – the so-called terror.

We would like those who criticize Islam to explain the following acts committed by the Christians on Jews, other Christians and Muslims alike, throughout history:

- Hundreds of thousands of Muslim men, women and children killed by the crusaders, who were Christians.

- Inquisition of Jews and Muslims from Spain by Queen Isabella, a Christian.

- Millions of people killed by the European and American Christians during the two world wars.

- Hundreds of thousands of Christians killed every year by the Irish Christians, including the British and the IRA, both Catholics and Protestants, during the past few centuries. Why are they not blamed to be “Christian Terrorists?”

Both of them believe in Jesus Christ, who told them to turn the other cheek, and both of them believe in the same Lord, Who commanded that “Thou shall not kill.” Period.

- Timothy McVeigh, who bombed the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, was a Catholic. Are all Catholics terrorists?

Last but not least, the bombings, killings, rapings and lynchings of both American Indians and black slaves (Afro-Americans) during the past 200 years in the United States.

What about them?

Will those filled with hate for Islam blame Christianity for the above inhuman acts by Christians in various parts of the world since its inception?

If not, then why are they blaming the religion of Islam for what is a natural reaction to occupation of Muslim countries by foreign invaders?

Most importantly, these folks should know that the three great Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam – have one common basis, and that is one (1) God Almighty, ALONE!

“All men (and women) are created equal, and we all are one nation under Almighty God,” is a statement according to the Holy Qur’an and is very well elucidated in the U.S. Constitution.
