NEW STORY RECOMENDATION TIME! 'Pleasantview: Secrets' by @pleasant-lives
This story is very beautifully made, written and presented!
Stunning set design, realistic views and I love how the story is set up and the way the magic is mentioned is so respectful of the lore - I love it!
Also I always appreciate (and I'm learning quickly as making my own sims 2 story) when creators/writers put the sims in custom realistic poses, even if it's just crossing their legs or the right expression at the right time.
I also like Uberhood-style stories that don't just limit the characters to just Pleasantview (for example).
In this story you have the Veronaville teenagers and the Summerdreams, as well as Olive Spector from Strangetown.
I love love love, how there is a banner picture for each chapter and how easy the story is to read!
You can find the index page to read the story here.
Please give this story a read, it's so good!

I.Love.This.Story.It's.So.Fresh.And.Alive.I.Need.More.Pretty.Please.Is.There.Another.Chapter? x 😍
After her makeover, and with even a new casual outfit courtesy of Jay, Mary-Sue and Robert walked to a nearby park. As they walked they found an empty table and sat down to chat more comfortably. Robert looked at her, she even acted a little differently, he smirked knowingly.
“So, was it a good experience? Or should I just give up and retire?” He asked.
Mary-Sue took a deep breath and smiled before answering.
“Fine, I guess I enjoyed a little pampering and being showered with compliments from Jay. As a working mom you tend to forget to give yourself a rest, so I’d rather not admit how long it’s been since I did anything similar.”
“I know you think these things don’t matter, but you’d be surprised by how much of an impact visuals can have on an audience. Even just seeing how you behave right now, there’s a boost of confidence, and an ability to relate to you better than before, I know if you keep this going it will show in the people’s response.
“If I keep this up?” Mary asked. “Credit where credit is due, Mr. Kim. This is something I have no experience in and wouldn’t have even tried if it weren’t for you. I’d like you to be part of my campaign team, if you are still on board.”
“It would be my pleasure. Call me Robert, please.”
